Anyone know any cool keyboards that I can download from the play store or other sources? I want a simple one similar to the jellybean keyboard but one that can be customized to be a different color or other such customizations. Thanks

SwiftKey is what you want, that keyboard is amazing.
Even with two languages enabled at once it will pick right words (atleast for me).

SwiftKey is the best keyboard. Been using it for the past 18mos.

+1 on swiftkey but .....
What could be better than the stock keyboard with its swipe functions tho?
Swagged out of my NeXus⁴ using XDA Premium
+1 to the swift keyboard they also have a beta swipe keyboard called flow.

SwiftKey Flow. Best of both worlds and is in beta for a few trial.

I can't for the life of me get the android keyboard to work on an HD sense ROM. It installs but as soon as you touch a key it FCs.. I know there's other keyboards that would work like swift keyboard, and whatnot, but my preferred choice is stock android KB. Any help/suggestions? TIA.

and for .99 - bargain. Still like SwiftKey but 1.5 version of Swype is very nice. Best voice recognition around with Dragon Nuance.

Just a heads up for Swype Beta users, the play store Swype version is a lot more accurate and faster than Beta, and for 99 cents, it's a sure deal!

I don't know but for some reason swype lags on my t989 and n7. Especially after keypresses. Has anybody else had this problem?

It should? Under settings/language and input?

Unfortunately the stock keyboard doesn't autocorrect unless you are swiping. I've used both the Google keyboard and thumb keyboard from the playstore.

Does anyone know if it's possible to have the Google keyboard (AOSP-like) from the play store, with similar modifications to the cyanogenmod variant on a Samsung-based ROM(Omega)?
I'm so used to using long-press for punctuation, symbols and the like.
Thanks!

I don't think you can edit the keyboard to have that functionality.

Bummer. Any idea how it's done on the cyanogenmod and derivative ROMs?
