I want to make a new ROM but based on 2.14 cause of CRT effects not work in 2.26. I will try my best to copy it themes etc. If I like it I will do it?
So anyone just post link here:
no Cm7 or Cm9, Sense only.
like PS3 2.26 - 4.00 unhackable / 2.14 - 3.55 hackable most used.

I've downloaded several different ROMs today, and moved them to /sdcard. I wipe the phone and the cache, and then go to "install zip from sdcard" on Clockworkmod recovery. I've done this several times, and Virtuous Quattro is still here. I'm fairly certain I rooted my phone and everything when I initially installed VQ, so I'm not sure what the problem is.
(Please keep in mind I'm still relatively new to all this phone business.)

it flashed successfully but it does'nt boot? was'nt very successful then. those sense 3.5 roms are huge, all around 400mb so yh u will need an ext partition. like if u use CM7r2 hboot that has 145mb system then the other 250mb ish of the rom will be moved to ur ext partition. u could partition ur sdcard to 512mb, that should be more than enough as long as u dont crazy downloading apps, games etc etc. just flash the rom on stock hboot and that will leave ya more space on ur ext partition. theres a guide in my sig for partitioning by abaaaabbbb63
Yeah it flashed fine but get stuck on htc screen its only because my wifi tether stoped working on my customised euro skank

Hello,
I would like a little help with my desire. My desire is rooted and has a custom recovery. It also has a ext partition. It's on cooldroid right now. Anyways, now i'd like to take it to android 4.2.2 (non-sense). Due to the desire's performance, I'd like to install a custom kernel on it to improve it's performance. Please recommend me a kernel for 4.2.2 rom which has good performance. I'm going to go for cyanogen roms 4.2.2 with a custom kernal. Thank You!
Best kernel for any of the 4.2.2 Desire ROMs is the one that comes with the ROM.
