What recovery are you using? What ROMs have you tried flashing? Have you wiped every partition, including system, data, and cache?

Recovery: AmmonRa.
Roms:
ICS beta : result: turn on phone [posible fix] but has errors
ICS RC: result: don't turn on phone.
ICS xperia: result don't boot phone
Original Firmware: Lg p350: fail, don't can be turn on screen. Lgp350g firmware: =
The exact Model is: LG-P350G
Wit Kernel by Kamesh turn on screen but phone don't quest normally, unestable.
Wipe: all partitions
Rom: Flash with any version
recovery: AmmonRa
Fash with fastboot

Maybe your Recovery is broken. Next time flash ClockworkMod (PecanCM version) and give full wipe (minus SD-Card). After download Flashable Firmware (search a little bit on our Android Development and you find it, was made by Skyheiser) and flash it and see if the problems still exist.

Sony Xperia Pro with PACMAN

Dear Techies
I love to play around and use new gadgets ans fotware. Android is my first choice but unfortunately this something very new for me. I was looking for Jelly Bean and got it as Pacman. Which i came to know is combo of three ROMS features.
I decided to go for first time for custom ROM with my SOny Xperia Pro MK16i. It was having its official ROM as ICS (b 587 i suppose).
I could read 3 steps mainly one was Unlocking the boot and then Root and then flash ROM. I did first 2 (right i suppose) but when i came to the last one for flashing the custom ROM i suppose i did something wrong.
with flashtool i flashed IMG file in fastboot mode. I was done without any error i did restart to the system. Pacman logo came with SONY under it but then nothing i did 3-4 times but i was left with very dim light screen with nothing on it.
But i suppose this was a better position than now. here i think i did the main mistake i again flashed with recoveryNeo IMG (it was in fastboot folder which i downloaed earlier).:crying:
SInce then its blank no light for first 2-3 attempts for restarting it vibrate but now even it doesnt vibrate.
I dont what to do next lots of question did i bricked my phone. Is that recoverable ? can i still get it back to official ROM if yes then how or can i still put custom ROM if yes then HOW ?
Please help
thanks in advance

After flashing the kernel, you need to boot through recovery mode with the PACman build (.zip) available on your SD storage. To log in to recovery mode, as soon as you get the PACman SONY splash screen (when LED turns blue) press the volume down button located at the side of your device. Once into recovery:
1. back up your data
2. wipe all user data and cache
3. Install update from a zip file and pick the relevant ROM
Just in case you're completely locked out and want your old ICS 587 build, just switch off your cellphone, connect it to your PC with Sony PCC installed. In all probability, PCC identifies it as a Sony device but not the model. Follow the steps on the screen and choose xperia pro when the option to install stock OS appears.
I bricked my xperia pro twice before successfully upgrading to PACman 17 so its a pretty normal scenario.
Do let us know how goes it!

[HELP] SU640 bootscreen loop. :(

[Problem Solved]
Method is in my next post.
-------
Dear Friends!
Salaam!
I decided to updated my ROM to JB4.2. In order to do this, I formatted my memory card (which deleted all data including old backup) and made fresh backup using Clockword Recovery.
After that when I started the cell, it was on loop. LG logo appears and after that boot-screen logo appear and after that cell phone restarts.
I installed few roms, and same thing is happening again and again. Phone starts, LG logos appears, Rom boot screen appears and sometime language selection shows and phone starts again. This is happening again and again.
- I tried to restore my backup but no sucess.
- I have wiped every thing (Factory reset, Cache, Dalvik and even Batt Status).
- I'm using latest official recovery CWR.
- I tried, Avatar, Pac Rom, CM10, ICS and other too. But no success.
Kindly guide. Highly appreciated.
Looking forward.

[Q] Unable to fix bootloop - even tried STOCK flash in fastboot. No luck.

Hey guys,
Long time lurker, ROM user since the Galaxy S days.
Weird, intractable bootloop problem here. Gets to boot animation sometimes gets to the "upgrading android" screen, then bootloops in a few seconds after upgrading a few apps. Usually bootloops during the boot animation (doesn't matter what ROM or Stock ROM I try). Ocassionally gets to my "SIM PIN" screen, then reboots before I have a chance to enter anything.
Normal State have Cyanogenmod and Franco Kernel running buttery smooth. (CM10.1M3 Snapshot + Franco 376 when problem started)
Problem Started When I tried to update CM to the new RC1 from the Cyanogenmod upgrade button in "settings". I had SuperSU installed overtop the built-in superuser. Everything was working fine.
What I have tried:
Have latest CWM: Have flashed, reflashed, wiped and re-wiped everything imaginable through CWM. All Caches, system sdcard, you name it, if it's an option in CWM I have tried formatting or wiping it and reflashing a ROM.
ROMs I have tried - CM10.1M3 Snapshot, CM10.1RC1 CM10.1RC2, ParanoidAndroid 3.5+ (Latest), Bigxie Maguro Latest.
Finally I got fed up and decided to go back to STOCK, unrooted, unlocked using fastboot.
I did:
> fastboot erase boot
> fastboot erase cache
> fastboot erase recovery
> fastboot erase system
> fastboot erase userdata
> fastboot flash bootloader magurobootloader.img
> fastboot reboot-bootloader
> fastboot flash radio radioxxlj1.img
> fastboot reboot-bootloader
> fastboot -w update image-maguro-jdq39.zip
And after booting back into the STOCK google recovery (man I haven't seen that screen in AGES) and resetting factory clearing cache. Low and behold -
STILL BOOT LOOPS!!!! What the hell!?!
I'm at my wits end. Any suggestions would be great. What am I forgetting here?! I am absolutely desperate.
What is in the update image and where did you get it? I'd flash everything manually, skip the update command.

Ok good idea, I'll try. The update image was the stock image from google (can't post link - low post count) I just didn't remember the filenames when I was making the original post - but they are the official STOCK images - for the radio, the bootloader and the ROM.

Okay I tried flashing boot, system, userdata, and recovery manually with fastboot flash and after that I STILL get the rebootloop from google logo to boot animation to google logo. So weird.
Any other ideas?

So decided to try TWRP just to see...well I dunno.
Interstingly enough when I got to hit "reboot" in TWRP it says "OS not installed!!" which is weird because I basically flashed the stock everything 4.2.2 (bootloader recovery, system, boot, everything) from fastboot. Then JUST flashed the TWRP recovery.
I really don't know what to make of this. I just tried keeping the battery out for like 2 minutes, then going back into fastboot and manually flashing:
bootloader
boot
radio
recovery
system
userdata
relocked bootloader
of the STOCK google maguro 4.2.2 (MD5 sum is good. It checked out)
And I still get a continuous reboot loop that doesn't even get past the "X" animation screen. Very ocassionally (1/10) it does get past that screen and I get to the screen where you choose your language, but right when I choose my language, the phone reboots and then continues the loop.
Honestly...Unless someone has another idea, I think I'm going to get another phone tomorrow and pray I'm under warranty. I hate to do it, because I've never had to do that before through all my flashing/ROM adventures...but I don't know what else to do. I've been using sideload for everything (except of course the fastboot flashing back to stock), but I doubt that has anything to do with it...I dunno crap.
anyone have any words of advice?
One thing I thought i might work was redoing the partition table in Odin. So I tried this method:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2065470 (Thanks to Samersh72)
ODIN worked perfectly, download mode worked well, installed fine, and...
still bootloops!
Sometimes gets to "updating android" does a few apps, then bootloops. Once got to the screen where I select language, and before I could select anything - bootloop!
Do you guys think this is hardware? Right now I've installed stock 4.2.2 through ODIN and locked the bootloader in anticipation of returning the phone...

I looked into the OMAP flash method - that's some hardcore stuff. It looks like it's more for phones that can't access recovery, or hard seemingly bootbricked. I can actually do all of those things with my phone - I can write a new recovery no problem, I have fastboot access (Works well), I can even seemingly install ROMs - for instance the cyanogenmod boot animation plays fine - but everything boot loops.
I'm a bit worried to try OMAP Flash because it seems from the thread that some people are having their IMEI numbers erased or set to generic and I don't want that to happen since I'm actually still under warranty right now...
Do you think it's worth it to try?

Yeah you're right. OK done.
While I agree that the safest route is to return the device to warranty, omapflash is a tool which communicates with omap chip before even fastboot/bootloader is installed.
Have you tried viewing logcat/dmesg while device is booting to see why and/or its bootlooping?

I can't seem to get at logcat from this state. even if I try adb -d logcat or something similar it doesn't work. It doesn't pick up the log from the boot. Is it because USB debugging is disabled by default on the stock OS?

Yes, but There's a build.prop property that enables ADB debugging.. Since you have access to a custom recovery, you can mount /system rw and make your changes there.

Similar issue
Hey guys,
I am having a similar issue with my Nexus. It is running Phandroid 3 and one day just locked up, rebooted, and shortly after reboot (15-30 sec. after the OS loads) it freezes. I can still boot into CWM recovery and into fastboot mode, and have tried to flash it with the stock rom and bootloader. I also tried an OMAP flash, but that did not change anything as well. The odd thing is that when I try to flash a new rom (I have tried stock and other custom roms) it flashes as if everything is fine, but when I reboot it still has the phandroid rom on it. Another odd note is that when phandroid boots it notifies me that I have an incoming text message, but I removed the SIM card over a month ago. I have been struggling with this and would love any thoughts or opinions anyone has to offer. Thanks a lot!

[Q] Stuck in boot loop, trying to return to stock, I think I need to use PIT file

Hi all. I'm in a real pickle here and hoping someone can tell me how to get out of this mess. It's a bit of a long story, but I'll summarise as best I can.
I've had my Galaxy Note 2 LTE (N7105) for a year and I rooted it pretty much the day after I got it. I'm not new to rooting at all (fourth Android device since 2010, all rooted), but I still feel like a noob at times. Over this 2014 Easter period I had time off so I decided to change ROMs.
I was previously using CM 11, which I had been using pretty much since I rooted. And I had updated CM at least once a month, sometimes more frequently. So I was looking for some new ROMs, downloaded about 5 and tried them out. The last two I tried was OmniROM (a 4.4.2 ROM) and CM 11 Remix (also a 4.4.2 ROM). I was using TWRP 2.7.0.2 to do the wipes, caches, flashes, etc. I had no issues flashing OmniROM, but when I flashed CM 11 Remix, I couldn't get in the first time. I was stuck in a boot loop. I pulled the battery, got back into recovery and tried flashing again. Still boot looping. I think the mistake I made was a Data Format. Either way, I finally got CM 11 Remix to load by first wiping, flashing the ROM, GApps, a sensor fix, a camera fix, Devil Kernel and then Super SU. However once in the ROM I was getting constant Google Play Store / Services FCs. Oh, and yes, I went through the typical brand new Android setups, entering my Google account and so on... I found that if I cleared data / caches on both Google Play Store app and Google Play Services app, it gave me temporary joy but as soon as I tried to download any app in Google Play I'd get the FC. Also, my signal was totally gone. I tried flashing back to OmniROM as it was my last known good and working ROM, but now that was boot looping. I even tried some of the other ROMs from that bunch I had, including AOKP. All would boot loop.
So after much trying different GApp packages, I decided to best thing to do would be restore it to stock, root again, then go for the custom ROM (hopefully CM 11 Remix) from a nice clean slate. So I did this. I downloaded the Android 4.3 stock ROM from SamMobile here. Installed Odin 3.07, then loaded it up and flashed the stock ROM. All seemed to go great, but when the ROM was done and phone rebooted, I get stuck in another boot loop! This time at the white "Samsung" logo with the glowing blue edges. Not the model number screen. Also my LED light is on blue, if that means anything.
So I found this thread (post at top of page) which suggests I need to flash the PIT file during the stock ROM installation with Odin. So I found the PIT file here, and I'm ready to flash this along with the stock ROM... HOWEVER, I read something somewhere (can't find it now) that implied if I'm on Android 4.3, flashing a PIT is a bad move. Can anyone comment on that? I guessing since the stock ROM is 4.3, I'm technically on 4.3 (even though I can't get into it).
Or if anything else I'm doing immediately stands out as a seriously stupid move, please let me know. I've been without normal use of my phone for a couple days now and ironically I'm at the point where I'm considering going without a phone for the rest of my life... LOL! AS IF I COULD!
Anyways, any help will be much appreciated!
EDIT: I just realised I should have posted in Troubleshooting, not General Questions... If mods want to move this, please do.
i just suggest that you flash the stock odin without the pit and see if its working out or not. sometimes playing with pit files can screw up your device even more...
btw... next time you play flashing... i'm suggesting you make a backup of your working custom. its will save you lots of time if this kind of problem happen.

I had a problem with my device where I was stuck at boot loader as well, but it was from the rar file of the rom(cm 11) cause I tried downloading it again and it worked.
I suggest you prepare Odin and the stock firmware, wipe factory/cache dalvik, system (advanced), then flash stock firmware, to bring everything back to normal.

Hmmm, I'm not stuck at boot loader, just boot loop. Maybe you meant that?
To clarify, all I can do now is...
1. Boot normally and end up in a boot loop (at "Samsung" white logo with glowing blue edges).
2. Boot into Download mode and from there I can use Odin to flash / install.
3. Boot into stock recovery, which I've never used before (only ever used custom recovery).
I've prepped Odin again, ready to flash the stock firmware, but I've never done a wipe / factory reset with Odin. I don't see any Advanced settings? Did you mean I can do it elsewhere? Cos I see I can do wipes / factory reset from stock recovery.
So should I do that AND then go into Download mode and flash stock firmware with Odin?

ohhh my bad, I meant boot loop (stuck at samsung logo), mine was stuck there but then after it restarts and goes into recovery mode
do these following steps and you should be fine with your device.
1. Go into recovery mode
2. Wipe factory/reset
3. Wipe cache
4. Wipe dalvik
5. Advance > format/system
Now you have no rom or any OS to load,
1. Power off the device
2. Open Odin on your PC(right click run as administrator)
3. power on your note in Download Mode
4. Connect your device to your PC via USB
5. odin should recognize your device, something blue like " ID" or something there, you should be familiar with that.
6. click PDA, and find the official stock firmware zip you got it from samsung website, and make sure it fits your device(for example if you have your note from italy you should have ITV)
7. Hit Start and it should finish in 5-10 minutes.
Its the cleanest way with Odin, I did some crap on my device and that's how I return it to normal.

I actually went ahead and booted into stock recovery and did the factory reset and partition wipe before I saw your post. And the stock firmware I'd flashed with Odin previously is now booting and I'm finally back in!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!
Just need to root this bad boy and get back to a nice shiny custom ROM.
Thanks for the advice everyone!

I have another hurdle... Some built in security is stopping SuperSU from running. It's not Knox, but something like it. I get this error message:
"Unauthorized access to a secured area has been blocked. Tap here for more info."
How can I disable this? I've searched on Google already but so far nothing is helping and I can mostly only find info about Knox...
EDIT: It was goddamn Knox all along... And I just disabled it by means of SuperSU. Finally!

The Note 2 is a great device man. I am sure you'll love it. The Note 3 looks great also, but I don't like the ribbed sides (I'm fussy) and last I read there's an eFuze that goes off once rooted or something along those lines. That's sh!t.

My case is the same case of Invertedskull. I already did all steps as you instructed. I wiped data/cache/system and flash a stock room 4.4.2 of Nordic Rom on SamMobile website.
After flashed, the looping still happens. When I put the charger, the looping stops and goes to the main screen normally. Sometimes, it suddenly restarts but not frequently.
OMG! How to stop it. Pls help me.
My Note 2 is N7105 LTE - Optus (Australia)

If you have access to anything, and don't get JUST the boot loop, then you DO NOT have the same case I was in. You are probably able to recover from this. Try posting on the Tf Forums. The guys over there are "specialists" in Asus Tf tablets, and as you'll see on this thread (http://www.transformerforums.com/fo...-boot-loop-after-doing-routine-cm-update.html), they gave me a lot of help. Not that I was able to recover, but they were awesome dudes.

mroldman281, You didn't post again, so I don't know, If You found solution, but since I had same simptoms, and after four days of reinstalling different stock roms, wiping and even messing with PIT via Odin etc..I can say, that in my case the reason for boot loop was faulty battery. The phone worked when it was plugged in and restarted soon after i unplugged USB cable, and just lopped afterwards. Replacement battery put everything back in order. And I am one happy Camper!
Hope this info helps someone else with boot loop problem
same problem stuck in bootloop
hey guys i have the same problem bootloop all the time i tryied stock firmware but nothing happend avec i rooted my note 2 and intalled a costom recovery and a many roms but stuck in bootloop i didn't chage baterry , by the way i wiped cache and reset factory and clear dalvick cache but the same always bootloop

hey guys i get back my note 2 i don't know how but it was a succes :victory:
first : i tried so many afficial firmware 4.4.2 and costom roms but didn't change the problem of bootloop
then i remembred what version i was in it was 4.1.1 so i download it from sammobiles thenks to them flash it and boooom the note 2 lte start like a charm
i want to thanks everyone for their help even if they didn't help directly but this past 3 days i read almost all the threads about note 2

UNABLE TO BOOT ANY ROM AFTER LATEST GApps INSTALLATION

Hi people,
Today I unlocked my Lenovo ZUK Z2 Plus and installed latest twrp recovery 3.3.1 successfully(no errors until now, butter smooth). After that I flashed "CARBON-CR-7.0-OPAL-RELEASE-z2_plus-20200122-0608" without installing GApps. This time the ROM booted successfully. I was able to use the phone and make calls.
Then I installed the GApps " open_gapps-arm64-9.0-stock-20200131.zip" downloaded from OpenGApps.org. This time around, when I booted after installing GApps, the phone showed the welcome screen, but got suddenly turned off. After that the phone just shows ZUK logo and keeps rebooting.
To fix this, I went to recovery again, wiped clean DATA & DALVIK CACHE & CACHE & SYSTEM & VENDOR partitions, hoping I would start from the beginning and again install only ROM and not GApps and hoping I would be able to use the phone.
Now this time around, even though I wiped every partition that TWRP shows, the phone just kept rebooting without starting Android OS. So I cleaned again everything using TWRP(cleaning DATA procedure) and then transferred ROM zip files to phone and again flashed only ROM. Still the phone kept rebooting.
Now I got pissed off. I flashed factory ROM using QFIL method. This time after the boot animation it went straight to "Shutting Down" dialogue and again the phone restarted.
CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT THE HELL IS EXACTLY WRONG WITH MY PHONE?
WHAT COULD HAVE GONE WRONG THAT EVEN AFTER CLEANING ALL THE PARTITIONS AND FLASHING USING THE FACTORY PROCEDURE, THE PHONE STILL KEEPS REBOOTING?
Is there any other partition that needs to be cleared(which the TWRP does not list)?
Can somebody just tell me how to get out of this?
(Please explain the steps and the reason for each, as I am a noob in this matter).
WAITING FOR ANYBODY'S PROMPT RESPONSE AS MY PHONE IS COMPLETELY UNUSABLE. THANKS IN ADVANCE.
what ZUI version you flashed with QFIL ?

Ok plz let me know that if ur device boots up to fastboot mode. If yes then repeat the whole process but this time try installing different twrp. U can also use (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?a=show&w=files&flid=38683) tool kit for flashing. (DO NOT TRY TO RELOCK BOOTLOADER USING THIS TOOL) Also use flame gapps.
Will catch u soon regarding ur issue.

I again flashed the Stock ZUI 2.5. ST ROM using QFIL. But before doing this I had moved the SIM Card to another fone, so this fone was without any connection. This time the fone booted up successfully. Then I reflashed the Carbon ROM mentioned before and flashed Flame GApps Basic edition as suggested by you. This time the fone booted up successfully. But as soon as I connected the fone to internet, it downloaded something from Google Play Services in the background and again it started the same problem.
SO BASICALLY WHEN IT DOWNLOADS SOMETHING FROM GOOGLE IN BACKGROUND, IT STARTS THE REBOOTING NONSENSE.
I searched the internet for this and some articles on the internet suggested that "Google Dialer" component is causing reboot. Those articles suggested that if the "Google Dialer" is not set as the default dialer, it reboots. BUT HOW TO SET IT AS DEFAULT, WHEN IT STARTS REBOOTING IMMEDIATELY AND IT DOES NOT GIVE ENOUGH TIME?
EVEN THE EARLIER GApps 9.0 stock package that I flashed had warned to set the "Google Dialer" as default, but upon boot up it kept rebooting.
Even initially I started this UNLOCKING AND CUSTOM ROM FLASHING exercise after the factory ROM started rebooting after updating "Google play services".
So this seems to me an issue from Google.
Has Google done this on purpose to make people switch older phones to new ones?(Because I own a total of 3 android devices and only this device is rebooting not the other ones).
Looking forward to your reply.
Greetings Buddy..how's life going??
Ok once again I hv read ur op regarding ur problems. Let's start from the beginning. Boot up to twrp and format the data first before wiping everything. Try flashing lineageOS 16 using official gapps. (Flash gapps along with the flashing ROM, same time. Because flashing gapps after ROM's 1st reboot may result synchronise error or sometime bootloop). If successful, then flash ur carbon ROM and see whether it boots up to normal or still gives such error.
BTW sorry for my late replies. Till then peace out

I am now not able to boot any ROM. Just keeps rebooting after the ZUK splashscreen. Hence, I again reflashed the Recovery properly, using the procedure as before. Now I am not able to boot into the recivery, too.
