Hey guys,
I bought a black htc One v without branding and i was asking myself wich Version it is?
Is there a way to find it out?

first off, who is your carrier? that can tell you whether its cdma or gsm.
second, the little door on the bottom back chin of the phone where you put your sdcard in, is there a sim card in there? that will be a sure tell.
please let us know.
I come from Germany (sorry for my bad english at this point) and my carrier is congstar (prepaid). But i bought the phone in a local media store without simlock. And yes, there is a normal SIM card in there beside the microSD card slot.

Hey no worries, your English sounds pretty good to me. Glad to see you got this squared away.

Sent from my HTC One V using xda app-developers app
Sorry - autocorrect
*But the cdma version must have a SIM too or is it build-in?
Sent from my HTC One V using xda app-developers app
Only the gsm versions have sim cards. Sorry I should have been more clear on that. You have the gsm one v.

I think this is the wrong place, but I'm guessing you wouldn't be interested in a Verizon?

Hello all I'm looki.g to trade out my hov for another phone. The phone in question is a Kyocera rise. Both phones are virgin mobile(cdma) but I just want some opinions on the trade before I do it thanks in advanced

HTC one v has more ROMs and better specs bro. Kyro only has dumb keyboard which is getting phased out because it makes the phone very thick.
Sent from my HTC One V+ (Because the X+ isn't as bamf as my V+)
If I helped you don't say thanks, click it!!
my mom has the rise...stick to the one v. unless you like physical keyboards...

Imbstickin with the one v for now how ever someone has offered up a moto triumph

my wife and I both had one v with cricket. I got a good deal on the evo 3d and switched to that. pretty much acts the same as the one v, but faster and a bigger screen
the triumph is even worse than the rise... I heard most of them lost the ability to charge. but the specs aren't up to the v

I've decided to keep my hov I'm now run rythmicrom

Hey buddies, I have a black htc one x (at&t) and a piece broke off and the motherboard on the backside, just below the flash LED. Looks like a copper coil/spring. Does anybody know what its for and where I can get one?

Wait a minute. It DID start off with HTC one x at the top, then I pressed Q&A troubleshoot, and this is where it got me.

You need the at&t Rogers telstra one x/xl forum, it should be either just above or below the one x in the forum list

I bought a case that charges the phone through the pins at the back, however it's not working on my one x and it works on my cousins
I think my contact pins aren't working
Any ideas? Would a factory reset help?

Probably a hardware issue. Send it back

Hmmm alright I'll get it checked out...

Had the same problem. Opened the phone and found it disconnected. Pushed the connector back in. Now it work fine. Definitely a hardware issue.

There is plenty of tutorials on youtube... It's not that hard but you do have to be very careful...
Yeah I saw some tutorials but I wouldn't know which wire/connection to change
