stock rom is the best for battery!!!

Any JB Sense ROM will likely have similar battery life, and usually better than ICS or AOSP.
Everything else is FUD.

Try them out, and make your choice.
This depends in you. There is no "best" Rom.
If you like the sense UI you can use "Revolution HD" mod (no visual changes). The "leedroid mod" and the "chameleon rom" are tweaked with slight changes but based on sense.
For me i'm a fan of cyanogen. I'm using Domination mod and i'm happy with it.
But not all features are working.
Maybe u can use MIUI this is no sense mod. For me it was too colorful and has less configuration options then cyanogen.
Hope I could help.
Cheers

There is no best rom try them and find what you like. Thread will be closed by mod
i been trying couple of them insertcoin.sux, i tried slim.ics it has wifi and camera problem i use this chamelon now but it drains my battery and the users that use it wont admit it so stock rom is the best for now i am going to revert it back

Leedroid with sense or without is the best IMO. Leedroid 6.4 with stock kernel is the best on battery so far that i've tested. It was my daily driver, I decided to try out maximus because of the new HTC Base leak and radio.
But yea, I've tried almost all of them and I think Leedroid 6.4 is one of best for performance and the best battery life.
Maximus is looking good with the new base though. Tomorrow will have a full day usage on full charge.

People each have different experiences Try them out yourself. But for me, ncx kernel has the best battery for me so far. ROM doesn't seem to matter that much to me because I delete all the junk manually
I had some nice days with ncx and cm9 but then from nothing battery stats went down... If i flash hboot 1.31 will it help to my battery. I read somewhere that hboot can help.

You cannot have both at same time: heavy gaming will drain battery significantly, and good battery comes with sacrifying certain performance.
- If you prefer gaming, try XM kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136731
- Good battery life, try Alex V kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2226360
Also, make some tweaks (under/overclock) of cpu/gpu to best suits your needs, but do with caution as wrong settings can damage your phone.

Oh my...thank you so much. But after reading reviews about HOX heating up problems, maybe this time I prefer not to overclock.
Guess I'd go with Alex-V Kernel but what are the ROMs compatible with it? It didn't mention on the thread

Custom Rom

Hey people. I'm kinda new to the game of flashing etc. Currently I'm running Viper on my HTC one s (and loving it)! But that's not why I'm here. My old phone (mums current phone) is a Wildfire s, so what I want to do is root and flash a custom rom for it in hopes of increasing the battery life. I know cm is pretty good with battery, but are there any suggestions as to which rom I could use? Or may be better? Maybe even a jb sense?
Thanks in advance

Hello. I think that, in terms of battery life, the stock rom is the one that lasts the most.
