Bought a "new" N7100 - having doubts it's really new...
I've tried both ##786# and *#*#786#*#*, both didn't work. How do I get into the RTN menu?
Is there another way to find out when the device was turned on the first time?

Hello Everyone,
I have HTC SPRINT TOUCH PRO 2 PHONE.
I was updating the RADIO version on my phone and after it installed the device went to REBOOT and it never opened again and it doesn't goto the boot loader. The only reaction that the phone does is when i put it to charge the red light turn on.
I have tried hard/soft Reset, and nothing have worked.
PLEASE, DOES ANYONE CAN EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED ?? OR What can I do ??

could be a battery issue, seems like its not holding a charge. Go to a store and try a new battery?
Sorry, but it sounds like you bricked your device. I'm guessing you flashed a radio not made for your device, like a GSM radio. If you can't access the bootloader, then I'd say you probably need to get your device replaced under warranty (by going to the store you bought it from and playing dumb about why it won't work so they'll replace it) or send it to HTC and pay to get it replaced.
try to reflash back to the stock rom...download and use the sprint exe on this page to do so...http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=91940
ive had this happen and this was the only way to get it working again
Thank you everyone for trying to help, I will try to reflash the stock ROM and hopefully it works otherwise I will send it to HTC since i dont have warranty.
I have just bought a new Samsung Galaxy Ace II x for my cousin for his 14th birthday. Unfortunately, the next day he had already forgot his pattern to unlock his phone. Can anyone help me out on resetting his phone so that the passcode goes away? He doesn't have anything on it yet so he says that he won't lose anything important. So again, how do I reset it? I am a complete noob when it comes to androids.

When starting it up, press Power + Home + Volume Up to enter recovery mode. There will be a 'Factory reset' option, use that. You will lose everything on the phone apart from SD card files.

Hello everyone. I have an lg g3. It's the International d 855 model. I have a pin code set up on it but i forgot the code and I'm guessing because it is an international model, itit not giving me the option to hit forget my password and reset it through my Google account like most androids have. I tried to use the hardware keys to do a hard factory reset as I saw online but it didn't work. Instead of allowing me to go into recovery mode or giving me the factory reset option, the phone simply went into safe mode. I tried to do different combinations of pin codes but I gave up after trying at least 200 different ones. Is there another way to bypass the pin lock screen and do a factory reset? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I'm always cautious of people who join Xda just to ask to unlock their phones because of a "forgotten pin" but hey it's common knowledge so what you need to do is go into download mode mode and flash a new stock firmware look here >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089 <<.
Whats the use of a pinlock code if it's so easy to bypass it,flash stock rom if you nicked an LG G3 and ready to go ?(nicked as example ofcourse)
Lol touche it is so easy to bypass bit thats cool cause u can nick mine and as soon as i know its gone ill remotely wipe it myself and turn on the gps plus lg built the kill switch on these phones

I'm in a dire situation.
my Samsung note 2 (N7100) has a faulty display (LCD started blacking out and now is completely black).
I am trying to access it via [email protected] but unsuccessfully - this could be due to the fact I have a PIN to access my phone and/or USB debug not being activated.
I have tried to enter the PIN but not sure whether that was successful or not (I tried to get an idea of where the numbers are by looking at another samsung..).
I am following this thread to find out how to get [email protected] to work (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2786395&nocache=1 ) but I'm not sure how to proceed.
- where do the instructions need to be put? is that ADB shell?
- how to bypass the PIN? is there any way or do I have to keep trying to guess?
- are there any other ways to recover the contents of my phone?

About the screen: the samsung note 2 LCD screen is more expensive than buying a used one! all I care at this stage are my photos and data.. I will get a new one as it's the cheapest way..

Recovery mode gives a black screen, not sure if it does access it but display nothing or doesn't access it at all
I have tried using Kies but every time I type the model as per the sticker under the battery, Kies replies with "Please check model number"
I can go into Download mode, Odin detects the phone as COM 3, but doesn't go beyond the initialization step
Some people actually suggested smacking the phone on the power button side, I did it as I was desperate but nothing changed
As the list above states, I am out of ideas and not sure if I can get this phone to work again.
Just to let everyone know, it had a stock firmware, no root and no custom recovery.

according to a repair shop, it is more of a hardware issue and some parts would need changing but cost was almost the price of the phone if i were to sell it while working so it wasnt worth it
how was your experience with the battery of the S4 Mini Duos. For how long does ir last ?? and how much time does was it taking ??
