Are you saying that your autorotate doesn't work? If so, other members have had success by running a rooted RUU.

Someone posted a solution in the codefireX thread a few pages back.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33524909&postcount=2015. Also look a couple post above that for the link he used. I'm not really sure of the S-ON procedure, though, or if it's different.

At me autoturn works at all rom put Official RUU_Ace_Sense30_S_HTC_WWE_3.12.405.1 STOCK ROOTED everything works perfectly doesn't work only at JB on one

[Q] Why does some ROMs cause the phone to bootloop?

Hi guys,
I'm not very skilled in flashing ROMs, but I do it anyway every other day or so as am curious on what new ROMs can provide. I now longer panic when the phone get stuck at the bootscreen. Now when it occasionally happens I now have time to thinking about the reason for the bootloop - and that's why I start this thread
For some reason there are ROMs that I'm not able in install, like the official nightlies from CM 10 and Liquidsmooth RC9 - but I have no problems installing the "pure" Jellybean 4.2.1 (AOSP), TripNDroid CM 10.1 and Blade v4 (desensed) which I'm currently running.
Can anyone explain why some are able to boot on my HOX and some are not?
For your info, I'm on the Tegra 3 version using HBOOT 1.36 S-ON - Recovery is CWM 5.8.4.0

I always do this - of course I can miss it sometimes. So I always trye reflashing if the phone get stuck in bootloop... But with the above mentiones ROMs I can't install them not matter what I do.

I think it may be caused by your hboot version: 1.36. You may need a special repacked boot.img to run some AOSP/AOKP/CM10 ROMs.

DO you Flash the correct boot.img ???

I always thought the hboot versions was backward compatible?
Regarding the boot.img -> then I alway extrat the boot from the ROM zip - and maybe that's the problem?

That is the problem. For example on official CM10 you need a special boot.img for higher hboots. See post #9308 in CM10 thread.

The fact of the matter is that most of the 4.2.1 based custom rom are compatible with HBOOT 1.28+ on the contrary to 4.1.2 based roms. For second ones U have to flash a special boot.img.

No, such thing doesn't exist. Every ROM has it's own workaround for hboot incompatibilities.
And every ROM uses a different kernel so it would be impossible.

[Q] Best Rom for Endeavoru in hboot 0.97

guys
i need your assistance, i have been running CM10 nightly (december) for a while now and i have an issue that during sleep the phone dies and doesnt do anything, not even alarm.
so to remedy that i need your guidance to the latest (cleanest AOSP like) ROM for HTC One X Endeavoru (Tegra3).
the catch is im stuck on Hboot 0.97, so that is the limitation.
Please your help.

Both use the old kernel sources and therefore should work perfectly.I recommend jellybam because of the wide range of tweaks.

Hi guyz! I have htc wildfire s.. please can some one give me the stock rom for htc wildfire s.. cause i forgot to backup my rom.. Idon't want to unroot or lock the bootloader again.. i just want the old htc rom with 2.3.5 android and 2.1 sense.. plz help me.. I'm from pak by the way.. so plz suggest me a rom

Assuming you have a working recovery why dont you simply flash a cm10/10.1 build and after a few days of reading threads try and flash kitkat!

Thnx for reply.. I'm already using cm 10.. it was woking well.. but suddenly it is'nt recognizing sim cards.. i flashed the rom again and it did'nt help.. some one suggested me to return to stock rom to solve this prob.

Thats odd, before i updated to kikat i was using the Owl project rom by Jdevs as a daily driver and i faced no such issues in the 4-5 months of use
I did have this problem once but that was because my phone fell down and sim card moved ever so slightly from it's mean postion. So after re-inserting the sim card, I rebooted the phone and it worked fine.
Try and do a clean install by wiping everything. Try the rom mentioned above. If that does not help i fear you may have damaged one of the tiny pins which read the sim card!

Thnx for reply.. Now I have solved the prob.. it was my simcard witch was broken and I changed the simcard form customer center I'm using CM10 with jelly bean .. It seems a bit fast to me.. as cm 11 is a bit laggy on my phone.. by the thnx for replies +1 to both
