Hello,
excuse my bad English!
The following problem:
I have v5.0.2.6 a HTC Wildfire S, with CWM-Based Recovery
and Clockwordmod 10th
I now want to install [ROM] [2.3.8] [OFFICIAL] [BUILD # 3] CyanMobileX.
What should I do, it's apparently just an update!
I tried to flash, but is aborted!
Recovery What do I need?
Rome which should I get?
On the exact course I am grateful!
Greats
There is no such ROM for our device.

Hi Everyone!.. New to XDA and it's really helpful.
However, I am unable to find the answer to my query...
I have a HTC Wildfire S. Great phone don't get me wrong. I updated the software to 2.3.5 and I've hated it ever since Everyone moans about the "lock screen" but I don't have a problem with that. It's the fact it's slower and I am unable to root it.
Hence my question.. can you downgrade a WFS to 2.3.3 from 2.3.5?
All help would be appreciated
Yes, you can.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1445867
you can do it , but also you can root it ! since you have an unlocked bootloader or s-off you can get permanent root using superoneclick , and flash custom recoveries and others !
downgrade from 2.3.5 to 2.3.3
hello i wanna know the procedure to downgrade my htc wildfire s.I also wanna know that will downgrading help in removing the "RELOCK" status of my phone to "LOCKED" for warranty purpose
. PLease help me I want my warranty
Guess what? It's old thread bump time!
My father wants to take my old Wildfire S (GSM) as I don't need it anymore ('updated' to Nexus 4). However I had CM7 on it and he disliked it for being different than Sense he knew from his Desire Z. I installed custom Sense 3.5 but he didn't fancy it either.
I can go back to stock 2.3.5 Android as I have it in my CWM backup folder in PC, but I know it will work similar to what I have now, that's why I need a tutorial how to go back to stock 2.3.3.
TL;DR - I must flash stock 2.3.3 on GSM Marvel.
Thanks in advance

but how to root new model of Wildfire S, i hv tried many ways but still not rooted my device.
As far i know the stock rom is the best for wildfire S. Other roms are still with bugs.
If you root, it will void your warranty. But you will have the admin rights of your phone in your hand. And You can solve the internal memory problem by using link2sd or app2sd.
How to root it: Search it here.

Thread closed as we don't allow such threads. There's no such thing as a best ROM.
Everyone who answers will all respond based on their opinion and nothing else. As we all have different opinions our posts mean nothing to you as you may completely disagree.

That depends on how its packaged. If you need to build it from source its assumed you will know how to make a flash able zip file. But most come as a .zip and are flashed from recovery pal.
