Since the jelly bean update, everytime I use a headset and press the play/pause/answer call button, it removes silent/vibration and the notification sound comes out of the phone speakers instead of headset. It's really annoying and it makes it hard listening to music at work.
I have this issue on official and AKOP roms. Anyone has this issue and knows how to fix it?

This problem I am having seemed to start with WM5 AKU 2.3 and is still happening to me in WM6. If someone calls me, and I push the button on my bluetooth headset to answer, my ringtone plays for about a half a second to the person calling me. They usually complain about a loud noise when I answer the phone. I have discovered if I push the answer soft key on my phone instead, it doesn't play the ringtone, but it takes a little longer for my headset to pick up. This happened with my old headset (Plantronics Discovery 640) and my current headset (Jawbone). Has anyone else experienced this problem? If there was some way to adjust the delay for when the headset picks up, I think it would fix this problem because when pressing the key on the phone to answer there is a delay, but when pressing the button on the headset, there isn't.
Thanks...Brian
I work in a quiet office, and listen to Google Music over my bluetooth headset (903BackBeat... altec lansing?)
On my old phone (G2 with CM7), rings and notifications and such would sound ONLY over the bluetooth when paired. Nobody was disturbed!
With my T989 (using teamchopstick's CM9), rings and notifications sound BOTH on the speaker and the bluetooth. So, I have to put the phone on silent to not disturb anyone -- music still works, but now i never know when i get messages.
Is there any setting to get CM9 to have the bluetooth sound behavior i want: silent phone, all sounds over bluetooth while paired?
Alternatively, is there any other ICS ROM that will let me do this? At least my G2 had a notification light that i could keep an eye on for messages -- there's no BLN ICS ROM for the T989 yet so I'm stuck!
Thanks all.

arg, i wish -- but vibrate is still too loud! BZZZZZZZT against the table, in my pocket... no good.
Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but when my Note II is set to mute or vibrate, the sound switches back on whenever I single-press the button on the supplied earphones. Is this some bizarre setting somewhere, or is it a known fault, or is it just me?
--update-- When listening to music and I press the button, the sound momentarily comes out of the speaker on the phone itself before pausing & switching to unmuted. Looks like a problem with PowerAmp; doesn't do it with the stock player.
Is anybody having this problem? When I am playing music over bluetooth to my car stereo or to bluetooth headphones, I can't hear any of my notification sounds.
The music gets quieter for a second or two and if I really pay attention I can just barely make out the sound of the notification. But really the only way I know that I had a notification is that the music volume turns down for a bit.
With Lollipop, everything worked as expected. The volume of the music would turn down and the notification would play loudly. I'm not sure why this change happened.
Any ideas?
I'm having the same issue. I've found that if I turn up the volume DURING the notification the phone suddenly realizes the volume is too low and cranks it up for that one instance.
Hi, I have the headset that comes with the phone (MH-EX300AP) and im having a very annoying bug, if I use the stock music app, the physical button on the headset has a 2 second delay when I press it.
Only happens on the stock music app, I also use Huawei music app and it reacts instantly.
halp!
