After running ICS on the phantom rom for a good 4 months, I think it's finally time to switch over to JB and this seems like a great option. waiting to see what you have in store for us!!
Thanks so much for continuing his work!
Edit: Had a question but already answered it myself. Can't figure out how to delete my own post.
Is this 4.2 or 4.1, still?

Is the 4.2 camera something that can work in any AOSP 4.1.2 ROM?
No problems here! Smooth as anything! Can't wait to see what you do with this!
Many thanks for your work on this!

Does this have the same issue with the volume as all JB roms have?

Go to Voice Dialer and say "Open APN's"
Then hit the menu button and click add. You only have to create the second one. The first is already there.
I think I changed one thing on the first. Double check if it doesnt work.
Think you'll be able to port that CM10.1 ROM to our phone? Lol
Been working on it all day going to take a min though lol

is this for unthrottled data on T-Mobile?
I don't think anyone has ever had a problem with simple mobile's APN settings. They even have it on their website http://www.mysimplemobile.com/Support-Center-Phone-Programming.aspx

This is for Simple Mobile....
Within the past two days, I've noticed that the default Simple Mobile APN settings in CM9, which have a proxy and port specified, are incorrect. Setting both to empty restored my connection.
DOHCtor, I do not see the Galaxy Nexus in that list you linked to. That is precisely why I posted the information.

The Galaxy Nexus is an Android phone and those settings are for Android phones...
How many Android phones have you used on Simple Mobile? I've used 3 HTC Androids and 2 Samsung phones with SM. All Android phones do not use the same APN settings in the Simple Mobile system. I wish that were true but it is not.

I recently flashed 4.4 kitkat on my Nexus 4, and lost the APN settings. I used the 2nd on this list you have as it is on the Simple Mobile website; however data transfer was horrific, even at full bars. I ran a search online and found this post, and tried the first set of settings on your post instead of the 2nd, and my phone works as it did before; super fast connection, no data transfer issues.

Depends on your data plan on AT&T.
If you have the simple 3G smartphone plan, you can use the wap.cingular APN which is:
Code:
Name: Cingular 410
APN: wap.cingular
Proxy: Blank
Port: Blank
Username: [email protected]
Password: CINGULAR1
Server: cingulargprs.com
MMSC: http://mms.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS Port: Blank
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication type: Blank
APN Type: default,supl,mms
APN protocol: leave as is
Bearer: leave as is
If you have the Smartphone on 4G provisioned on your plan you can use the Phone APN which seems to be faster. My Nexus is provisioned for the later 4G plan and I combined my MMS with the Internet for one APN:
Code:
Name: AT&T HSPA+
APN: phone
Proxy: Blank
Port: Blank
Username: blank
Password: blank
Server: blank
MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
MMS Proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication type: Blank
APN Type: default,supl,mms,hipri
APN protocol: leave as is
Bearer: leave as is
You'll need to check on your AT&T plan to see what data plan you have. If you don't have Smartphone on 4G you can't use the phone apn. You have to use the cingular.wap one. I'm getting about 5 mb/s down and 1.1 mb/s up using the phone apn.
Hope this helps and remember the Thanks button!

Thanks for this. I searched the forums and whatever else thread that has the supposed APN info did not work. This though, works like a charm. :highfive:
Thanks! This APN for 4G worked on my T999 SG3 from T-Mobile that I just put on ATT. I managed to get 3.49 Mbps down from it. 4G icon. I guess this means my Iphone 5 LTE wont be used now lol.
It's not the APN, it's how the mms.apk was compiled. Download Go SMS Pro from the market, disable stock MMS app, go through the ADVANCE Settings in Go SMS. Find MMS Custom Agent & type "Android"
Done & Done.
I hope it works for you, too!

I was Not getting mobile data on my LGOG after flashing CM 10.2, and added the second APN listed here. I just tested, and down speeds are 9.85mb/s down. I'm not getting the 4G logo though? What gives? I've got the H.

I thought I'd post to keep the info available for posterity's sake (and, you never know... if I update from my stock rooted ROM, I'll probably need these settings somewhere). And it's the latest, soooo...
Its been the same if I'm correct..also I've had to reenter my APN so many times I remember it by heart lol

Those settings only seem to work on stock roms, maybe aosp roms as well but using M7 or serenity JB type roms data wont work, all the settings are ok but under apn settings use "default, mms, hipri" instead of the "internet + mms" and data should work. The internet+mms only seems to work on my gf's stock, non rooted ics phone doesn't work on my rooted JB

The ROM you're using shouldn't have any effect on the ability of the APN to work. The APN's are not based on the ROM you are using, rather they are carrier settings that determine if your phone will work on their network (I know you know that, I'm just stating the obvious so that *YOU* understand I also know what *I'M* talking about ).
Others will have to confirm if what you're stating is truly the case. Can anyone else comment, please?
Thanks!

I had a similar issue with MMS, but found this to help: try copying the "MMS proxy" to "Proxy" and "MMS port" to "Port" so that they're both populated with identical sets of numbers.
