You can easily do this on a desktop computer. But how do you do it on the Note 2?
Set the browser on your Note 2 to Desktop. Now go to YOUR Facebook page (go to www.facebook.com and then tap on your name) and hover the stylus on the bottom right corner of your Cover photo to let the Edit option appear. Tap Change Cover and then Reposition... On a desktop computer you can easily do this with a mouse but how do you reposition the photo with the stylus or your finger?

1: Turn off the animated weather on the home screen. I don't want any wallpaper
2: Rename the favorites tab to Contacts, and remove the whole favorites screen. when I go to that tab, I want to see the screen you get if you hit the "all contacts" button in the lower left corner.
3: remove the "Add push internet page" links on the internet tab
4: remove the mail preview on the mail tab. when i go to that tab, I want to see my inbox as if I clicked the inbox link in the lower left corner
5: get the tasks on the home screen
It looks like you would need to modify the tabs to make this happen, is that possible? All the searching I have done only show ways to change the pictres or colors, not to actually get at the coding that drives the functionality of the tab. Some guy coded a calendar tab for an older verison of TouchFlo but never says how he actually did it or what langauge/IDE he used, so it looks like it is possible.
Also, is there a definitive list of all the "hidden" tabs that you can turn on (like Sound Settings, CommManager, etc)
My multiwindow seems to be highly variable on how it will complete actions. Sometimes if I have an app like lecture notes open and pull out the drawer to the right and select chrome, it will open chrome as the side by side window. Other times it will give me an option to have chrome as a floating window above other apps. There are also times when I'll have both windows occupied with lecture notes and myscript calculator and selecting chrome will give me a floating window, but sometimes it will replace one of the two side-by-side apps. It seems really inconsistent and is quite frustrating. Does anyone know how the app determines how a new multi app will be opened? Thanks
If you tap the icon (as long as it's an app that can pop up) it opens it floating. If it can't it'll open side by side. If you drag it out it'll open side by side

I was wondering if anyone has discovered or knows of an app that will allow a document (word or pdf) to display as a widget or shortcut from the homescreen. Kinda like a mini binder. I have a bunch of schedules for work that I would like to display as a widget or something instead of having to open a viewer, search for the file, open and then close again.
I noticed two threads from 2012 with no answers; I'm hoping they were just forgotten about in the shuffle.

I just tried something on my 10.1 Tab Pro. In the "My Files" app, press down on a file until a marked checkbox appears. Then select the 3 dots menu on the top right. There is an option to "Add shortcut to home."
Unfortunately you can't select more than one file at a time though, you have to create the shortcut, then go back in and uncheck that one, and check another one, etc.
Any Google drive saved PDF docs are accessible.
When I open a PDF, it opens in the tablet with Acrobat and I can see it immediately and use it, no problem.
When I tap on the right side I can access all PDFs by next tapping Top Left corner and I see a list of recent documents.
How do I wipe out this list as many of these documents are no longer on my google drive but are still shown on the Recent documents
Have clicked on Settings but no Trash Can displays.
Have also tried to Hold Down finger on one of the many items in Recent documents in the hope that a Delete would show, no such thing.

Perhaps by clearing the PDF app cache in the settings menu?
When I access Settings via tap on the bottom left side icon, no such item displays

Clear data for the related apps from settings -> applications manager
...and just to be clear... That's phone settings sphuyal is referring to, Not the settings in Acrobat.
Hi!
I'm using a Galaxy Tab S5e as a smart home hub and am trying to utilize the entire desktop to fill with widgets, however there is a thick bar-area in one of the sides that is unable to populate (shown in picture). I have the pad reverted now but believe the empty space signifies that you wish to paste the widget in to a new page, however I only wish to use one side and if possible would like to lock that down and disable the feature to use two screens if that would alleviate the issue.
Does anyone have any tips/work-arounds to ensure that one can use near 100% of the desktop real estate?
