messed up flash screen and no bootscreen

whenever i flash any custom rom whether the rom version is android 4.2/4.1.2/4.1.1 , my phone has no bootscreen and a messed up flashscreen when it sais (samsung galaxy note 2 GT-N7100) but then after waiting the appropriate time, the rom works fine but same problem when rebooting... i attached the flashcreen and how it looks like, i have no idea why this happens.i just press the lockscreen after rebooting and waiting and the rom works normally. i rooted using the Galaxy Note II Toolkit v3.0.0 GSM. i first experienced this right after flashing and entering recovery(cmw) but twrp worked fine then, now any rom i flash i experience this,
Is anyone faceing a similar problem or can help in anyway ?

yes flash tar file with odin (no need to flash stock, straight way flash with odin)

this is the second picture... i flashed philz and still same problem! stock works fine :S its making me crazy!

I have the same screen after installing cm 10.1 ... never tried to wait some time to boot.... tried several times with several recoveries... result the same. Before used s3 i9300 and never had such issue. Hope someone will help

tell me a rom you tried that works fine with the bootanimation and everything please! because so far ive tried several! non have worked. and what recovery are you using?

I tried rom managers cwm and twrp manager and cm 10.1 rom only. Tried several times and no luck. Same screen after install.

Can't install new rom

Hi.
I'm a bit of a newbie to this so please forgive if this is an obvious one for you, but I am having issues trying to install a rom onto my Galaxy Note II GT-N7100. I have already rooted and have Cyanmodgen 10 installed but don't really like it that much so want to try the Android Revolution HD rom. I can get into clockworkmod recovery no problem, but when I select the rom and it starts to flash, it will only get so far and then freeze. I have tried several times, and it freezes at different points. I also tried using the monxDIFIED rom, and have exactly the same problem with this.
Can you advise what I am doing wrong?

What recovery do you have? TWRP or CWM? I`am off but i use PhilZ Touch 4 recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2028103. Haven`t had issues yet. Good luck.

If I have this right, I believe CWM. I downloaded the toolkit from the link below if that helps. (I added a space in it as I don't have 10 posts yet)

Try flashing PhilZ Touch from here http://www.mediafire.com/?v6cyi52g2ydbd, select the tar file for the N7100 and flash it with Odin. This should solve your issue. Good luck bro.

Its CWM, this used to happen to me too. I use TWRP now, never had a problem since.

[Q] SGN2 N7100 Boot/Reboot problems

Hi, wondering if anyone can help.
I was running my note 2 n7100 on Omega rom v15 with perseus kernal v35. It was fine, until yesterday my phone started rebooting.
I reflashed Omega rom, I unrooted and reflashed stock rom, I rooted and tried other roms.. however, im still having problems.
Once the phone has restarted and got to home screen, whenever I do anything, the phone reboots. (on Cm10.1 rom varients - jellybam and pa3.5)
When using stock rom and omega rom the phone doesn't even go past the samsung galaxy note II logo screen.
I've read somewhere, that reflashing the bootloader may help, so I may give that a try..
Does anyone else have any ideas or similar problems?

Never had this issue but if I were you, I think I'll do all Wipe & format options from my recovery and then I'll flash a Factory firmware via Odin.

Flashing a stock rom isn't a clean installation so this is not what I suggested.

[Q] Cant Flash 4.3 Roms

Not sure what happen but whenever i try to flash a 4.3 rom i get the rom directory location with "(bad)" at the end. im trying to use the pac man rom but no luck i was on it last week but after i tried Ditto 3 it was a no go could some1 help i have mostly all I317 firmwares but any help would be nice.

Have you tried using Odin to return to fully stock? Then re root it flash Rom of choice, too if problem still persist...
Before doing above did you try a internal storage wipe b4 your install? To get rid of all old days from previous Rom!!

W03 Slim Rom V7 - Boot Loop

I am trying to install the W03 Slim ROM V7 on my Tmobile Galaxy Note 3 through Philz recovery and I am getting stuck in a boot loop.
These are the steps I tried
1. Used Chainfire's root method to root Kitkat 4.4.2 (which was updated through kies). Used the N9005 and not N900T like the instructions asked me to
2. Flashed Philz Recovery through Odin
3. Copied the ROM and Gapps to my Phone.
4. Rebooted into recovery
5. Wiped Data/Factory reset, Install from Zip, wipe cache, wipe dalvik and reboot.
This is where I get stuck. The phone boots with these words on the top left, "Recovery not enforcing seandroid" or something along those lines and keeps booting. I booted back to Recovery and 'Re'wiped' the phone/did a factory reset, but nogo
So I downloaded the right stock firmware from Sammobile, installed through Odin and repeated the steps and still the same issue.
What am I doing wrong? I made sure I am flashing hltetmo (for TMo Note 3).

Correct me if im wrong but if you flashed the new bootloader I don't think you can go back to 4.3 roms anymore.

Sounds like a Recovery issue to me. Please look one more time and make sure if you used PHILZ TOUCH that you did in fact flash 6.19.3 HLTE. and not HLTETMO. Im also using philz and no problems flashing. However before it was known that this was the version to use, I did loop at the same point when experimenting with other versoins. Also, check your MD5 and verify that it is a good download.... maybe re download just for gits and shiggles.

Had the same bootloop issue when I just tried it out. I updated my bootloader when I updated to stock KK through odin. I am assuming by 4.3 you mean the bootloader on SlimRom is the 4.3 bootloader even though it is a 4.4.2 rom?

Yep.... you are correct sir. 4.3 bootloader. No el flashy 4.3 roms if you updated to 4.4 Bootloader.... im running Echoe rom. Maybe give that a try. Its an international.

Thanks everyone. It does look like it is the bootloader issue.
How do we determine if a particular ROM supports a particular bootloader version? At least the ROMs I have sort of explored and wanted to try, dont mention that anywhere. Or maybe they use some geek term to reference that but I dont understand it. How do noobs like me determine the bootloader version and compatibility of a particular ROM (before flashing and finding out the hard way)???

Not really an answer to your question but I did flash pac-rom without issue. So there is one safe one.
