Hello everybody!
I have a question for my Wildfire S. I don't know how to turn off the vibrating when I press a button the keyboard during I write a message.
Where I find this option on the Cyanogenmod 10?
Please help me...
you can find it on keyboard setting in
Settings -> Language and Input -> Android keyboard Setting -> Un tick the vibrate on key press option...
Common for all roms...
Settings -> Language & keyboard -> Touch Input -> Text input -> Vibrate when typing
As seen on my device.
In case of trying to find this option on Stock ROM.
Thank you very much! Alone, I never find this option!
Now it is good.
:victory:
Please, help me!
I am updating my ROM (CM10) yesterday and the home, menu, back and search button don't light.

check whether it is working on recovery..... If working the try reflashing the rom....
you nees to enable auto brightness for that... the keys wont light if u manually set the brightness
Thank you for your information.
First, I am wiping all phone and update ROM. Starting the keys are light, after the screen off the keys off too.
When I on the screen the keys don't light. If the brightness is automatically, if manually...

AFAIK the lights are "off ROM territory", they turn on when the room is dark and the screen brightness intensifies & vice versa
Ok, I look when I go out lunch, because I am working and the phone there is no with me.
So....the keys doesn't working...just I set manually brightness, but if I turn off screen and turn on it doesn't working again.

Is it possible to turn off the vibrate feature that occours during startup and other actions like typeing etc.?
Thank you.
Language & keyboard > touch input > text input > vibrate when typing will turn off vibrating when using the keyboard. Not too sure how or of you can turn off the vibration during startup.

Thank you.
I don't have that, or anything, under accessibility settings.
AFAIK, only CyanogenMod (and CM-based ROMs) will carry that setting. I haven't seen it in Sense or Ruby.
THANK YOU!!!
I too enabled this feature thinking it would be really nice. But I soon found that if you put the phone on speaker and have one of those auto-select prompts when you call a company and the screen times out you are basically screwed because you can't get the screen to come back. Pushing the power button ends the call.
I was running a Cognition Rom.
Adjusting your volume didn't wake your screen?

Agreed, I am curious as to why you would want to remove the lock screen.
in order to avoid vibration, is my cause
It's possible to turn off vibration in the sound settings. Go to settings, sound, vibration and select "Never"

doesn't work for lock screen and also for four softkeys
Install "No Lock" from market.
I just find it annoying that I have to slide my finger each time i want to unlock it, I just want to press the unlock button and have it go straight to the home screen instead of going to the lock screen.

To turn of vibration of the four buttons on the bottom of your phone, just turn of Haptic Feedback in your settings.

I'm running the AOKP JB rom and vibration for key presses and other things is just way to strong. I don't see an option for haptic feed back anywhere either. Is there and app or something that will allow me to change it?
Vibrate on touch is in sound settings. Try that also language & input for keyboard vibrate settings
