Samsung GT-P1000

Hi everyone
Please i know that somewhere in this web of forums their must be a wise and helpfull way of upgrading the samsung galaxy tap p1000 to either an cynogenmod or to honeycomb/icecreamsandwitch
If look around for a while now and im unable to find any straight forward explanation in doing so
So sorry for asking this question yet again
Does anyone know how to do such upgrade or to explain such process in detail or even direct me to such forum and probably most important if such upgrade is available
I am having issues with my tab,mostly it crashing or sometimes freezes for a while. Bought it about 3months ago with gingerbread preinstalled by samsung
I know that with my htc wildfire by rooting it and installing cynogenmod it helped it not crash and also improved with possibilities and speed
I want to do the same with my gt-p1000 but its still under warranty so want to be sure there is a root and mod upgrade that works so that i wont loose my warranty for incase.
Please if someone could advise

Have an ancient tab that has become boring.
Can anyone recommend a fast, pretty and stable rom? Have clockwork mod on it running Gingerbread 2.3.3 + kernel 2.6.35.7?
All help appreciated. I don't think it is rooted fully as Titanium can't get root.

[Q] Stock Android T989 ROM?

Hi all,
I'm curious from what I've seen through all the ROM's if there is one that is actually naked Android.
I am hoping to find a ROM (any version of Gingerbread so 2.3.5 or 2.3.6 etc.) that doesn't have the TouchWiz UI, or any enhancements, but is purely Android like that of the Galaxy Nexus.
I know there is a thread out there asking about this but only under Galaxy S II Q&A, and for me I'm on a Telus (or T-Mobile) T989D, so the standard i9100 ROMs wont work for me.
Does anyone know if there is a ROM out there like this that they have seen?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What do you guys really want?

So, I know there isn't really too much development going on in these forums, and I think that is because nobody really knows what people want on this phone. Other than stock/CM based Jelly Bean, what would you guys really want? I'm just starting out as a dev, but I will try to learn to do whatever it is you guys need. If I don't know how, I will learn. I'm here to serve the community, as are the other devs that are here. Please, just let us know.

CM10 or 10.1 but anything will be greatly appreciated man I'm glad you're interesting in helping us out. If I knew anything about development I would totally help but I don't but I will be glad to help in any other way. Just let me know and good luck.

making kernel that supports S2W , toggles in the notification bar , jelly bean , different engines that boost the phone (bravia , ac!d) these would all be awesome , the best of luck

I think people are really looking for any AOSP rom, super light, clean and small.

Well---I've talked to JMZ & as soon as I get the info from him I plan to start working on CM 10.1---I came from using a Doubleshot with CM 10.1 on it & really miss it...so I've got all the current build sources on my system, updated my github account & am almost ready to go.....I'm a alpha tester for Debian Linux & have the system to build with.

Hey guys and gals, I am very new the whole mod game and I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to spend some one on one time with me privately via email showing me basic ropes for now. I am currently using a Samsung Note 2 i317m Rogers based phone and have recently rooted it with stock 4.3. Like I said I am very new to the whole mod game and need some patience. : P

[Shiny ROM][Toroplus][Sprint] Looking for testers for Shiny ROM for toroplus

Hey XDA Gnex community! For those of you who don't know me, I'm the developer in charge of Shiny ROM for the GNex. Right now, we have a stable ROM out for the maguro and toro variants of the GNex, and we're looking to expand that support to the Sprint Galaxy Nexus (toroplus)! We have a build together right now, but we're looking for users to test it out before we publish it in the forum.
If any toroplus users out there are interested in testing out Shiny ROM, either reply to this thread or PM me please! Thanks in advance!

I might give it a go. i'm only cm11 m6 right now but i'm not a tweaker like i used to be and the simplicity of a more base rom is appealing.

All I have seen about this ROM are negative comments and angry people wanting a fix. Mainly data issues. However, I will give it a go.

I would love to help, but my mom is using my galaxy nexus while her s4 is being replaced. If you still need testers I could help when she gets her phone back.

I emailed you and replied on /r/GalaxyNexus. I'm a Toro user of this ROM, and love it. My friend needs something more stable! Any thing you think won't work?
