I've been looking and couldn't find an answer. so I thought I would ask it here. I just rooted my at&t note 2 and been wondering if I could use a sprint Rom on here. The one i wanted to use was the jellybomb rom so is it possible to use that rom on my at&t note 2?
dont think you should do that. if it meant to be flashed on the ATT model, im pretty sure we'd have a port/version of that rom.
supposedly, many people say flashing a rom not meant for your device can lead to a hardbrick.
Short answer, Deninitely NOT

I've got an AT&T upgrade available and am trying to decide between this and the Note 2, so far I'm leaning towards this but I have a couple of questions first.
How is development coming along? I looked at the Dev sections but they are completely empty so should I just assume it isn't rooted yet? Or is it that the bootloader is not unlocked yet?
If its still all locked down, how is progress coming along with it, or is there anywhere I could read up to find out more?
If I don't make sense, feel free to ask me questions or give me links to anything. Just got off a 10 hour shift when I'm used to 4 so my brain is kinda fuzzy at the moment. Thanks guys I hope to be posting more in the Optimus section soon.
The AT&T model is rooted and bootloader unlocked. Devs are working on custom roms. There is a base rom for devs and those who want to a debloated stock rom plus goodies.
You'll find more info in the AT&T forum for the LGOG.

Well thanks, I honestly didn't even notice the AT&T version forums. Is this just a general Optimus G area or is this a specific version?

i have recently bought the note 2 from att. i am looking to root my device, i have been reading up and the roms i have seen dont really seem to change much from the stock version minus a few here and there. also, i read that cm 10 disables the use of the stylus with is a bummer. as i was looking forward to it. as i had cm 9 on my last htc smartphone. my question is, from experience, which is the best rom to use without disabling any of my stock abilities? and where can i download this rom to my computer. thanks.
International rom port is what you want

Just curious, why install the International Rom on the AT&T version? What is there to gain?

Biggest thing is the multi window functionality.

I'm currently running the Jedi X6-Port 4.1.2 ROM on my SGH-I317M Note 2 (Rogers).
So just a simple question, can someone point to me to - if it yet exists - a port of the Rogers or AT&T equivalent of the Note 3's stock port rom? All these threads are pretty overwhelming. I really like Touchwiz.
Touchwiz 4.3 rom for note 2 I guess is my question?
Thanks.
I believe this is a port of the leaked 4.3 with some note 3 stuff mixed in. Dont think that there is a full note 3 port

Thanks but it seems data and wifi with that rom isn't working for the 317M variant.

There's no reason to go lower than LK3. Mind if I ask why you want that old ICS crap ROM? Which was completely terrible on the S3.
I don't want the rom just wanted to know why it was completely abandoned

Hey guys so I have a pretty dumb question as I have been looking but couldn't really find an answer. So when I had my s3 and s4 I was able to use at&t roms on it with no problems. My question now is can I use at&t roms on my Canadian note 4 (SM-N910W8)? Thank you
