Sprint offering early upgrade to ex-GOLD premier 'till end of year.

It doesn't mention GOLD only in the ad, but from the comments, it appears it only applies to those that were gold (not Sero).
Me? I'm holding off until LTE devices come around.

I used my upgrade in July, I'm confused what all this means to me? Lol

I am with sprint for only 4 months and i am already a gold member. Do i get this upgrade or not?

I just found this out myself at the sprint store. I was really pissed at loosing my annual upgrade but will be getting 2 new epic touches tonight!

I had an upgrade available on 1/1/12. Then they took it off. I been meaning to call and ***** about it.

Curious what someone on the epic touch would "upgrade" to. The only phone competitive is the fruit phone.

Ill be upgrading my daughters optimus s to the MoPho tomorrow. They got em at Walmart for $78.

I'm very upset they cancelled the premier program I just turned premier gold a couple months ago.

how do you determine if your gold or not?

It's not necessarily gold premier, I have seen customers who were silver. Also it works for multiple lines on the account.
As far as I know, it is only available if you physically walk into a corporate store. I have verified that nss is not able to do it if there is an error in store.

I turned into a gold premier customer back in August (10 years)... I upgraded to my ET about one week after release. My account still shows that I am eligible for an upgrade on 9/1/2012.
My understanding is that after this next upgrade, I will then be on the 20 month schedule.

Yeah, they emailed me an hour ago. 5PM Swiss time, 11AM New York time...I'll have to order it over the phone and have it shipped home then here. I'm so glad T-mobile allows us to pay half upfront then the rest in $20 installments. I don't want to pay $700+ all at once right now.

2nd Note for $66

Pre-ordered 1st note for $175(100 premier discount and $25 instant credit). Ordered a second note for my wife Saturday night also for $175.
Today I found out that At&t has a promotion going on where if you buy 1 Samsung Galaxy Phone you get $100 off second phone. So I called At&t customer care and nicely asked about this. They confirmed the promotion then issued a $109 credit to my account.

No zero down mean you don't need to pay for it now. So instead of making you have down payment right now they put that payment toward the monthly payment plan.
Say you want S4, instead of 150 down and 20x24 totaling 630, you pay 0 down and 25x24 total of 600. $30 saving. Not bad. .
But phone like HTC one, you'll be paying 0 down and 25x24 total 600 instead of 80 down (Web)and 20x24 total of 560 normally. Cost you $40 more.
Over all tmobile is being aggressive lately. .

The only part I like is that it saves money on the S4 and that if you do Jump it can save you money there to if you like to buy a new phone every 6 month's.

That's annoying as hell.
I just talked to a Loyalty rep this afternoon to change plans and waive fees, who told me about this promotion. I asked him three separate times if the lack of down payment came back on the back end, by either increasing monthly payments or adding months, and every time he told me, No, it's $20 for 24 months.
I'm getting my Note II tomorrow, and I guess I'll see what happens with my next bill.

Do keep in mind that the only way to get the phone for zero down is to be "well qualified" if you had a deposit at start of service then you should have a discounted down payment

Also depends on which state you're in. I'm in California so I pay tax on the full retail price of the phone. Oregon I believe pays no tax. Just really all depends on the state

I switched from sprint a wk ago and went in this morning and was refunded $150 for one s4 and $150 bill credit for another. Also u have to b in the "A or B" credit bracket in order to qualify for the zero down. And for each line u open there is still a $50 charge for taxes. So 4 lines is $200 plus $10 per sim kit (new costomers).
I think thats about right.

I came from Sprint a week ago as well. Wife got a HTC One and I got the S4. I'm on the jump program and wondering if I should do you what you did. Was it hassle?

Not at all except for the wait. They r very slow at my store. BUT... When they refund the money u will get the$50 tax per phone back as well. BUT.. u will have to pay that back up front. Ull receive the refund 48-72 business days later.

Yes you do pay extra on the back end for it being no money down, but a lot of people do not want to pay a dime upfront so for them, this is good.

Trading in S3

Well, its been a fun ride here with all of you. But its time to kick it up a step and get the S4.
My trade in value is 220.00. I have the 32g S3. So I couldn't pass it up.

Mine isn't in mint condition and has a couple chips on a couple corners. So maybe I'll go the Craigslist route lol. Good to know though, I'll poke my head in a store tomorrow and see what they say. I'll post the results I come up with.

I had a upgrade bout 9 months ago...I wasn't charged a fee...just the taxes on the S4. But I have been with Tmobile for 12 years also.

That's why. If you've been with them for 8+ years, they make exception.
Friend of mine has a connection at T-Mobile and he tried to get it taken care of for me when customer service said no. First thing he asked was if I've been with them at least 8 years.

I also enrolled in the jump program. So I ended up spending around $60 today and I kept my GS3. They offered me $190 for it.

wait i thought with the JUMP! program, you had to trade in your old device?

Honestly, T-Mobile always sells phones a bit more expensive then they actually retail for.
If I had seriously wanted the S4 I'd root my S3 that's in flawless condition with a Balistick SG Maxx case, have it prerooted stock 4.1.2 and sell it for 350$. Then go on eBay turn around and buy the international unlocked version of the S4 for like 250$ more. It's more expensive out right, but much cheaper in the long run.
Been on my mother's T-Mobile phone line since I was a kid and had a Motorola RAZR v3. So more than 12 years for sure when she started using T-Mobile. Somewhere in 1999 I fink.
