So many of you adopters of CM9/AOKP had the unfortunate discovery that Samsung Apps/Kies Air do not work on AOKP/CM9 roms and only work on official samsung roms. I do not claim ownership of this mod and I do not want any credit for it. All credit goes to masiullah who discovered it on the Samsung Note. I can confirm it works for AOKP build 35.2 for the Samsung Epic. I cannot comment on other CM9-like roms, but I assume they work too.

To get this on your phone, it needs to be flashed in Clockwork mod recovery. To download you go to File-> Download. Download is here:

Personally I don't like TouchWiz or the clock so I removed them before installing the .zip.

Mierda, I should probably have put this in the "Apps" section. Maybe it can be seen as development? It could help if they were included in CM9/AOKP so it might help with development.

Because I love the TW GSII Widgets. Problem? Lol. Also, although I bought Beautiful Widgets, I don't care for using that. There are some things I like about TW, and their Newest Launcher plus their eye-candy widgets are what I like.

EDIT: Anyone know if it's possible to get modem mode working in CM9? I need to be able to access QPST and my phone, while I can access the menu, doesn't actually switch to modem mode. I need a serial connection for QPST and I'd rather not flash an old rom to do so.

For anyone having issues reading this, here's the English translation:
AT&T ROMs work on T-Mobile phones

I flashed this AT&T ROM, and it works. You just need the T-Mobile modem. If you want to use JellyBean "gap," just look for and install it. My Internet is too slow; it doesn't let me search for it to include the link. Sorry guys. Just letting you know that AT&T ROMs work on our phone. Be safe and back up first.
Now, as far as this post goes, I'm not sure why it was posted in the first place, seeing as the same ROM is available natively on the T889.

Well actually to be fair, the OP posted this before that ROM was available in the T889 forums (and it's actually not native for the T889, it's the same exact rom that was first posted in the AT&T section and it's from an AT&T build)
But yes it does work on our T889's fine! I'm using it now, it's flyin

Wouldn't you just put the phone into download mode and flash the stock image back to the phone in Odin?
IIRC it even replaces the stock recovery/kernel and un-roots the device too.

It's completely impossible to debloat a ROM, much less make one flashable... (prove me wrong by using search and/or browsing the development forums)

How exactly am I being condescending? I offered an answer and offered a way for the OP to double-check my answer. I never said or implied I know more than srkrono; not once. I have experienced zero rudeness here. Then again, I respect the time of the volunteers here and only ask a question after I have already conducted my own search.
OP, while some people may come off rude, it is actually a rule in this forum to search before asking questions. A lot of folks here are nice and just give links and answers upon request but that's just them being nice. Most developers get extremely annoyed when a question is asked with no prior research attempts. Just fyi

Alright, so I checked that thread out and unfortunately it's for the International S3. :/ So, this is half a question and half a request. x) My question is that if I flash this .zip, will my device get bricked? Because I've also seen this request for the S4 and someone linked them the link I put above. BUT in that link, the person says, "Do not try this on other devices" I think... so I'm kinda in between here! haha But if that link is solely for the International S3, does anyone know if there's a port to (grammar check?) the T-Mobile Galaxy S3... or even better, can someone make one? D I think that's asking too much, nevermind. lol Well if anyone can help me out with this, I'd be really appreciative!
If it helps, I'm running Dandroid 3.4 on my phone and I removed TouchWiz and Nova, and I have the XperiaLauncher.apk as my default launcher ...That's probably irrelevant but whatever. xD
Is it okay if I "bump"? If so, bump. If not, you may tell me to delete this or you can just delete it.
If it doesn't specifically say that it works for your device I wouldn't flash it.
