Im ordering fingerprint scanner, audio jack, earpiece and phone speaker (buzzer) replacement parts. Yes, they had all went unfunctional on my atrix after a year of use thanks to cheapass Motorola.
What is your opinion about about chinagadgetland are they honest? Are the parts good quality? they sure are not so cheap so I hope to get functional parts.
If you have any other parts resellers that ship worldwide I'd be glad to hear about them.
Http://CNN.cn are a great source that I used for many phones. Some others exist and then there is eBay where you would always select a seller based on ratings.

CNN.cn lacks half the parts I need and also the prices are bit disappointing, comparing to chinagadgetland.
eBay is a nice resource for parts indeed but seems like you cant find the fingerprint module part there...
any other suggestions?

does anyone have any vibrant headphones (the ones that came in the box)? or any place where I can buy them?
I bought a replacement pair on eBay for cheap after I lost mine. Just search for samsung vibrant headphones oem.
This is what you want - the same headphones that came out of the box:

Are you sure these are the ones that come with the phone and are NOT OEM?

Maybe I misunderstand what you are asking, slikk, but wanting the same headphones that came with the phone means to seek out OEM Samsung headphones.
If a product being sold by a third party is stated as an OEM product, then it means the seller did not manufacture it (thereby being from the "Original Equipment Manufacturer"). So to get headphones manufactured by Samsung, thus being the same ones that came with the phone, you actually WANT an OEM Samsung product.
The ones I linked to are an OEM product, so they would be the same ones that came with the phone.
Are these the same as the ones that come with vibrant.
If so, whats the difference between the above headset and this one besides the price.

They are claiming OEM, but the picture doesn't match the stock headphones you get when you buy a vibrant. Maybe the photo they are using is wrong, or maybe they are made by Samsung and the seller misidentified them as t959...no idea.
I actually bought the ones I linked to because the left ear on mine went out, so I can vouch they are the same as what you get when you originally bought your phone.
Hope I've helped you out.
The ones from Deal Day link above are the ones that came stock in the box. I have ordered a pair as well. You can get them there for about $15 or from Samsung for $30. Up to you.

Just what I needed. I got my Vibrant off Craigslist so they didn't include any headphones. Replacements for less than $10? Win.. How is the quality on them though?
haven't recieved them yet. Expecting them in a day or so. I contacted the seller,he said they are OEM. I would expect the quality to be the same as the stock ones.
I never got the chance to use the stock headphones for the Vibrant. Ordered anyway.

I used stock ones..they were great. I havent used anything else so cant compare those with others.
The sound quality on these stock headphones is okay, but nothing spectacular. They are what you expect from a pair costing less than $20. They are quite nice for calls because it seems they are tuned for voice frequencies. For music, the low end rolls off much sooner as compared to higher quality headphones and are not as dynamic. This is the case compared to Woodees w/mic, Koss Porta Pros, UE TripleFi 10 and Grado 225i, all headphones in which I own at various price points. If you can get them for less than $10, I would say that is still a great value.
received the headset bought on ebay. I can confirm they are OEM manufactured by Samsung.
An alternative.
If you're interested in some mic'd headphones that are a good deal higher in quality without breaking the bank, MEElectronics's white CC51P in-ear monitors with microphone are on sale at Amazon for $50, down from the $80 range. I've used the non-mic'd version myself, and the sound quality nearly brought me to tears
If you google "176 review IEM", you'll find a treasure trove of information about in-ear buds, including pricing and value. MEElectronics is known for making excellent budget in-ear buds, with the CC51 and a151 being some of the best sub-100 ear buds on the market (according to the site, at least.)
The stock ones are quite decent actually. Esspcially with voodoo sound module
I use beats by dre however control talk doesnt work =(

I've never actually used the headphones that came with my Vibrant. Lol.
I had a pair of JLabs headphones, high quality, really durable, and $20.
Been using it for 1.5 Months, i know it's under some stress, but common, is it that cheap??
Are the edges stitched?
I have the same problem with mine, and I have heard of a lot others to with ruined flip cases. Poor quality.. I hope this dont reflect the quality of the actual phone..

This is my 3rd galaxy phone, never had ANY problems with them hardware wise.
So i'm not worried, they just didn't think the flip cover through when they designed it.
I don't think it's stitched, it's glewed, it's not real leather too, it's plastic.
The concept isn't that bad however the actual design is a real shame.
I can confirm the same worn out symptoms after 2 months of use.
The Note itself is fine.
The case is not made by Samsung and is probably contracted out to the lowest bidder. Granted that doesn't make it any better since we still spend a fair amount of money on accessories like this. But it doesn't really reflect on the actual Samsung device quality imo.

Theres a reason this case is offered freee every where.
For christ's sake, why won't any other company create the same case with higher quality material that doesn't leak glue?
not worth it even cheap
I just bought some stuff from amazon.co.uk sent to my UK address (as the idiots won't ship to Oz). I could have bought the stock Note case quite cheap but did not based on your experiences.
Hopefully reduced sales will get them thinking, but that is reaching, I guess.
Same here!
Original cover has worn out on the edges, so I have started looking for the good cover. Any good suggestions?
If it was 4$ id get 10 of them and change every 2 months. But the one i have cost 25$
I am happy i saved u some $$$ i doubt samsung cares about the flip cover.

Agreed. Btw I have seen them sell on eBay for ~$10 each (brown, blue, red, white), black ~$18
Can anyone recommend a good wireless charging kit for the s3, to buy in the UK. I've checked the sticky but I can't find any of them available to purchase and I don't want to buy a low quality on eBay.
Thanks

just out of curiousity, how do you know the ones on ebay are low quality?
They're usually the same pads from the same factories that make it anyways.
as i recommended to another member earlier, I would suggest getting just the receiver (the pad that fits inside the phone) and get the nokia lumia charger or something else.
Unless you prefer their custom back cases which means you wont be able to use any kind of case with it.

all I can say is alot of things are made in china... even electronics. maybe of the brand name stuff you buy are from china but w/ the company's sticker on it for the most part so in essence you're just buying straight from the manufacturer without the fancy sticker.
mine has been working fine so i can't complain
model?

Hi guys, I recently purchased a cx300ii for around $99 SGD, however, I read online that there were many fakes out there in the market and I am pretty concerned. I compared it with the genuine ones and mine didn't have much differences. However, there was one worrying thing about my earphones, its 3.5mm jack was silver plated, whereas in many other images, it was gold plated. So I was wondering if there were variants to this model...
Please advice D:

Fake for sure. It is obvious that there should not be any differences compared to real ones.

Hi,
I think we talked about the cases a lot. .. at least for the current being that are the cases....
What about other accessories?
Share your most used? Or special ones...
Something that will reach our experience with the tablet....

No other interesting? Even those that were used for old note 10.1?

It's bizarre, I have no idea what's going on with Samsung's accessory division this time around.... Barely any Samsung branded accessories a month after release for both the Note 10 and Note 3. They are slowly starting to trickle out if you're willing to hunt them down. But i still don't understand it, accessories are huge money makers, I can imagine how much they're losing out to cheap amazon and ebay case guys.
Good point! i would say great point!
I see it as integral part of service or support - whatever....
Missing it - is just missing quality !!
anyhow - other ideas even form eBay Amazon DealExtereme, aliexpress... and additional china made...?
Wow, it's already December and still no decent protective case for this tablet. This sucks as I cannot use this in my line of work without a protective case as I am always out in the field. I guess you can't blame 3rd party manufacturers as there are too many variations that comes out that they cannot recuperate from their investment.
