I have the att pebble blue gs3 and since the new update my Samsung keyboard has stop functioning correctly. I know some people do not like the stock keyboard, but I do. It actually works as far as typing but the auto correction doesn't actually correct anything anymore. It will just ask me if i want to add the mispelled word to my dictionary every time. Is there something I need to change or reset? I've already deleted the cache and wiped the data for the keyboard. Any input would be greatly appreciated. If this has already been posted I apologize in andvance as I didn't see it.

You could use Odin to reflash stock ucalem then re update. Will just lose all data.

Is there any other way? Has yours been working fine since the update?

Reinstall the update if possible
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
I can't just reinstall the update. I've wiped my phone twice and every time it boots back up it already has the update on the phone. I thought if you wiped the phone it was supposed to wipe the update as well. Why is mine not doing that?

Same problem here. Had to move over to SwiftKey. Same phone same carrier.

Use Swype beta

Well it's not about using another keyboard. I like the Samsung keyboard and it worked great for me. I just would like to know a way to fix it.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
I have seen this issue as well.
Sent from my SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
I haven't heard anything about a fix yet. About to call att and ask them if they can swap the phones out.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
Let me know of that solves the problem. I hope it is just a software bug they are working out...
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
Well they are sending mr a new device. I'm going to receive it in sometime next week. Will post when I get it. Just a side note that my friend has the same phone on the same network and he is experiencing no problems. Had to fight with att because they wanted me to send it back to Samsung to reflash it. That wasn't going to happen.

Well I have the new gs3 and still the same problems. Guess I'll have to wait until jellybean for anything to be fixed.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda premium
Mine does the same thing since the update. Hmm.... I thought it was just me. I'll have to go over to swype for now I guess.
Yeah I had to get a good keyboard off the market. Been really good and it doesn't bother me. Just bugs me that my beast phone has something on it that's not working correctly.

Was just reading a review from androidpolice.com that the note 2 had the same problem with the keyboard not correcting anything when you type. I think Samsung officially broke their keyboard.

Hey everyone! I've noticed a problem with every Jellybean ROM I have flashed. Basically, with headphones, the volume is only about 1/2 as loud as any other ROM that isn't Jellybean. Anyone else have this problem, or a solution? Thanks!
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Its a known bug . You can use Vodoo from the play store or try the FK09 leak. The volume bug seems fixed on it but watch out it will wipe your internal sd so make a backup of important files on your pc or external sd.
Edit:volume+ sux

Download Voodoo Louder in the app market...If your phone is rooted it optimizes the kernal and I know it was just updated for jellybean support...
Try the latest Codename
Thanks for the reply! What exactly is codename? An app?

Codename aka CNA is a jellybean rom in the Dev section. Op stated that the volume bug is fixed. Sweet rom too I was running it till I get my S3. Give it a try.

Cool thanks! I'll be sure to check it out!

I use Volume+ and works well. Requires a restart before it kicks in after you set it for JB ROMs. Ignore the devs warning that it doesn't work for JB. Best $1.99 I've spent in awhile.

I was a volume+ user till I tried vodoo. Never will use anything else again.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
I tried Volume plus and could not get it to work, it just like distorted the audio. I got Vodoo and it makes it super loud if I want and does not distort the song! I love vodoo

I was wondering if anybody had a zip to get the stock keyboard from TW on cm10. I miss the handwriting recognition maybe some advice on what I could do at least?

It would be nice but this isn't possible. The Samsung keyboard requires the touchwiz framework to function.
Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda premium
This was done on the original Note. I'll take a look at that one and see if it can be done.
I want this as well. Missing the one handed operation. Paid for thumbs keyboard as a workaround now.
But what if you have touchwiz already?
All I really miss is the dedicated top row to number keys. If someone could hack that into the AOSP keyboard that would be pretty cool
Try kii keyboard

I did, and even bought it for the advanced customizing features but I couldn't come up with a set-up that felt quite like stock I'll try it again, but I spent a good hour configuring it last time.
bump, this would be perfect. only can someone make it compatible for n7105 as well?

Nice find and works great. There was someone who said bottom row won't work with landscape but portrait is fine.
Everything works 100% for me on my gn2 portrait and landscape. Even swyping

Do you have either touch sounds or haptic feedback turned on? I find these cause lag.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
Hi,
Did you ever find out what was causing this issue?
I've got the same lag issue on my new tablet.
Thanks!
