Screen protector with otterbox defender - Galaxy S III Accessories

Hey guys I was wondering if you could recommend me a good screen protector to use with the otterbox defender case assuming that I knock out the one I have on my phone now.

Ive got a cheapo xtremeguard, same as zagg pretty much if not better. The bad thing about the defender protectors, along with every other case with attached screen protector is that eventually dust/dirt will collect under the plastic and scratch the screen.

Would the Defender (or even Commuter) work well with a Zagg HD? I worry about the sides peeling up.

The defender work well with full scree protectors. Since the case overlaps the edges quite a bit. I think the commuter is the same

I'm using spigen nano clear , and you can buy a case for back

I also use the defender and I use the screen protecter that comes / attached with it
But I also put a universal screen protecter on the screen its self.
So if dirt or dust ever gets under screen ( which in 4 years never has happen) my screen wont get any marks or scratches

Commuter and zagg work great. The case covers the edges so no worries there.
I recommend the commuter over the defender. I work construction and my phone is fine. The defender was too bulky and the soft rubber on the outside made it tough to get into and out of my pocket.
Just throw the POS screen protector that the commuter comes with in the garbage IMO

Zagg HD screen protecters

Just saying the are pretty awesome, almost feels and looks like glass.

They are pretty good, but take a look @ Best Skins Ever. They are pretty much the same protectors @ rock bottom prices.
Look into Clearplex. They they should be known a lot more amongst people. Its just better than an over rated zagg (not hatin, just sayin).

And the ZAGG HD is NOT like the original ZAGG.. This thing is beautiful. My sister was playing with my phone and told me to get a screen protector for it lol.. She said the screen felt natural and she couldn't feel or see the screen protector..
Mind you side by side you can tell..

I got one in the 50% discount also. This is my FIRST Zagg and I'm a bit nervous about the wet application process. Can anyone give me their best tips/advice on the process, i.e. what to avoid, etc?
Thanks in advance.

The best way I've found to install the screen protectors is by spraying the phones screen, then spray the top of the shield, your fingers, peel it off the backing, and then spray the adhesive side of the shield. It'll give you plenty of liquid to position the shield and since your fingers are wet it won't stick to you/leave your fingerprint on the screen. When using the squeegee on the HD shield spray that as well and use very short strokes starting from the center working your way out. They're thicker then the regular ones and can get very small bubbles under them that are hard to get out without causing a run in the shield.

me too. love it
I have a Zagg HD on mine and hate it.
That being said it is the best protector I have tried, and have ended up using Zagg protectors on my s1, s2, s3, tab 8.9, tab 10.1, and nexus 7.
I hate the plasticy feel, the orange peel, and the fact I rarely have one make it longer than 4 or 5 months before needing replacement.
Again on the plus I have never had a single question or problem when getting it replaced.
My verdict is this;
I hate screen protectors, but they are nessessary. Zagg makes one of the, if not the best one out there, their customer service and product support is excellent.
try the XOSkins screen protector. Way better without the orange bs.

Yes for a month or 2. I have so many indentions in mine it is driving me crazy. Going to the glas.t.

Zagg HD and the Note 2

I installed the Zagg HD screen protector on my new Note 2 yesterday, and I will tell you it should not have been cleared for use with the Note 2. It is so soft that it feels like it's ribbed from using swype with the S-Pen... and I don't press hard at all. What's worse, it's effecting the accuracy of the S-Pen itself, as I find I need to press harder. I would not recommend this screen protector for use with our amazing device. Really looking like I might have to go naked unless I can find a very S-Pen friendly protector!
PS
Best Buy Mobile offered to exchange the protector for me and install it tomorrow, an offer which I am going to accept and deal with until I find the best alternative.
I have the extreme guard $4 body and screen. Everything works flawless.

I made the mistake of believing the saleslady at Best Buy Mobile that the new Zagg HD was just fine with the S-Pen... first mistake. I have a Rearth screen protector waiting for me at home once I return from this business trip... but ya, I am looking forward to the upcoming Glas protector as well. Any word on it's release date?
I was on the same boat I bought the rubber screen.. shouldve posted a warning but got lazy :/
And I asked sgp and all they said so far was that it was a wip... and blah blahs
The glass protector is the best doe cause it feels as it were naked <3
But ill make a thread when I hear about the protector

I'm using the zagg smudge proof protector from best buy and it is not rubbery, doesn't dent or scratch and is true full screen. So far I'm extremely happy with it. Your fingers slide across the screen better with it than naked also there's no orange peel effect either.
If anyone is interested IMHO this is the best zagg to put on.

Yea I know what you mean many of my friend's didn't know I actually had a screen protector on since it looks real clear and real good one of my friend just got his GN2 today I just came from his house he envy my screen protector so he's thinking about trying it out. Idk but me I dont like to keep switching screen protectors constantly so thats why im trying this ghost armor see how long it will last me. The cheap sprint SP lasted only a week it was full of scratches from the s-pen and it started to annoy me when I lookbst my screen to view the web or videos I would see all these scratches on the SP so I just decided to try ghost.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
I bought a few cheap ones online, but with my gel case, the edges of the screen protector are lifting up (from squeezing the case).
Do some of the other brands hold their edges better? Or do some wrap around the side?
I guess I could trim them, but I know I won't like the look after.

Looking for a slim grip case

I'm looking for a case for my s3. I have an otterbox which I love. The other day though, I took it off because my phone was overheating. I MISS this slimness.
Here's the issue, I dropped my phone in the past. On the very top left of the phone, there's a small crack. The otterbox defender covers that corner with that lip in the plastic. I'm looking for something with a grip so the phone doesn't fall again as well.
Thanks in advance
