Im giving my sister my old EVO that I no longer use..
The rom I have on it now is Fresh but wondering if there is an ICS rom for this phone yet? And if so which do you guys think is the most stable??
THANKS!
I'm going to get it unlocked to have it work on METROPCS, don't know if that matters or not?
THANKS
In my experience, Team DIRT's CM9 is probably the most stable
In my humble opinion, Decks Reloaded. No issues at all with that rom itself
Decks, Yes
also firepower by blaz1nr
Nitrous by raafaell
or ghost edition by MBQsniper (one of my personal favs)
Those 4will definately get you what you want,,,Later
Hello! This question has probably been asked, but I put the title in and it didn't come up in similar threads.....
I just got my SGS3 a couple of weeks ago and I love it so far. I am currently looking for a nice deodexed, debloated Jellybean ROM. I am looking for one that has great battery life, sleek features and preferably everything in working condition with no bugs. Which is the best? Which are you currently using? I ask your opinions please w/ supporting statements as to why you love your ROM. Thanks ahead of time for the answers!

I'm running that Rom as well but I found a lil fault in it. It shows graphics trails on certain apps and almost does a flicker on the swype pad when texting.

Well I'm running ParanoidAndroid 2.16 at the moment and it runs excellent, I get about 22-26 hours per charge. I ran CM10 but wasn't really impressed and battery was going quickly. Don't forget to hit Thanks if you found my comment useful
Hi community!
Im looking for a blazing fast rom...ive tried xBlack, Aokp, paranoid android, cm10...(4.1.2!)
And im wondering if it pays to upgrade to 4.2+. I dont need the new gimmicks ( lockscreen widgets and so on) but i want a faaaaaast and battery friendly rom for daily use. Theme chooser is necessary if theres no dark version available.
Can you recommend anything?
I tried cataclysm a few weeks ago and Rasbeanjelly...but they didnt really convince me.
Is 4.2 in general slower than 4.1.2?

In general 4.2 stutters less, but on the 1st touch 4.1 is smoother, if you're looking for custom ROMs, go for the 4.1 based ROMs because the 4.2s are really unbalanced in terms of smoothness
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Stock 4.1.2, rooted with faux123 kernel has been good to me
try cm10.1 unofficial ones, personally i would always go for the newest one 4.2.1
I use MMuzzy's 4.2.1 and have no complaints. MODs are available from kmame for the look, there's a nice quick reply stand alone you can bolt on if you want it like me. As close to stock as you'd like or as far from it... I get 15 hours with full bore push email and about a day and a half with pull every 20 minutes....
Let me know if you have any questions.
Factory ROM 2.2

Hi everyone,
I'm relatively new to Android and most definitely new to rooting, custom ROMS, and this forum. I switched from the iPhone 4s to the Galaxy Note 3 about 6 months ago and I couldn't be happier.
When I had the iPhone I was constantly "tinkering" with it as I was always jailbroken. With the Galaxy Note 3 and with Android in general, there so much customization out of the box that I didn't feel the need to root/install a custom ROM right away. Well, now that I've owned my device for several months now I'm getting that urge to explore some more and see what else this bad boy can do. Hence my post.
After some research I've settled on 2 ROMs, Wicked ROM v5 and DarthStalker v6. I was hoping to get some feedback\input from anyone who has used either of these ROMs (preferably both ) and find out what your experience was like. Battery life, performance, etc., etc.. Any issues like Bluetooth not working or apps force closing or any workarounds that you had to use to get something to work? I'm sort of leaning towards the Darthstalker ROM as it seems to be better documented but I didn't want to rule out Wicked ROM.
Also, I'm assuming Wicked ROM v5 is based on Jellybean (4.3)? The reason I ask is because I couldn't find it anywhere in the developer's notes.
Thanks in advance,
Art

Definitely Wicked I regret updating to KitKat because Wicked v5 was extremely smooth and had an awesome battery life. Not to bash DarthStalker, but I onced tried flashing it and it got stuck at the Samsung logo.
At the end of the day, it comes down to your personal choice. For me, it was Wicked
I'm sorry OP, but we do not allow rom comparison threads here. It causes a lot of issues sometimes between members. Your best bet is to read about them, flash them, and try them. Thank you for understanding.
Hello Guys. I recently Inherited an Evo 4G and lately I've been playing with this bad boy
Recently i was using TroNit's unofficial Xenon HD for the evo bit I ran into some issues and kinda soft-briced my phone but now everything fine and I'm running Evervolv with TWRP 2.8 but I wanted a rom which is stable, smooth, has good battery life and is at least jelly bean. Now I've searched the entire forums for a rom but most of the good ones are stored on hosting websites that have gone down
Pls tell me which rom do you prefer for the dying yet still alive Evo!
