Now to business, I have CWM v3, i go to run the .zip and it goes

This happens every time, I tried to re-download the zip and giving it another shot but same issue, any ideas?

I ran across this problem with one of my tabs, but not both.
If I accessed CWM using the power and Vol+ key CWM would boot, but fail at flashing.
Go to advanced, reboot recovery
Then try to flash the kernal, then rom.
Im about to post the link to the "package" that has the zimage so people can flash the kernal via heimdall.

Alright, If rebooting recovery doesnt work install the kernal via CWM, than reboot into recovery again, although this time its with Koush's kernal. I was than able to flash the rom!

Alright, If CWM wont install the .zip, install the kernal via CWM, than reboot into recovery and Koush's kernal will than allow you to flash the .zip.

wow if you actually get around to releasing a gingerbread, that would be awsome. i know spacemoose is already working on a honeycomb, but im almost sure gingerbread has Netflix support on the GSM roms
i can wait untill you release that, ill help you with finding bugs if you need me, remember, im never scared of flashing, just hit me up. if i could do more than find bugs, i would.

So I applied the .so file from the voodoo kernal thread, and rotation works on this ROM. It's also pairing with my bluetooth keyboard folio, so that's win. I pink puffy heart the browser, too. It's fun.

OK, first off.....NOT MY PORT.
But I did stay at a holiday in last night.
This is a cdma cm7 gingerbread port, in a way its kinda a hybrid build. I myself am working on stripping out all the cm7 stuff, fixing camera, apps, weird touchscreen bugs, etc.
I'm kinda shooting for an aosp-ish build, however, I am waiting on permission from original developer to publish any changes I make.
3g and wifi do work.

I wiped (factory reset), flashed rom, booted. All works aside from root. I can confirm this bug.

I would assume this also flashes the JB bootloader since it is based off stock making it a 1 way trip at the moment.

No, its just the ROM. It does not flash any bootloaders. Thats on you to do.

Yes, because you mentioned "ICS flash at your own risk".
Maybe I'm misunderstanding, that's why I asked about the bootloader. People who have OTA to JB are stuck. I'm on CM10 which is still the ICS bootloader if I'm not mistaken. Just want to clarify.

Oh yes... I see. Well, try it but search around first and make sure that no one has bricked trying to flash a JB ROM to ICS bootloader! It may or may not work. I honestly dont know.
There are way too many good things about JB not to update IMHO.

True... that's why I'm on a CM10 nightly.
I'll flash if someone can confirm it works on the ICS bootloader and does *NOT* install the jb bootloader.

It means its truly rooted at the kernel level vs being rooted int he OS level. So if you need to push or pull files to /system you can do that with this ROM.

Guys, this is a STOCK ROM. Its IDENTICAL to what you would flash from the Asus update sans root and your typical root add ons like init.d and busybox.
This is not my custom ROM, CleanROM, this is pure stock base with true root.

So has anyone flashed this and then flashed back to CM10 successfully yet?

Well I answered my own question. Unfortunately this ROM would not boot from CM10 and CWM 5.5.0.4. I tried twice and never got past the Asus splash screen. It seemed to install fine and I let it sit for 10 min the first time and 15 the second time. I'm back on CM10 now and all is well. Too bad, I wanted to test this out.

Does this function IDENTICALLY to the OTA Stock? You just removed some bloatware. (Yes, I read the OP, just making sure). I've had some really bad experiences with someone's leaked JB ROM (I won't name whose); screen flickering, hot boots, etc. I really just want a perfectly stable build, but I also don't want to go through all the trouble of using ODIN.

Its straight up stock. No mods or anything. Since the official release I havent experienced any screen flickering or hot reboots at all. Definitely give the official jb a shot before using odin.

That's good news. I couldn't stand all of the glitchy aftertaste the leaked Jellybean ROMs were leaving in my mouth. I'll try this out later tonight, when I'm not constantly on the phone with people.

No surprise. R&D, QC, whatever you want to call it is taking a backseat on T-Mobile's list of concerns. To think they once were a bit more efficient.

I still don't understand what's going on here.

The are known to skip on updates like this they will probably push 5.1.1 before the rest do tho

TMo hasn't pushed out AOEx yet, while AT&T and Sprint have. Memory management fixes are needed pretty badly.

I'm pretty sure that they're working on updating straight to 5.1.1. given the leaked OTA which runs perfectly. Makes sense with all the issues plaguing Android 5.0 right now.

Did you get the original update from April? There was one pretty much out-of-the-box for this device. Something like 177MB or 178MB. Something like that.
Also, if you have indeed already received that update, yet you're being prompted to download a new one, I would highly recommend doing us all an awesome favor (assuming you don't mind tripping knox):
- Make some good backups of your device (TWRP or otherwise) such that you don't wipe anything
- Use Odin to return back to stock.
- Install TWRP v2 via Odin. There's an Odin-flashable version in the OP here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s6-edge/development/5-1-1-blck-tw-t3096994
(this should allow you to maintain an "Official" status, according to SysScope, but have root access through ADB in the TWRP recovery)
- Get advice somewhere here (I'm sure there's plenty that know how to do with on Lollipop) on how to snag that Update.zip of the OTA.
If I'm wrong, and flashing the TWRP via Odin marks the system status as "Custom" then I'm sure there's a different order we can do this in.
Or maybe I'm just crazy altogether. It's been a long day. But in any event, there should be some way to obtain that Update.zip and share it with us!

- Make some good backups of your device (TWRP or otherwise) such that you don't wipe anything
- Use Odin to return back to stock.
- Install TWRP v2 via Odin. There's an Odin-flashable version in the OP here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s6-edge/development/5-1-1-blck-tw-t3096994
(this should allow you to maintain an "Official" status, according to SysScope, but have root access through ADB in the TWRP recovery)
- Get advice somewhere here (I'm sure there's plenty that know how to do with on Lollipop) on how to snag that Update.zip of the OTA.
If I'm wrong, and flashing the TWRP via Odin marks the system status as "Custom" then I'm sure there's a different order we can do this in.
Or maybe I'm just crazy altogether. It's been a long day. But in any event, there should be some way to obtain that Update.zip and share it with us!

Ideally we'd want them to have the update download and then use a root method that doesn't clear that cache so they could pull the update.
