I went through the directions posted in this section recently and had some issues with the install process... I ended up doing a search and found a thread where Paul (Modaco ROM creator/dev) ended up building the process into a simple APK!

LINKS are fine working and download in Oprea, IE and FF and this is GTalk Video APK...
Go back and check your settings..
Try talk 1.3 installer by Brainwash Studio. It is available in market.

I can't get it to work on my S II, keeps giving a force close error
I install "Talk Installer 1.3", i made backup, when press install it don't download and force close aplication.
I rooted my s2 and i have permision to superuser.
Can any help me?
Edit:
I found solution.
1º Install talk installer 1.3
2º run, press yes create backup original gtalk.
3º with file explorer, cut the file /sdcard/Android/Data/com.brainwashstudio.talkinstaller/files/backup.zip
and save other directory.
4º download gtalk1.3b.nowifi.ffc-signed.zip decompress a create backup.zip with this files:
GoogleServicesFramework.apk
Talk.apk
5º put the new backup.zip with gtalk w video in the same directory of original:
/sdcard/Android/Data/com.brainwashstudio.talkinstaller/files/backup.zip
6º put the file libtalk_jni.so with root explorer in the directory:
/system/lib/libtalk_jni.so
7º run talk installes 1.3 and restore backup.
8º reboot and loggin google account and sync.

but i still got the backup in my lappy but my internet speed is super slow to upload a 350mb file it will at least take 5-6 hour
and btw i do agree with you chapter 3 is better cheers

Yea, the hybrid ROM is also quite good except the tearing problem. I have just flashed back to chapter 3. haha~
can u upload your backup file?? im willing to wait... my brother accidentally erased all my back up files that is why i couldn't flash back to chapter 3.. please please.... T_T

first do a backup in CWM then unzip the files and you will get a folder that you have to place inside the clockwork folder so tha you can do a restore from the CWM menu. do not install do a restore

You have to extract the 2 files with 7zip into 1 file , copy and put it into the same folder of your back up file , boot into CWM and chose restore & back up, then chose restore from sd , select the file that you have copy into it..... and wait until it finish the back up process.

Even Black Notes Last Page is using CWM5, so I think it's better not to use CWM6 (you may still try but please remember to do a backup), BTW may I know the reason you prefer this over the latest Last Page? Thanks in advance

In the 'CWM6 by Arco' thread, people have been restoring CWM5 backups using CWM6.
But YMMV.

i'm here now for replay some steps to install this awesome game on our Android mobile.
So, here they are:
INSTALLATION:

Here is a great video, about how to play this game on Galaxy Ace:
-> FOR THOSE WHO ARE STILL ENABLE TO PLAY THE GAME SEE THIS:
1)Download The Game From Link removed
2)Now Install .apk on ur phone (Don't Put The Cache)
3)Now run the game and it will say and error then close the game...now open cache in ur pc
and search for a file named "dynamic_text.prefabs.sb"
4)Now delete this file and put the cache in ur phone in (sd/Android/Data)
5)Now run the game with ur internet switched on..now it may need a file check
6)Game will start without lags but dont use ChainFire 3D else game will crash
I HOPE THAT WITH THIS SIMPLE STEPS EVERYONE CAN PLAY THE GAME !

7zip and winrar giving same process bro error error when creating archieve zip.. but when dL from github its working..

Root permission is not required to view /system dir, nd u can view build.prop file in any txt viewer/editor for eg fx manager, solid explorer.Just view it try to edit it (yes ?) , then select all text ,then copy paste it on another text file nd u got a copy of build.prop ... That's all(nd u don't even need pc) .I use solid explorer . ?
