modified SystemUI.apk from TDJ's DARKSIDE DIGITAL ANARKY/WARFARE ROM to show green icons in status bar when connected to google. not sure if systemui was altered between versions, so i made a flashable zip for each version TDJ released.
UPDATE: 2/17 WORKS ON 2.3

Thanks a bunch, man. I needed this. It's beyond me why TDJ didn't want to implement this in his ROM. Regardless, I'm thankful for his work and yours

Thanks for positive feedback but i am by no means an experienced themer. I am eager to learn so if anyone has a specific icon set they like (from another ROM/device) let me know and I'd be happy to try and port it to or recreate for digital warfare.. The best ROM out there for our SGS2.

Do you want the same gingerbread icons but with ICS colors, or icons from ICS?

How hard would it be to make the pull down match the notification bar? So it would be black with the icons green. And a transparent background

With that out of the way, I know a lot of people dislike the instability (though that's subjective) of AOSP ROMs like CM10, and just prefer to stay with TW. I personally think that the statusbar dropdown in touchwiz is hideous, so I've modified the current statusbar pulldown to mimic AOSP 4.1.1 (sans colors). Enjoy!

I didn't test the de-odex version, but can't see where there would be any issues with it. Let me know if you have any, if that's what you're using..

Tested on FE22 stock odexed (that's right, i haven't seen a need to update yet lol).
Flashed fine. It's clean, but i wish the clock was still there...to each his own though. (If you want to bring the clock back maybe center it)

The clock is still there, it just requires a quick pull down of the notification bar. I'm not sure I like it there yet, but I wanted to try something different.
Maybe I could make a few different versions.

Thanks for the input. I'll add the ROMs it is confirmed to work on in the second post, though it should work on all ICS TW ROMs. Never hurts to get confirmation.

You can still theme the ROM you're using, you just have to flash this over the theme. Downfall is it would overwrite all the SystemUI parts of the theme.
There are two other options though.
1. Send a friendly request to the themer to include this in heir theme. As long as they credit me, I don't mind a bit.
2. Pull their drawable-hdpi folder out of the SystemUI.apk and replace mine with it. You will lose some of the effect I went for this way.

Once I get this mod perfected, I'll make a separate full JB theme with this in it. Since the remainder of the JB theme will be mostly images and a couple of XML edits, that won't take long at all once this is completed.

Instructions
Once you download/flash the patch, open up the updater app your rom. Go to settings b4 you
try to flash anything. and make sure you check flip sdcard name in CWM if your on that recovery.
If you have problems manually install by going to recovery and the UpdateMe folder on your Internal
storage. Also if Updater Hangs which is no fault of mines just go into application manger and force
close/clear data, then go back to it and everything will be fine!!!!!!!!!!!

I would never cuss you out lol no worries...battery life for me has been great I flashed around 12 and I been on my phone all day music phone calls xda browsing the net and much more and I'm at 50%. But of course gotta give it some time to settle in

Only reason I can see that happening bro is if you installed the theme over top of another theme or mod that's not meant to be run with this theme.. I'm running and have been for over 12 hours with no issues so far.. try dirty flashing Jedi rom then reinstalling the theme after clearing cache.. see if that helps.

This theme is black and white based and small elements that incorporate parts of the city. It themes:

It should download automatically, I just tested the link and it worked for me

when trying to view the screenshots or previews they expand but nothing is displayed.

Are you sure? We have just checked and it worked for us, maybe you have some kind of ad-blocker on?

I am sorry its my work computer, don't know why it blocks y'alls photos for the previews but not most others.... checked though App & worked no issue.

To be honest, I couldn't tell ya. I'm mostly colorblind but I do love blue. Kind of a darker blue I guess. It might be called Royal Blue, but who knows. In my house i'm allowed to teach the kids any subject BUT colors! :silly:

Lol kidding, this zip replaces only images and nothing else so it doesn't have any apps or anything, you can either flash another theme, replace the stock apps from a ROM zip, or simply reflash your current ROM. Thanks for trying it out!
