[Q]Problems with Wifi File Transfer app in RemPuzzle v2.40

I used the program wifi file transfer pro for a whole year i think,and now,i flashed rempuzzlerom v2.40 and it's not working,the program itself works,but when i type the adress in pc browser,it is said that the browser cannot find the adress :/ i tried another program like this and it have the same problem can someone help me?

I had this issue with the above mentioned app while on a different ROM.
I solved the issue by changing the Kernel.

can u provide a link to a good-working kernel?)

I'm afraid not as I have never used the RemPuzzle Rom - I would suggest putting a post in the ROM thread or trying one of the many Kernels listed under 'Add Ons' in the link below...

i flashed the kernel InfinityPLAY and it worked yaay! i tried 2 other programs and they work too)

damn,not working well,everything works well besides the wifi,it worked well bu then the wifi networks as the connection dissapeared does anybody know a good kernel for sense based roms?

Have you tried the Stock Kernel?

Nope( i wanted but even in rempuzzle's thread it is written that the stock kernel can reduce the speed/performance of the Rom.

I found the solution,i installed a HCDR Jacob's kernel v4.1 and it work wifi file transfer,here is the link:

seem that it's working!!! i tried too 4.2 and i had problems with wifi too,but i didn't tryed 4.1

[Q] root?

I have my Xperia play on build number 62 I want root to use titanium backup to get rid of the bloatware. Oh also my boot loaders locked and I'm not unlocking it as I did before and almost bricked my device pls help me to get root thanks.

I would download Flashtool if you didn't already have it and use it to root your phone. You can use it to flash ftf files without having to use the PC Companion and it has built in root functionality.

You can't root firmware .62 or above. Either downgrade to .58 or lower, or live without root since you're not planning on unlocking

that's also my trouble and i don't know why!!!!
i tried a lot of ways and didn't work so please help me also -_-.....

Help for Xperia S

I had unlocked my bootloader and set up my Xperia s with CM 9.1. As there were a lot of irregularities I wanted to revert Xperia s back to stock so I used the repair function from PC companion. Though everything seems to be back to normal but the facebook Timescape, download music info and I also think that the BE is not working (according to XDAians) but do find difference in videos and photos with BE enabled.
I would like my Xperia s back to stock with everything working like out of the box, no rooting no deodexing! Please help!

I would suggest reflashing with flashtool, download a stock firmware first ofcourse.
Its really easy and straightforward.

flash stock rom and relocked your bootloader or relocked bootloader update via sus.
for timescape - theres already a fix for that on themes and apps section
for download music info- theres a fix for that on xperia s development section
for BE - i think its still working, cause mines working

I don't understand your first question can you be more precise?
And that timescape fix worked
And the download music info thing is for the rooted phones mine is unrooted and i want to keep it that way!

please help,,,,,,,, after flashing carbon kitkat rom on xperia arc s lt18 i returned back to official software but first the battery stuck at 100 all the time ,,,,,solved with kernel ,,,the other problem people cannot hear my voice i did factory rest but people still cannot hear me the only way is to return again to rom kk ..... but i need ics for radio and hdmi ... any one faced this problem please help

this is kernel related issue try to change the kernel

How did you change to official Sony software?with ftf- file via flashtool?wich ftf did you use?try flashing again with kernel.sin checked. Else try to flash an rootet Stock kernel from kernel section.

i flashed LT18i_4.1.A.0.562_CUSTOMIZED-UK.ftf again but nothing changed i tried many kernel nothing changed i can record vedio ansd the sound seems good

Oh finally, someone seeing this..
in recovery? what u mean? installed recovery? i installed NUT dual recovery..
Is that the causes of all this?
Here another update of my issue
Worse than before..

When u work in recovery (stock / CWM / TWRP) it drains your battery... but i guess thats not your problem.. you could try re-calibrating your battery and if that doesn't work then take it to the service center..

weird, this startes to happen when i start after i install custom rom android 4.3 and stock kitkat.. This never happen when i was in stock 4.3, 4.2.2 or 4.1.2..
done callibrating it twice, battery still drop but it's better.. now it's drop to 0 when it reach around 15 or 20 unless before.. sudden drop from 60 to 0..
