4.2.1 Jellybean? - HTC One V

How likely is it that we will be getting 4.2.1 Jellybean for our beloved ONE V? 4.1 runs amazingly and just wondering how different 4.2.1 would be to port? Thanks!

in upcoming days i dont think so! we have to wait long .........! Developers are still on work

Jellybean 4.1 is not yet bug-free and fully stable on our hov so, I doubt we will see 4.2 anytime soon.

jellybean for wildfire

i was wondering if anybody is starting to build a jellybean rom for wildfire as the sources was released a few days ago .
Some how, I don't think we will be seeing Jelly Bean on our Widlfire / Buzz for a while if its got as many problems running as ICS does on it.
But, good luck to anyone to try, I would love to be able to help get it running!
Agreed, I'd like to see a stable ICS ROM..that would make me happy but yeah jelly bean would be a nice feature.

I think it got released for armv6 devices, so we are able to port it in wildfire but with lower speed features
hopefully we can get it working if it has been released for armv6 devices.
the lag might not be so bad as overclocking might speed it up

this is still work in progress but it seems like that it will work

Obviously there will be many AOSP Jelly Bean ROMs out as it has just been released. There are only two CM10 ROMs. Jelly Bean for Sense hasn't been released, so developers are pretty much at a standstill until it is.

Who needs JB if you can have a buttery smooth and stable ROM for a Sense phone.

Actually I notice quite a difference between ICS and JB ROMs.

You can't really judge that until we see an official jelly bean rom for the HOX and how Sense will work alongside it.

Yup, that's true. But what I meant was that the current unofficial JB ROMs are smoother than the ICS sense ROMs for me.

As far as i know, there is only one working jelly bean port here atm. This is from Flinny and i think he wants to keep it as close to CM and Andromadus as possible, this means, no sense in this rom. As he wrote a few days ago, he will release a Beta/RC-Version of his Port soon, so there are maybe other people that will include the sense-stuff then in their own versions. But thats just a guess, so atm there is no chance to get sense on jelly bean i think.

Check out the dev thread there are a few good roms floating around for jb.

I have tried some of them, but which one is the best? Because I don't think I'd want to flash all of them.

^^^^ this.
And besides, most of the available Roms are equally stable / very soon to be stable.
Do a good flash, making sure to wait a while right after flashing, and all will be good.

You need Jedi Jelly 6. Its a Samsung Touchwiz ROM. I have had nothing but smooth performance.

I've really been enjoying the AOKP Jellybean. There are some minor issues with bugs being worked out with the nightlies, but overall it's dope!
I've been on CM 10.1 nightly 03/23 since that day and it's really nice. Everything works smoothly and CM is a pleasure.

I second this one. Jedi Jelly 6 is very smooth. My only issue with it is that it's based off of a leaked AT&T ROM.
I believe ptmr3 (the dev) is working on a new version that is based on the recent 4.1.2 release specifically for the SGH-T989.
I switched to an AOSP based ROM and I'm never looking back despite wifi calling being a cool feature, but I never used it. Anyway, I've been using 2.2 Slimstars which was pretty great. The updates seemed to be a little unstable like the camera not working. Is the new one, 4.12 pretty much fixed? And are there many changes with 4.2.2? I may try PACman. How's that stability wise? Stability and speed (I just want it to work without waiting you know?) are priorities.
ptmr3's Jedi Mind Trick JB 2.1 is by the the fastest and smoothest and glitch free rom out there
I have tried almost all roms of the ICS and JB flavour
personally I do not like non touchwiz roms
and all CM and AOKP 4.2 roms do not support MHL output or Bluetooth mouse properly
everything seems to work on JMT except for OP known issues
