Locked bootloader Rom options XS - Sony Xperia S, Acro S, Ion

]Hi guys,
I'm new to Sony's and I'm wondering what options I have for roms with a locked bootloader;
I did search but I'm on my phone and tapatalk doesn't do a great job.
Is it possible to get jellybean on with a locked bootloader?
I'm after some thing quick, and good on battery life.
Thanks in advance
Phil.

Better stay on stock rom with locked bootloader.I suggest not to unlock bootloader even. Not worthy

And not never, in half a year or less hopefully it'll come through as an official update

I'm running. 55 rooted but it's draining battery

Something you have installed will be draining battery, not the rom.
How bad is the drain?

I'd say stock has better battery life for me so I'd stay on stock but on the other hand once you start flashing you can't stop. So read up and do it! You can always come back to stock if your not happy. Who needs.

I flashed it already and I can flash-coming from a galaxy s3 I was constantly trying new roms,
Was just trying to get a feel of what I can flash with a locked bootloader

I was just reading about down gradeing to gingerbread,
Apprently it's better on battery and the camera focus issue seem better?

Yea but its old and slow

For me the best rom for locked bootloader is MIUI.
Much more usable and configurable and has best autonomy. With stock or stock based roms I never pass a full day, with miui I can use 1.5 days with the same normal use.
On both roms I use 3g only when need to access the Web and airplane mode when sleeping.

Looking for a stable rom for my play

Hi guys.. Im loking for a stable rom to flash.. Well if there any, i know xplay is new might not have a stable rom.. The only thing keep me away from flashing custom rom is bug.. And i dont like bug for my everyday use.. Yea i can wait for ics from sony but custom rom is the best.. Im using cyanogen 7 on my galaxy mini, and its fast(less system apps), stable, longer battery life, more features, lots of themes.. Sorry for my bad english.. Thanks..

I like dark forest 3.1.0 runs great and I didn't have to unlock the bootloader for it.

After having HongKong ics with fully functional everything, and tethering not locked, why would anyone want to run the att version ics?

For those that did the upgrade no reason. But plenty of people that haven't manually upgraded are waiting for official. Besides maybe the AT&T build will have some upgrades over the lt28h version.

Just wondering what we can't do? I also have LT28at but I am rooted and on ICS with at&t locked bootloader. Sure we cannot flash custom kernels yet, but sources have only been out a few days.

Is there anything a non developer can do to help? I love my i777 and I'm so excited for my ion I'd love to get ics and jb roms without boot lock. Once I get it I'm gonna try sonys site to see if I can unlock it ik no ones had success. Then I'll talk to Sony see what there plans are on unlocking

[Q] [XS] Who is going to stay?

As the title already says with the upcoming Xperia Z on the horizon, I recognized, lots of developers are going to switch.
My question now is, who of you awesome developers will stay with us and our beloved Xperia S and keep us updated with new awesome roms/features/themes/apps?
I would also take this chance to thank all of you for your epic and hard work!
I will stay

It depends on how much of develop knowledge I get this year. If I get enough money and dev knowledge. I'm moving.

No don't leave us krab! I love my s but the z looks cool. Little big for my taste though. I have the money but as long as development stays strong I'll hold off.

XSX No fast charging..

Hi,I was searching google/xda but didn't found any help...
Since JB Update (.200) my fast charge is gone ,it's now 1h since charging and only 12%full, Please does anyone have the same problem?
Thx for any Help
Sent from my Xperia S
Fast charge is off on stock kernel on all xperia s.
For faste charge unlock bootloader and flash DoomKernel which is fast charge enabled.
Sent from my LT26i using xda app-developers app
Not true.
I have a stock kernel and Rom. My ep 850 charger charges up to 1300 mA. And it always has. Gb, ics and jb. No difference

Can you download kernel tuner from google play and screenshoot the cpu specs.
Maybe there is some clue why is that...you are the only person i know that have fc on JB. You are lucky.

I Updated it to. 211 and it seems it's better now,but it drains my battery fast :/ But when I'm listening music in Walkman the battery life is much longer...I miss the Battery Saver from ICS btw is it clever to buy a not Sony product battery?
