Request for Unlocking bootloader Att note 8.0 i467

i would love to try out new roms and fully utilize my awesome i467 note 8.0
this locked bootloader sucks
im willing to even pay .
moderator if i posted in the wrong section , please remove.
There´s no need to unlock bootloader to try any ROM I think...
You just have to check if your Note 8 is the N5100, N5110 or N5120 version, that I think in your case is the N5120

I would pay too. A only partially functional 4.1.2 is not ideal. Screen lag is killing me.
Yes the i467 is a different variation, and I agree the screen lag really sucks. I wish someone could help us.... it would be a great xmas presant ; p aaaaaand id give you a night with my sexy korean gf
It's just rather strange and irritating that there is no support in here for the U.S. variant (SGH-i467). I bought mine from AT&T .. should have look on here first before getting it !!

Guys, sorry but we're all basically screwed on this one! Unlocking the bootloader on this device just isn't going to happen. Even if it did my some miracle, there's no one that wants to build a custom rom for it. There's barely anyone that wants to build a rom for the wifi version! This device never really just caught on in popularity like some others. My advice is to just take the bite like I did and get something else. I'm sure you could find someone out there that doesn't care about an unlocked bootloader that'll take it off your hands. It does suck but that's just the way it is.
Trust me, I learned the hard way too!!! If it helps I would recommend a Nexus 7 2013. It's not to expensive and there are tons of roms out there. Even if you don't root it or unlock it it's already updated to 4.4.2. Well, anyways, everyone have a Merry Christmas!!!!!

Nothing about the T707...

Hello guys, I made the mistake of buying the at&t version of the S 8.4 and would have like to either flash a light rom or at least debloat the thing but can't find anything here. Is that model persona non grata around these parts? Or am I missing something?

Not currently rootable, therefore no roms and no de-bloat.
Return and get International version.

That's what I did... international version was cheaper, has more functionality, and is nicely hackable. Only tiny downside is the slightly bronze color doesn't perfectly match the silver casing of the AT&T keyboard case I bought. Loving this thing though.
I believe SM-T705 does not work with Tmobile LTE.

Yeah! I live in Yonkers, NY and my service with Cricket. This device is like new was a gift from my mother
I really do not want to sell because it has a sentimental value for me. So I'd rather give it to my wife and buy the note 5 of TMO or international because someone told me in another forum ..... that versions are better, be true?

LG is fine but I dont like the software, I dont know abt you!!! The samsung, they used to have bad support to the customer (updates...) but its ok now, pretty fast recently!!! But for any brands, I would prefer the international version which u can fine the brand new on Amazon- I mean from Amazon dealer not someone else!!!

Yeah! I dont like the LG style ? ...look like a MTK. And Sony is good and safe but, i dont like. Nexus or T mobile Note 4.... is my best choice. Thanks so much my brother and you will see me soon cooking possibly for some rom note 4 of TMO.
Yes, you can use your phone with T-Mobile, but I'm not sure if the phone will work 100% with their data and network.
Someone will need to clarify on that for you.
For sure, you will not be able to receive updates through T-Mobile. Your phones are still ATT, so they require ATT firmware. In order to receive ATT OTA updates, you have to have an active ATT sim.
However, you can still use Odin to flash your phones with the latest ATT firmwares. You'll be able to find the Odin files here on XDA a couple weeks after a firmware is launched via OTA.

Difference in U1 variant??

Hey guys, been awhile since my last post. Anyway, I recently grabbed the factory unlocked version of the A50 from BestBuy. The model number is SM-A505U1. I haven't been able to find any posts or development support for this variant. Is it compatible with any of the more supported models or am I alone in the dark here? It has the Exynos processor, that's as much as I know for the time being. Thanks in advance for any information.

Here I've attached a screenshot of my "About phone" section.
Bump for an answer??? C'mon guys, help me out here, lol...
Samsung Galaxy A50 SM-A505F/DS /
Samsung SM-A505U1
From the links you can see there isn't much of a difference when it comes to chipset. Both phones have Samsung Exynos 7 Octa 9610, 2018, 64 bit, octa-core, 10 nm, ARM Mali-G72 GPU. The only difference is USA version has NFC.
The other variant has a custom rom [A50][OneUI Pie][JetBlackUI] LightROM
Theoretically everything should work besides NFC which might not be a deal breaker considering the fact that you lose android pay functionality anyways.

I have the same variant, factory unlocked A505U1, and have been combing the interweb looking for anything and haven't found anything aside from a few combo roms, most of which I can't flash because of bootloader issues not letting me downgrade to Oreo. I'm no developer, though I am in school headed that direction, but if there is anything I can do or test to help in the good fight then let me know!
