Hello my friends,
I have a (big) problem
I wanted to install a new rom, but my device did not start up.
So I decided to flash it with Odin, but I forgot that the USB drivers are not installed, because I installed win 8 a few days ago and deleted everything. Odin didn't see my device and so I can't flash or start.
What can I do to rescue my phone?! thx :crying:
Can you go to CWM? If yes then go to mounts and storage and mount USB storage copy you desired Rom and reflash it using the pristine mode

If you haven't installed CWM yet, you'll have to either 1) borrow a friend's computer still running Windows 7 or earlier, or 2) install Windows 7 (or earlier) in VirtualBox.
There's alternative #3: bring your phone to SSC and tell them that the latest KIES update rendered your phone inoperable... you'll be without your phone for several days, though.

well!. i install the system img again without any problem, so thanks anyway!! case closed!
Please help! I have all of the following problems.
What's not working
- Samsung Kies, official Samsung drivers, AND "adb mount" or "fastboot devices" aren't working!
- My OS got wiped, and TWRP 2.4.0.0 always fails EVERY ROM install! I'm in a boot loop
- TWRP's Fix Permissions fails every time.
- I'm assuming it isn't rooted even though it was rooted before all of this happened, because every time I reboot TWRP asks if I'd like to install SuperUser. It never successfully roots the phone.
What's working (thank God)
- Odin can install various versions of TWRP or CWM Recovery
- TWRP and my stock Download mode work.
Other details
SGH-i747
Micro SD 64GB external
Windows 8 64bit with driver signing disabled
GRR. I want to throw my Android against the wall!
PLEASE HELP!!
s-off???? LOL
You need to Odin flash a stock rooted Rom. After it boots up, install goo manager from the market and use that to install twrp. If you want to flash a custom Rom, dl it and install it from directions in the first post of the Rom thread.

If you mean that anything you put in your usb ports don't work then i had that problem yesterday. Just get your windows disc you used to install your operating system and click repair ystem then restore your computer to atleast a week ago and you should be good, if thats the case.
all I know is I can't get ADB and kies to work on Win 7. I had to use Win 7 for it.

I assume you did not install a custom recovery???
If you did you need to download the right firmware package and load from the recovery.
You may try Odin 3.7 if you can manage to get into stock firmware upload.
Its not bricked - your recovery is probably a cwm - flash twerp if you want to install cm11 - or stock recovery..anyway cm11 is great but no phone...so not great for us 5100

Thw note cannot be detected anymore in pc. How do I flash or root again :3
Download and install Odin 1.85 next search the stock firmware for your model here http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
Get your Note into download mode ( Press and keep holding the Volume Down, Home and Power ) and connect it to your PC, Odin should "see" it the first slot under ID:slot should turn a different color if so you are in good shape, now put the Firmware you download from above mentioned site click PDA*button and select the downloaded .tar.md5 file, Important: In Odin, make sure Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options are enabled. Also, ensure that the Re-partition checkbox is not enabled and hit start and let Odin do the rest and you should be up and running in no time and now you can start over from scratch

Did you fix the problem?
I had some problems with sound and couldn't get anything to fix it. So i rebooted the bootloader and was going to hard reset the device. But i accidently hit the wrong one and it deleted my OS. I don't know how to put android back on and my computer won't detect my device. My bootloader is unlocked and i have Team Win Recovery. What should i do?!

You will need to use the ADB sideload feature of TWRP to upload a rom to install. Research ADB on how to use it as well as the sideload feature of TWRP. You will need to connect the tablet to your PC for this,.

NRT has and does everything you need:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2389107
As long as you can get the ADB drivers installed on your PC, you can click Advanced Utilities "Launch," then "Flash Zips" and select a rom zip on your desktop to flash to the tablet.
And as for adb drivers, here is a link to a post by Koush with a driver install that should work without any issues.

I've done what the OP has done, and if I recall, getting the device into download mode will allow Wug's Toolbox to pick it up from there. I reinstalled the OEM rom, rerooted and reinstalled TWRP. You can download the OEM rom from the toolbox.
i deleted setup wizard , launcher, and many system apps from the rom (titanium backup).
today i did a factory reset . and now my phone is stuck at the setup wizard, if i do any thing it says setup wizard has stopped.
i tried to flash a rom but the phone was on stock recovery, and my pc is not detecting my phone so i cant use nokia X falsher or any thing. tried to flash roms via stock recovery but that didn't help.
now what should i do. please help.
is there any temporary cwm that i can use via stock?? or any rom that can be flashed via stock recovery??
and i get this error : device descriptor failed (after upgrading to windows 10)
