Hi there i hope some one can help.
I have a htc desire and i updated it to froyo, has i did this i also got new software that i wanted to try, like Task Manager and Startup Auditor.
I was under the impression that i could kill some of the apps that started on boot, but i think i migth have a problem because time to time (like once or twice a day) it restarts the senseUI (i think its a reset white screen with HTC writen and the senseUI boot).
So here is the list of apps that iam currently kiling on boot with Startup auditor:
* aCar (not from froyo or HTC)
* Facebook
* Facebook for HTC sense (i alredy tried to turn this one off but still it has the problem)
* Flicker
* FM Radio
* Gallery
* Google Mail
* gTasks
* Maps
* Music
* News
* News and Weather
* PC Synchronization
* Peep
* Stocks
* YouTube
In the Task Manager
I never kill (Ignore list)
* Calendar Snooze
* Messages
* Startup Auditor
* 3G Watchdog
* Foot Prints (it keeps on starting again and again so i added to the ignore)
* Google Partner Setup (dont know what this is so i ignored it)
I hope some one can help me.. Maby telling me what from that list i cannot kill
Or if there is some other way to kill the apps...

I think it puts the white load screen on if you kill an app thats linked to a widget on the active home screens. therefore be careful of killing news and weather apps. I use Advanced Task Killer and have no probs
the only widgets that i have are:
clock with weather and calendar all from htc power control...
I am realy realy lost here... It does not make sense that htc makes some aplications run on boot like stock if i dont use them...
Say, has anyone been having a problem with the Clock Package? I tried to customize the alarm sounds , but it asks for an alarm sound to be selected from a ringtone. The folder is supposedly the "alarm" folder in system -> media -> audio -> alarms, but it won't register any added alarm sounds. I've put in .mp3 and .ogg files, but neither are recognized by the selection menu. Do the audio files need to have a certain time/size limit to be considered valid options? Does the app itself need to be modified?

Sadly, the new S6 and S6 edge comes with pre-installed Whatsapp. Which prevents the installation of any other Whatsapp MOD, such ash Whatsapp+ or others.
BUT NOT ANYMORE! Thanks to Whatsapp MOD by (Archit Jan), I was able to find a way to install a MODED Whatsapp with all privacy mods and visual mods on the S6 and S6 EDGE! WITHOUT ROOT OR UN-INSTALLATION of the original Whatsapp.
The new APP is Called WhatsMapp SOLO, and what makes it different than other MODS, is that it can be installed next to the original Whatsapp. ]
So Basically, you can have 2 numbers on your phone, if you want to.

How to Install properly (without losing chats or media):
1- Open the Original Whatsapp (pre-installed)
2- Go to settings → Chat settings → Back up Chats (do this 2-3 times)

4- Back up Chats (one more time)
5- Close Whatsapp from Recents and Turn off WIFI & Mobile DATA (in order not to receive new messages)
6- Now, Go to Settings (the phone settings) → Applications → Whatsapp → Disable
7- Install WhatsMapp SOLO apk
8- Verify your number
9- Restore Chats from Backup
10- BAM!! Here you have a Whatsapp MOD with all Privacy MODS! (Hide Last seen, Hide Blue ticks, etc...)
11- Don't forget to Press Thanks

Read the OP correctly and then come back.
1- Whatsapp doesn't let you freeze your LAST SEEN while opening the app itself
2- YOU can SEE other ppl blue tick when they read your message.
3- IF you educated yourself a little bit more before commenting, you would've appreciated other people's work!
4- You're welcomed as a new member to the XDA-community. But please, other members work hard to get these apps and things to you. Have some respect! or at least criticize respectfully (helpful feedback)!

There's a small circle on the bottom-right (has a plus sign) of the main screen (chats screen).. click on it and then you'll have two options
The privacy mods
And the visual mods
WhatsApp wasn't pre-installed on my s6 edge?

Good start. Crashes whenever the mod options are used.
Can anyone confirm that it actually works?
Mods do work but WA crashes when I want to forward a Picture .

I have reported to them. They said known bug and would be fixed soon.
