I am pleased to present the first Custom ROM based on my own blue theme concept !
BlueAndroid - A Real Blue Theme Concept !!!
About :
BlueAndroid@V01 is based on stock Archos Firmware 4.1.0 -> Android JellyBean ;
can be installed on any devices Archos Gen10 101XS, only if you have previously enabled SDE recovery !
amazing, clean, smooth and stable -> can be used as a daily rom ;
some applications -> updated to Android 4.2 core ;
Change log :
custom bootanimation !
root access ;
Superuser & su binary updated to the latest version ;
Fix Root access ;
USB debugging already enabled ;
deodexed ;
removed stock busybox ;
installed one new busybox with more applets !!!
increase speed by :
tweaks data( I/O );
tweaks ext4 partition !
tweaks database - optimized by sqlite3;
tweaks journaling ;
enabled init.d to run scripts ( all scripts on init.d directory will run automatically on every boot ! ) ;
custom windows animations ;
transparent windows ;
new custom blue icon & windows !!!
real percentage battery 100% !!!
some applications was removed ( you can download free - from Play Store ! ) ;
all app was updated ;
disabled : Archos Update ;
stock kernel ;

Please download from here all necessary files to flash this amazing rom :

Installation :
connect USB cable & check if USB debugging is already enabled !
put archos.ext4 in your device ( root directory ! ) , or using adb command :$ adb push archos.ext4 /mnt/storage ;
go to recovery -> Developer Edition Menu -> Remove Android Kernel ( if exist ! ) -> Flash Kernel & Initramfs -> copy here zImage and initramfs.cpio.lzo in the new drive that appears !
OK -> wait to reboot -> enjoy the new rom : BlueAndroid ! :good:
After the whole process of installing , please Reboot your device !

How this rom feels:
It is much smoother than the stock one.
For the moment the bug with Wi-Fi disappeared.
If you upgrade from an already installed rooted Jelly, you will have a nice surprise and notice that you your apps will not be deleted, well at least this was my reaction .

Backup current rom first !
If you are from ics / jb / etc you must wipe data / format system first , just like step at the first post .
But if you are from v1 and dont want lose your apps , you dont need to wipe data/system . You only need to wipe cache/dalvik & fix permission .
#P.S :
- if your rom is laggy at first boot , the solution is reboot to recovery , wipe cache/dalvik & fix permission

- then only black screen
- i try push home button screen on
- slide to unlock but screen tuen to black again
- and always like that
3 time restart manual

Deodex_10.6.1.8.zip WW - Version !
Switch_To_US.zip US Version !
Installation :
update your device to the last Asus Firmware 10.6.1.8 Android 4.2.1 ;
install TWRP 2.4.4.0 recovery - ! for new bootloader version ! - ( via fastboot method -> fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash recovery file_name.blob ! ) ;
put the downloaded archive on your device ;
go to TWRP recovery and choose Install ;
Wipe Cache/Dalvik ;
If you want to use US version , please apply patch Switch_To_US.zip !
Reboot System !
Now you have rooted & deodexed the last officialy Asus Firmware 10.6.1.8 !

If you want to use US version , you need to install WW version and also you need to apply a patch for US version !
Patch for US will be uploaded soon !
Modded Power OFF is still in the study.... not working the older 4.1.2 patch !

This patch by elesbb may give you a solution as it worked for Cromi who was based on 4.2 I think

Invalid Zip - Deodex_10.6.1.8
Anyone else having this problem.
The file downloads fine, twrp will fail when trying to flash, I tried to test the file in 7zip - failed also - The MD5 is fine.
I have a US TF300T,
I was already on stock and had TWRP 2.4.4.0-4.2 installed, so I just installed the swith_to_us, and it worked.

Yep. A problem with META-INF. I don't know if it cause a problem with recovery install, but i can't change anything in this zip. So, i give up.

After installing the Asus stock rom, you have to install the new TWRP.

Don't be afraid: usb icon miss now in recovery. It's normal. Use the tuto step by step and it will be fine.
After installing the new recovery, you can directly install the deodexed version.
MD5 is correct, but cannot extract sucessful

Version 10.6.1.15.3
It seems that the keyboard.apk and the launcher2.apk are corrupted in this file. Those were the only files that I was unable to get out of the zip. I transferred everything out and used a different keyboard and launcher apk and it seems ok again. Haven't flashed it yet though but the zip corruption errors are gone.
"This rom was tested on I9505 only , if you want to try it on another variant , use it at your own risk ! "
Note : This rom was created a time ago , but either me or @Alan-B weren't at xda , but now it's time
You are not allowed to take files from this rom without permission !

Installation Guide
1.You should be rooted
2.Use Philz or TWRP recovery ( last version recommended )
3.Download the files and put it in internal/External card
4.Boot in recovery , Full wipe recommended even on updates !
5. Flash the rom , choose your settings ..etc in Aroma

>>Yes but it is ,not recommended , it can cause some lags and make the rom instable . So make your good choice on Aroma

The dev @Alan-B is too busy with work , and not very active in xda , after i talked with him , he give me the permission to share the rom on xda and be as a maintainer in the thread :good:
I want you to know that i'm just 17 years old ( Almost ) , it mean i can't be here on xda 24/24 , or answer you late at night ..etc. I will have exams too , family... But i will do my best to satisfied xda community every day !

First of all thank you for reminding me the UPSM mod , i forgot our great @tamirda ..
And i don't forget anyone , every one contributed in this rom have been mentionned , i can't add some dev's to credits without any reason. I already thanked wanam , @Albe95 is my friend and a great dev , i always told him this , but he didn't contribute in building this rom , you can ask him if you want
I nerver forget the help of anyone , as i said in the thread , those days i was really sick so...

Hi,
Not of update Lollipop for S4, I passed in S5.
And Lollipop it is not terrible it is not still stable totally!
NB: My last one for S4 is the NK4 V48a

So , i don't know how to start , i created this thread hoping i will get some experience and make my first steps into ROMS's developping , but as i can see , i failed. I think this rom should be here long time ago but either me or Alan weren't here.
I will sadly announce that this rom is officially "DISCONTINUED". The last build is the current one : V48a.
As lollipop now is coming , and the main developper doesn't have the device anymore we can't have anything new.
So , I failed but i should move on , keeping in mind my own idea: " Every success is preceeded by fails".
I will do my best and hope i will created next time i thread that will not disappoint you xda community.
Have a nice day all and thanks to all the devs who gave us permission to use their files.
