Random shutdowns - HTC One X

Hey guys so I have a problem
I have constant shutdowns. I'm currently using Blade ROM and I would post this there but it is happening to me on every ROM that I have used so far. I'm running hboot 1.36 and I had those problems on my older hboot to. So can someone tell me what is happening I don't know how to fix it and I am rooted so I don't believe that my carier (T-mobile Croatia) would accept my phone for the warranty. Can someone help me I am desperate and this shutdowns don't just happen when I am on low battery but they happen random. Not reboots but shutdowns. Does somebody have or had this problem and if someone did how did he fix it. Please help me. Is that a hardware problem or software can somebody help me please

Help someone please

Wipe/factory reset and clean install, do not restore system apps using titanium.

It doesn't matter I wiped many times when I am installing a new ROM, but when I go in HBOOT factory reset it sends me to recovery

Pull the battery. Put the battery in. Hold the volume down button and hit power on, which will take you to recovery. Do a wipe data/factory reset and reboot.

That's my suggestion too. Get into recovery, do another wipe, (factory, cache, dalvik) then reflash the ROM.
Ok Sir I will do it but Can you give a link with the Reflash.

I had this same problem and it was driving my nuts, i had the phone exchanged and it still kept happening. after troubleshooting apps and blaming roms, I found the problem, it was the case, I don't know why but sense i removed the rubber protective case the problem went away.
I hope that helps

I did try that but always say the phone its not conected i put the phone in recovery and hboot usb and fast boot and get nothing always the phone its not conected.

Accidently formatted everything eg, formatted boot, data etc

As the title says I accidentally formatted everything on the phone so now when ever I turn it on it goes straight to boot loader, I can occasionally access the recovery menu.
I have no idea what to do =/
Run your original RUU or PB99IMG.zip
There's many threads about doing this..

Did you take a note of your original rom details?
Was it branded?
Which country etc....
Not really got much to go on at the moment.....

If you can't supply that, create a goldcard and flash the WWE RUU. there's many threads on here to tell you how to do that.

I don't get it???
if you can get to recovery why don't you just flash a rom? unless you don't have a custom recovery.
How did you 'accidentally' erase everything out of curiosity?
This also crossed my mind.
As well as 'is it stolen?'.....

Well basically, It wouldnt turn on it, it kept restarting and I thought reformatting it may have fix it
It didn't
Cant I just send it back to Orange?

What are you even doing on this forum? This is not a helpdesk for people screwing up who don't read and don't want to read. Yes send it back to Orange, just don't be suprised if they charge you for it.
There has been a lot of information given and I don't think many people will help you if you are to lazy to find out what everything means. One last tip, google.

HTC One X stuck in airplane mode and no imei.....

My friend gave his one x to fix it for him. The problem is that the phone is stuck in airplane mode but in status bar it doesnt show an airplane.... It shows empty signal bar with an x as if theres no service......and when i try turn it off it says it stucks at turning off , leave it for hours and it will still be the same..... I tried rebooting the phone, factory reset, installed custom rom, RUU and i did all kinds of wipe and format in cwm and still the same. I have searched a lot about this i found some people with the same situation but i didnt find any solution installing other roms and kernels does not fix the problem...... I want to know if this is a hardware issue or software issue which i think it is..... And if theres a solution for it.....
Thank You.

I got the same problem, after flashing hboot 1.31 for JB Custom ROM. Now my phone can't turn on wifi and airplane mode always stays on "turning off". No way to go back to hboot 1.12 or 1.28 reflashing 1.31 two and three times and same situation. Tried 2 different custom roms different kernels... Done some google search and forum search. Any solution?

Switch the power off and hold the power and volume down button for a few seconds until the soft touch keys (bottom three) flash a few times. I had this once and couldn't get it to work until i simulated a 'battery pull', which the above action imitates.
Hope it fixes this issue.

No, it doesn't help. If reboot helped it'd be stupid treat, but it's not. I can't send my phone for warranty repair, because hboot 1.31, even it's relocked. If I wait for RUU that matches the hboot and CID HTC_032 may be it will solve my problem or at least my warranty will not be void.
Doc_j is right rebooting doesnt help..... But my situation is a little diferrent i did not install any hboot . The phone was untouched when it got stuck in airplane mode.... Everything was stock i tried factory reset b4 changing anything but it didnt work. Doc_j did u try a stock kernel ? Or RUU ? Anyway if u find a solution plz let me know.... GL

Solved! My problem was the boot.img I flashed boot.img for ARHD 13 before and that was the reason. So after flashing boot.img for 15.0 all is OK.

Bakert12, try flashing hboot 1.31, unlock your bootloader, flash clockworkmod recovery, install previously downloaded and copyed to the SD card Android revolution HD 15.0 zip file from the recovery and finally flash boot.img for ARHD15.0 via fastboot. I think you have my problem, no matter how it happend

Hi All,
I have the same problem.
Did you find the solution?
No sorry i returned the phone to my friend..... I think its a hardware issue... But try what doc_j said it might work if u got the problem by flashing a custom rom but if it appeared in a stock rom then i think its hardware related... Good Luck !

I had similar problem. For me helped erasing cache partition via fastboot (fastboot erase cache) or wipe cache in recovery.

Fastboot erase cache not helped.
I flashed a new Revolution HD15, everything is fine except mobile network not available, and IMEI is unknown.
Any idea?
What about warranty?
Just had the same problem....
I just restarted the phone in "safe mode" let it sit like that for about half an hour and the restarted it.
That did the trick for me.

I manage to install a rom after all wipping and formatting.but it keeps rebooting .sometimes it rebbot all the way and then opening an application cause it to reboot.and sometimes it just going through a bootloop to no end.
waiting for an answer.

then try running a ruu and see if the phone boots normally. If the ruu is flashed with no errors and still does not boot then you have a hardware issue.

[Q] Indefinite boot screen, regardless of ROM

Hi guys,
Hope you can help with the below. Ive recently bought this phone to be used globally.
I had unlocked (HTC dev), rooted, and ROMed, and it was running fine for a few days.
However, it was starting to freeze up on me and i pulled battery to prevent it from overheating. When I got home, I tried reflashing a few roms on it, but regardless of rom, I can't get past boot animation. I have tried with and without, fastboot flash boot boot.img, but either way has not helped get past bootloop.
I had wiped everything, even formatted the SD card but still nothing works. The phone is able to get to HBOOT and recovery, but am I SOL on this? Could it be something screwy with the partitions?
Any ideas? Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Go to my dev thread n download antivenom sdw give that a shot then reinstall rom
