Since jellybean yesterday ive had some crap green tinge on photos using flash.
If i wanted that id use aosp not have to use sense because of the camera!

I noticed mine doesn't focus properly now either

Several times i encountered this with my phone. I first noticed it 3 days after getting it.
Its as if the camera got physically disconnected.
Its not app dependent, if i try to go to another camera app it just wont show anything on the screen.
Restart usually helps
Has anyone else encountered this? What should i do?
Exchange that immediately.

When i was in the store, the camera worked and i hadn't done the screenshots yet. Will they believe me just based on the screenshots if the cam happens to be working at the moment
If it's working now you might have to fight a little bit more but I believe the screen shots are certainly pretty evident all in themselves.

Snap a shot with another camera holding the phone whilst displaying that messege and they cant argue with that!

I had this same camera issue with my first (1 week old) Galaxy Nexus phone. At first the issue only happened occasionally, then starting occurring more frequently with each passing day. I would suggest exchanging it immediately, as I did.
Hi,
Just a question, wondering why my photos are coming out at 1.3mb when my sgs2 was shooting them around 3.5mb each... I have gone through all the settings and everything is on highest level.. is this just me ?

No it's not just you. Evident by the multitudes of similar threads that you would have noticed if you used the search function...which is required before you make a thread...
Yip looked back over the last week, havnt seen any.. will look again..

I'm getting really blurry pictures but when I flashed a custom room it went away. Unfortunately I don't remember which once it was. I could start restoring all my nand backups to try and fugue it out. Our it's it possible it's the camera? It wasn't as clear ad the first S3 I had and bricked. I took the bricked phone completely apart. I'm thinking if switching the camera. Any thoughts? I'm perfectly capable off doing it. I was an electronics tech for 15 years.

Mine was like that too. So i knew it was probably not the phone but the firmware. Yesterday I found a Rom that got rid of the blurry camera.I know I'm not the only one that's had that problem. Quite a few since I started researching it. I love this site. Not many places where I can really read online and never know enough.

I know this is a simple step but try touching the screen to focus? Maybe?
Hi to all,
My gf got the one x for x-mas and since the 4.1.1 update she gets blurry / out of focus pictures. Outdoor is fine but indoor is terrible.
Is there a fix for this?
She doesn't want her phone unlocked or messed with.......grrrr.
Thanks for any reply.

Ever since 4.03 which is what my one x came with, ive been having the same trouble. Im now on 4.1.1. Indoor photos suck and outdoor photos are good. Not sure how to fix it though. Im thinking its just a crap camera... Or i just cant take photos for **** :sly:

Main reason i got it for her was the camera so I'm taking it back one way or an other. They shouldn't have hired crap personel at t-mobile that can't give proper advice. I specificly asked for a good camera mainly indoor use. Birthday's etc.
Guess I'm going to have a ball at the t-mobile shop.......
What kind of indoor conditions? Have you kept your ISO to auto?
I make good photos indoor, do u use auto settings?
No auto thats when things go wrong.
I got it replaced by t mobile with a galaxy s3. End of htc for me.
Samsung fanboy since omnia II and now had sgs2, note, note 2 and now sgs3. Love samsung...always good.
First htc and tadaa one unhappy costumer.
Gf wouldn't allow me to root and flash a different rom.
So I got it replaced after a lot of *****ing @ t mobile.

Has anyone tried the slow motion yet? I've taken several videos, at night, indoors and outside in bright day light and they all look very very terrible. They look as if they were taken in 480p scaled up. Actually they look like a crappy GIF animation.
Is anyone experiencing the same thing or is it just a problem on my end.
I'll upload a video if anyone wants to see.
Nexus ONE
Yep same here on ATT note 3. Defeates the whole purpose and makes it unusable.
I have the same problem.

The video says it's 720p but it looks really terrible. I hope it's a software issue that gets resolved in an update.
Nexus ONE
Yep I have the same issue, very disappointing indeed.

Oh no! This is one feature that made me want this phone rather than an iPhone. Crap, I hope Samsung will fix this soon.
How do you access slow mo video ?

Judging by the sample videos posted on YouTube, this is a widespread problem. Even the commenters there noticed how pixelated and fuzzy the image is.
Cmon Samsung... this is one THE best feature that people are looking for, yet you fail so bad.
This stopped me from purchasing the Note 3. With the locked bootloader, no hide application features and now this...
The one on the HTC one S has been the best slow mo cam I've used. Not even the iPhone was compares. I still can't figure out how to use it on the note.

It's so strange that Samsung would offer a feature like this and it be so terrible. I thought my camera S defective
