Message Counter?

Is there a mod that enables the stock messaging app to show me how many messages I have in each thread on the conversation list?

Texts are typically auto deleted after 200 messages. However I know of no way to count them specifically

I know 4.2 has group text but untill then coyld we get this working. On our stock or rooted phones? Any apps or method to get this working besidse unofficial rom

I used to use Sliding Messaging but it was too laggy so I switched to Textra. This was after using the stock messaging app for about a month.
Is there any way to get the AOSP messaging app on a TouchWiz ROM?
