PDAir Series 2 for Xoom?

PDAir stuff looks really nice, but is a little too expensive for me. Check out the shipping charges for the ebay ones, with shipping included they weren't much cheaper last time I looked.

So far this is the best looking case I have seen. I sent an email to them asking for a picture of it in a "typing angle" but haven't gotten a response. I can see how the typing angle works on the version 1 but I'm not sure on the version 2.
If anyone here has this case maybe you can post a pic of the different angles not shown on the vendor website.

I am also interested in seeing more pics of the PDair. This is easily the best case I have seen (maybe the Zenus ones will be nice, but they are taking their time).

If the design is similar to others like kevikev case, then I would go for kevikev case ..
Would be interested if you have to insert your xoom upside down like kevikev or they invent a better idea !!

Upside down is a showstopper as I haven't found a DLNA-compatible video player that rotates when the XOOM is upside down.

Whether you have it propped up in the landscape veiwing angle, or propped in the landscape typing angle, the screen remains with the vrz logo on top. I have only used it a little so far, but have not had a situation where I had to view the screen with vrz logo on the bottom. You do have to have the case open to access the charging port though. Or you can just insert the xoom upside down in order to expose the charging port while the case is closed. I think overall it was designed pretty well.

After my first disapointing buy from ebay i bought this "sexy"
synthetic leather case.
Its weight is 290 grams.
Is a very-very slim case and when it closed, the case is tightly fixed on the tablet.
It has 3 deep grooves for standing and the tablet is very stable in these positions.
The philosophy of this case is "to not hiding nothing from the tablet when you use it."
On the back side there is a gentle opening for the camera.
It smells like leather.
The close clip aplly a good force to keep the case closed.
Every button or socket of the tablet is accesible with closed case
And finally i am happy, and this is the most important

I must say the case looks really nice!
I was wondering about the 3 viewing angles though - do they firmly support the Tab? Would hate to buy it and then find out it slips and falls out when I set it up on one of the angles (I saw that happen before...). Also, is it possible to use this case to prop your Tab up when you put it in your lap (in bed or something similar)? Or is it too flimsy?
And do you feel the extra weight when you carry the tab around? I really love how light it is right now, you don't even notice you have it in your bag (with the standard samsung pouch on) and it's really easy to hold it in one hand and typing with the other if you're walking around the house.

The gaps for the 3 viewing angles are deep enough, and yes you can use it in your lap, my wife do it often.

is still light it is just 290 grams more.
but if you want to use it with one hand, i think that the best way is
to hold it in portrait like a book because the total weight is about 850 grams

Isn't it the same size? If it is, it should fit... can't help you out there though as I have a 7500 one.

For people trying to find one from the UK...
I purchased a look a like case from here:

I was struggling to find it as cheap as in the US for example.
The one from the above link, seem to be very good so far. All viewing angles work great, both on a flat surface and on my lap. The typing position is my most used.
'Leather' quality seems good so far. Of course it is going to add some weight, but not really an issue for me. ALL ports/buttons are fully accessible, inc charging when case is closed.

For me, i attached a charm around my phone's case between the camera and secondary microphone holes. Its nice since it doesn't force you to undo the charm whenever you are pulling out the battery door out =] all you do is remove the case and presto!

If you have one of the many Androidified Cruzer Lite case (with embossed Andy on the back) there's provision for a cell phone strap on one of the top corner.

There's no loop for a strap because it's not a clam shell phone, and nothing could be worse for the screen than precariously dangling it from your wrist/hip/purse to get banged around by whatever your body comes into contact with when you're walking around.
That's a $500 phone that you're considering hanging off of your body for the world to see, held on by a single strap. It's smaller than a purse, making it easier to steal, and worth more than most people make in a week. Think about that for a moment.
But if you're really that interested, case manufacturers often sell cases that come with a loop for attaching a strap. Google it.

But all other Samsung smartphones have strap holes..... The Galaxy Nexus seems to be the only exception.

I would just duct tape it to my hand.

If you get one of the cruzer lite cases as stated above, you dont have to drill or use a hole that it wasnt meant for. It has it on the upper right (if your phone's screen is facing you) corner.

As I am new here, I am not allowed to post links... Anyway, I saw a nice post by a guy in Japan with his brand new Docomo Galaxy Nexus. And in one of the pictures, you can see where he attached a strap to the small screw in the upper right hand corner above the SIM card.
If you search for "GALAXY NEXUS SC-04D で今日やった作業" you might be able to find it....

I think the fact of it being a $500.00 phone is why the OP wants a strap. I have never thought that they were solely for carrying the phone around, but to keep it from hitting the deck if it slips out of your hand while in use. Kind of the same way wii controllers have a strap to prevent you from impaling your TV.

I found a case I really like but I can only seem to find it on australian ebay who won't ship internationally. It doesn't have any brand name that I can see on the pictures so I'm having a very hard time finding it elsewhere.

Purposely chose this case because of even the smallest details like the flap being on the wallet side so that it doesn't slop down and cover the screen when it's tilted and the ID slot having a hole to easily take out the ID and stuff like that thanks though!

Won't it bother you that the flap sticks up, and in the way of the screen while in the watching position. Also, won't it bother you that it's going to be so much quieter with the speakers covered up by such a thick case? Just my thoughts for your consideration before you part with any cash.

I'd rather have the flap stick up as I could just hold it down with anything or even fold it back and hold it down with the case itself. If it's dangling from the top there won't be a way to hold the flap back.
Why would I ever use the speaker with the case covered up If I wanted to watch a video or something the case would be open anyways

Like I mentioned in the previous post I was looking for the exact model or a case that has exact same functionality (ID card holder etc)

Fair point, but the speakers are used for notifications too.

Bike mounts?

Good day all. So, I have been browsing bike mounts and wondered if anyone had suggestions on what would work great for the 7 Pro. Armor-x and Quad Lock were the two I saw. Quad Lock has a great reputation but only a universal mount. Anyone familiar with them? If anyone has other suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

I had the quadlock for my Note 9 and loved it. I looked into getting the universal adapter but it seems to be picky with what kind of material the case is made of. I instead went to a top tube bag/phone holder just to keep my phone out of my pocket and backpack. Let me know what route you end up going.

This looks very promising! I really like how fast you can remove it from the mount which was the only thing I didn't like about quadlock.

Will your phone lie flat on a table with the armor-x case? The quadlock case looks like its bulging at the attachment part, so it seems like the phone will be raised up in the centre, and if you tap the left side of the screen, I would assume the phone would be wiggling.
I like to have my phone lie flat on a table when I'm using it (too big to hold all the time,lol), so if the phone is wiggling while using it, thats a no for me then.

100% not lay perfectly flat. It does rock side to side if you touch the screen to wake it or even maybe reply to a text

This one holds really well. It will cover up some of the edges though. I don't remember if I already tried the OnePlus 7 pro on it but the OnePlus 5 easily fit it and as the OnePlus 7 pro is merely bigger im pretty sure it will fit.

If the mount case is waterproof, that would be awesome, but I'm not sure if there's such a case that can be combined with the ability to allow video capturing.
