[Q] Stock pit file? - Samsung Captivate Glide

Hi everyone
I messed up my unlocked phone by trying to upgrade it to ICS. Didn't work and now phone is permanently stuck. Recovery mode does not work. It just stops loading after a third. So after searching for 3 days to find the solution, I realize that I can try to reinstall my phone to try and get it to work again. However, it just gets stuck on NAND write start. After searching some more, I figured that I need a stock pit file for the captivate glide.
But I can't find one. Does anyone have a stock pit file for the captivate glide? It's an unlocked phone and it's from AT&T if that helps.
Thanks in advance

Flash this Latest Official ICS to your phone with odin, then flash CWMR ...

Thanks.
I'll try that.

Couldn't flash to ICS. Odin gets stuck on factoryfs.img
Thanks anyways.

I just dumped my PIT, but it occurred to me, how are you gonna flash it without bricking your device?
Try the UCLG9 OneClick as I *THINK* it overwrites the PIT, not 100% sure. If it doesn't work, I'll have to whip you up a Heimdall image. Hope you know your way around Linux...

I'll try that.
Thanks.

it does take a while and its not exactly uncommon for it to stick ... but the oneclick should work just as well

How long does the one click thing take normally?
I left it alone for a bit and the bar hasn't moved. It still says it's on factoryfs.img.

Using odin (or probably oneclick too) if you connect your USB through a hub, the install may not finish and just get stuck. If you're using a hub, try plugging the USB straight into a USB port on the computer instead. If you're not using a hub, you may try a different port (front instead of back or vice-versa of left side instead of right side if using a notebook) to see if that helps. Good luck!

factoryfs is big (600MB according to my PIT), and likely the first thing it flashes that's more than a dozen or so MB (every lower-numbered partition is 12MB max). I'd let it go for oh, say, an hour, before calling it hung.
If it IS hung, do me a favor. Put it back into download mode and run:
Code:
heimdall print-pit
And pastebin it here. I've got an ace up my sleeve, but certain partitions need to line up with my PIT for it to work.

Okay so if it doesn't work I go back into download mode and run that.
How do I do that?
I know how to get into download mode but I'm not sure how to do that.

You'll need a Linux machine (real machine, not a VM), and you'll need Heimdall 1.4RC1. You could probably run it off a LiveUSB; Heimdall uses an integrated userspace driver so it should work in root pretty much anywhere.

[Q] is my phone truly bricked?

hi all, so i flashed the new SFR today, i have odined and flashed and rooted several times so i have a good background with this stuff..
I decided to odin the EE03 modem.
odin hung on modem.bin, so i pulled the battery and i was going to try again. I cant start my phone now. it gives this image of a phone then an "!" then the computer.
i am now trying to odin the full ec05 tar to start over, and its not working. it hangs on factoryfs.rfs and the screen turns a single color. the first time it was red, then next try was blue, next try was grey, next try was totally black.
PLEASE HELP!

Sounds like you are sponged. Try a different cable, try a different port. Try checking repartition and put the Victory pit in. As long as you can get to download mode you are not bricked. There is hope. Have you used that tar before? Does it have an .md5 extension? If so remove it. You may try to redownload the tar. What version of Odin are you using?

i am afraid you might be right. my other two cables are not readily available, but i used the one i ALWAYS have used to odin. my main comp is a mac and restored an older XP laptop for the specific purpose of using odin, it only has one USB port (weird I know), but again, i've always used this, probably odined my phone atleast 15 times since i got it. I did check repartition every time i tried. I always use the victory pit. yeah i have several TARs saved on that computer, DI18, EB13, EC05, again i have used all these TARs before as they are old saves from when that respective build was current (i tried them all). I am not at my computer but its odin v1.61? does that sound right, it should be the current version.
I talked to my sprint rep friend, they have a different software package they use that is used like odin would be, so i might stop in and try that. beyond that i have never seen anything like this before.
it hangs on factoryfs.rfs for a few minutes (not unusual especially when coming from a EXT4 rom) then the screen on the phone turns a random solid color. Very, VERY uncool.
i am leaving the battery out to discharge anything left in the phone. I will probably try again tomorrow after work.
anyone else experienced this before??
Try the (non?)-imagionary button that I have.

This happened to me, and I tried it with a different computer... my screen was going Green and getting stuck on factoryfs.rfs
You can also try setting up Heimdall. It iis more robust than Odin.

Ol' Pete just flew in to that tooowwn, he was choppin up all the women's meat.
I had that happen to me once. That image is the download mode thinking it isn't plugged int. I just power drained it (holding down the power key with the battery out) and eventually got back into a connected download mode after about 3 or 4 min.
FIXED
well guys i left the battery out of my phone today to fully "uncharge" any extra electricity running around the phone.
just just got home from work and successfully odined with the battery left out of the phone.
remember i was always able to get the phone into DL mode, just that odin would not complete. so im FIXED! thank jeebus.
i was about to try this heimball, my question for that is when i was looking at screenies of the UI, there appears to be different slots for each partition of the phone? so how would one go about using this to flash ohh say.. the EC05 TAR i have sitting on my desktop

You have to use something like Winrar to pull the different sections out. Just learning this myself trying to Heimdall the EC05 modem in. I have to use winrar on the modem tar and pull out modem.bin.

I have read that 7-zip is best when altering zips. Has to do with 7-zip's ability to auto-convert the file exts. Saves tons of time when dealing with alterations. Probably doesn't matter if you use Winrar if you are just deleting or moving files though.

GSM or LTE Gnex? What ROM were you running?
Golden rule: Do a backup before doing anything to your phone!
Now all you can do is to download EXACTLY same ROM as you were using by now, wipe cache/dalvik-cache, flash this ROM once again and hope that i'll boot. If it won't you'll have to wipe /data is well.

ouch... softbrick.
put your phone down.
take a deep breath or two.
If you are old enough, grab a beer and relax for a bit. Think calming thoughts.
Now, start learning about how to mod your GNex. We can help.

Still have a bootloader? Are you serious? You need to learn how to use an android device as well.
To the OP: Do a factory reset in Clockwork and go to mounts
and format /system. Flash the ROM zip. Profit.
Absolutely serious. Have you been reading this thread? The OP needs to start at ground zero and stop just trying every tool he/she sees. My purpose was to get this person to do some research and I was establishing a knowledge baseline. One plan I was considering was to help the OP install the GNex toolkit then locate stock images and obtain a working build. Your cryptic one liner bit should prove vastly more useful to this guy though. I'll let you have at it and go back to my dev work. lol at least this post was a good way to make sure gapps/root capabilities are properly cooked into my latest test build ....

U r right i am not good in android but i tried to be and this happens, meanwhile nothing shows after i start the device it shows the !!!! mark with device the PC logo, this happens due to ODin actually the SUMSUNG ADB interface shows ! mark because i cant debug from device even no bootloader works any more thnkz for replying

OP, you are holding it wrong.
I can think of at least 2 ways to recover from a situation like this. Both are well described in these forums (search works 99% of the time).
....
Oh come on, you don't have the zip of the last rom you flashed, get another one, hey, its free right? **** we dont know nothing about but we'll flash it anyways!
Man...If you have cwm recovery, you're safe. No need to go messing with fastboot (forget odin) just yet. Now stop wasting everybody's time and learn to help yourself.
Here's a few tags to get you started:
cwm, recovery, adb, bootloader, fastboot

As I suspected earlier, it appears that the OP may have trashed his bootloader partition when he tried using Odin to flash the 4.0.2 factory image (which includes a bootloader). At one point he had CWM but not any more since he can't boot to the recovery partition.
Another possibility is that the Odin tool itself places the device in this mode and it can't be manually reverted by starting up in fastboot mode. Looking at the picture, it literally appears that the phone is saying that a flashing operation is half finished but the phone has lost the PC connection... This would be a lot like what I've experienced with iPhones.
In either case, I can deduce that Odin is the tool to use to clear this softbrick.
Hopefully, it'll be flame-off now Sdobron. Perhaps you might want to help out here since I'm not up to speed on the Odin tool myself and would like to learn more about it.
@salym: I know this may be redundant but I need to establish your problem baseline empirically. Once again, can you verify that when you hold vol down/vol up then press power that you get the image you posted?
Use Fastboot!
Dude, it looks like your problem is with crappy boot sector.
While turning on your phone, hold both volume up and volume down buttons, and long press power button untill you feel single vibrate feedback.
Then connect your phone to the computer via USB, and if it doesn't detect drivers, google "samsung android usb driver". Additionally you can install PDANet application (X64 or x86 depending on you system).
THen download Fastboot - there are plenty of instructions how to flash it, and flash stock images (that come with radio, boot sector, rom itself, etc) - there are also plenty of discussions about how to do it. PM if you have any other questions!

[Q] Heimdall to flash radio?

Hello,
I'm having some technical difficulties here and wanted to ask the community before trying anything else since I was afraid I had bricked the phone last night but upon leaving the battery out for the night and putting it back in this morning I am able to get back into download mode.
I am working on a Samsung Epic 4G and yesterday I used clockwork to flash a new MTD based ROM ( tried cleanGB and SleeperROM ) and it worked just fine and rebooted. After boot it kept rapidly trying to get service and in the menu you could see airplane mode rapidly checking/unchecking. I discovered this was because the phone still had the old DI18 and for these ROMs it needed EL30. I messed around with using Odin to get the radio on the phone and had no luck as Odin just kept crashing. I spent all day trying different combinations and a couple different cables. Later last night I found Heimdall and built it from source. I put the phone in download mode, connected it, and tried:
Code:
heimdall detect
It found the phone so then I tried to do a modem flash with it. I used the "EL30 Modem Only in BIN format" from here and the command:
Code:
heimdall --modem el30_modem.bin
and it appeared to work just fine. The device turned itself off...and stayed off. I waited a while and then pulled the battery after I could it to do anything by holding any combination of buttons.
So after pulling the battery for the night and then putting it back in I am able to get back in download mode.
I wanted to check to see what I need to flash with heimdall to get the phone back to stock (or ideally a newer version of android since it was running 2.1-update1)?
Also, to anyone familiar with heimdall, did I use that modem command incorrectly or did I leave out somethign else important?
EDIT:
I found these heimdall packages and downloaded the XWJVZ (2.3.6) version and flashed it with heimdall using the command:
Code:
heimdall flash --repartition --pit s1_odin_20100512.pit --factoryfs factoryfs.rfs --cache cache.rfs --dbdata dbdata.rfs --primary-boot boot.bin --secondary-boot Sbl.bin --param param.lfs --kernel zImage --modem modem.bin --verbose
it transfered the files and ended with
Code:
Ending session...
Rebooting device...
Re-attaching kernel driver...
and then the phone went black again. I can't get back into download mode again so I just popped the battery and am waiting.
Ouch. Definitely need to stay within the epic 4g forums for this stuff. If you're lucky enough to get back in to download mode, try these files instead: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1592994. Your heimdall command is fine, just extract the files from the FC09 tar. Don't forget the victory pit file.
::facepalm:: I just looked at the files I flashed again after reading your response. I can't believe I did that. I was in a hurry to get the phone fixed and got excited when I found the heimdall packages. I should have read it closer and realized it wasn't for the Epic 4G.
I left the battery out all night and I'm trying to get into download this morning with no luck. I even tried "battery CPR" which I saw others posting about (holding down 1 and power while putting the battery in). I've tried it without the battery plugged into AC and USB as well as with battery in on both of those two power sources.
This isn't looking good That is a really expensive mistake to make while unemployed, any other suggestions on ways to bring it back to life?

Leave battery and sdcard out plug cable into phone and computer try download mode.
Before somebody says the little button under the camera... there is no button. Have you tried leaving the battery out of the phone and just using the USB and the computer as a power source? If not youve got a hard brick. You'll need to JTAG it or send it to someone to get it JTAG'd. Otherwise say hello to your new paper weight sorry bud.

On top of that, it probably won't jump into download mode right away... keeping your fingers on the 1 and power button slide your battery in and out waiting 2 seconds in between in and outs... ya know, like your making love to it slowly with the battery...
Alright, I've tried every combination of buttons and power source I can think of and have been suggested, including "making love" to the phone with the battery while pressing it's buttons.
I think it is time to take it in to Sprint. I found another thread where a user took their phone into Spring without having equipment replacement (which we don't have) and got it replaced under warranty and paid $35 for a replacement. This phone is no longer under warranty though, does anyone know if Sprint is going to help me out if I take it in to a store after the weekend?
Otherwise I need to find someone to help me JTAG it.
You repartitioned with incorrect files for your device...
You flashed non Epic 4G boot loaders and a pit (partition info table) from the wrong device...
I'm afraid you are hard bricked.
This is the exact reason Heimdall packages were created (to prevent flashing files for the wrong device).
It would have been a better idea to use these packages (since they are actually for the Epic 4G).
Also you didn't have to build from source and use the cmd line, there are prebuilt install packages and a frontend UI you could have used.
A rather expensive lesson you have learned.
Good luck trying to get Sprint to help you out (not sarcasm, I do wish you luck).

Thanks for the response and pointing out the error of my ways, but I wish I would have found those packages you just posted earlier.
I compiled from source because it said:
Code:
NOT AVAILABLE YET – Please compile from source.
Platforms: Debian Linux (AMD64 / Intel 64)
Is it still possible to JTAG it as suggested above if Sprint won't help me? If so it looks like there might be users on these forums I may be able to pay to help me with that?

Ah yes, I see now the newer version doesn't have prebuilt binaries yet.
(I'm still using 1.3.1.)
As far as JTAG goes, I believe there are a couple people here at xda that have the tools/skills needed to help you.
I don't remember who they are off the top of my head, but I believe they offer a "service" (as in "paid for" service) to JTAG bricked phones back to life.
Only one name comes to mind at the moment and that's Adam Outler, but I'm not even sure he does JTAG for people.
Again, best of luck to you.

If you can't get the phone repaired under warranty, before paying for a repair (or buying a new phone), I definitely recommend trying a "custom jig". I don't know about the Epic 4G itself as I don't own one, but other Galaxy S devices have two secondary bootloaders on them that rotate each time you flash the device. The custom jig will swap the bootloaders and hopefully allow you to boot into download mode.
This^^^ the jig will jump you right into download mode if you do it right (if you don't you could fry the board).. I've done it a few times... possible and not that hard.... you can find a premade jig online for about 2 bucks or so...

Well, there you go.. I was not aware that using a "jig" would rotate between the two secondary bootloaders. Thanks (as always) for chiming in Ben!
The jig consists of a mini USB plug with a 301k resistor connected between pins 4 and 5. That is, as long as Ben is referring to the same thing I'm thinking of.
(I'm going by memory, so check the forums for the correct resistor value before making one.)
I actually have one of these that I made and don't have a use for any longer.
PM me if you'd like me to mail it to you (no charge).
Let me know and good luck!
ps- IDK how a jig could fry the board, but the one I have / made has been tested and works fine (I even have some pics I took while making it).

[Q] i9250 shows a phone connects to a computer icons and a yellow triangle

Hi, experts, help needed here.
My galaxy nexus (GSM version) was 4.0.4 perviously, then I OTA it to 4.1.1 and my phone's unlocked but never rooted. After OTA to 4.1.1, everything works fine for couples months. But about 1 week ago, when i tried to update an App then an odd thing happeded, right after i pressed the update bottle, screen fliker happened, then the phone stopped responds, after I pull the battey out then put it in, the phone just kept restarting over and over, only showed me an google logo with a un-locked icon...
I tried to get into the recovery mode and flash it with the Galaxy Nexus toolkit for whatever 4.0.4 or 4.1.1 version factory images, but everytime right after starts, then screen fliker occurs and then the toolkit just hung there. - and this even occured while i tried to wipe the phone.
I tried to use the odin tool as well, but still, everytime right after start flash, screen fliker occurs and odin hung there. And the worse thing is, after my last try with Odin, now my phone is showing a phone connects to a computer icons and a yellow triangle...
Is there still a hope? Thanks in advance.
My guess is Odin messed up your partitions. Can you still access the bootloader?

no.. prevously i can access it, but now, only the yellow triangle and the phone and computer's icon shows up.
what can I do? :crying::crying:
not sure if it would be wise to suggest this, but you could try omapflash. I'm curious about it myself, I guess I'll start looking into that. if it has power like nvflash, not sure if that would help, since you have no backup of your "good" partition table. If you have the guts, of course. I would just return the device in to warranty. :victory:
edit: first google hit, title says "gt-i9250", the gsm version, don't know what you roll op.
edit2: read the whole thread. pretty useful insight right there.

Yup, OMAP Flash should work.
EDIT: Actually, I just re-read the post above: Odin generally will work if you see the screen with the yellow triangle. If not, use OMAP Flash and then re-try Odin.

hmm, i forgot that existed.
seriously, i think that a lot of the issues i see in that thread are probably caused by windows.
maybe OP's device's xloader/uboot went down the drain?
edit: found another good post on this. bookmarked.
edit2: and some more right here.
edit3: Naturally, I deviate away from toolkits or batch scripts, so I'm trying to look at this like nvflash. One thing that I read is that Omapflash commands are issued on the target instead of the host like fastboot, so that is making my mind spin.
edit4: here. "OMAP4460_TUNA_8G_HS_PRO 444007 01 HS" - 8G probably means hardware revision, the one we see in bootloader. HS could be High Speed device. Nope, High Security.
edit5: how many edits this going to have... "OMAP4 Jellybean Release Notes" - omappedia
edit6: totally different idea. OP, do you have an OTG cable? Because we got something called "SYSBOOT"
edit7: this is the most interesting thing yet. i'm salivating right now.

First of all, thanks for all the replys, that really fresh my mind..
For your addition information, yes, odin does recongnize my my while I connects to the PS, I guess the SCREEN FLIKER may be caused by the wrong odin tar packages... For my current situation, which version of the system should I flash? 4.0.4 or 4.1.1 or it doesn't matter? Besides, do you know where can I download a full packages of Odin flash packages which includes the partion table as well? Sorry to ask this stupid questions here cause I'm a newbee here and this is my first Android phone...
I've never used odin but I bookmarked this post just in case (I haven't seen any 4.1.1 ODIN repacks)

You shouldn't need a partition table. It will work without one. And you can use either a 4.0.4 or a 4.1.1 tar. Both should be available in the dev section. Make sure you pay close attention to which boxes need checks in them - never put a check in box related to repartitioning.
For future reference, I would always recommend to use fastboot before resorting to odin. Less chances of you getting into the situation that you are currently in.

here is the update of the problem.
OMAPlash doesn't solve my problem at all, I run the defaullt omap4460_tuna_hs_pro.txt script, it looks like flash something to my phone but the problem still there.
I tried redownload some odin packages into my phone, but still screen fliker happened...
Any other suggestions?
from what i've read, you now have the ability to enter the target, omapflash commands are issued on the target, not on the host.
you can feed the device the x-loader and uboot, which will then give you fastboot, restoring then a factory image.
someone that has actually done the whole procedure or has more info on this, please share.

Hey Could you please maybe explain how to go around this? I currently have a yellow triangle brick on my Gnex but it does get detected via USB on Odin so if there is a fix I would like to know!
Thanks in advance!
If I were you, I would just use a jig to get it into download mode, then just reflash. I dont think it will take a flash with that boot error.

Hey guys thanks a lot for your replies! I don't think I got the severity of the problem across well enough. See, the phone was in bootloop but everything was going fuzzy all the time (including recovery) and the recovery mode was corrupt it wouldn't let me clear cache! and while it was running the clearing process, all I could see was yellow lines of errors saying cache cannot be mounted. After loads of failed attempts of trying to flash Stock ICS and Jellybean (Yakju, without wallet) the phone decided it wanted to brick and so didn't turn on at all! I found a forum online (http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f63...-i9100g-via-usb-cable-freeeeeeeeeeee-1465412/) which gave me the OMAPFlash method with which I unbricked the phone and got it started a couple of times. I tried to then flash stock again via fastboot, it didn't work it simply couldn't send files to my phone although the phone was connected because it was detected under fastboot devices. After this, I went into download mode and tried to flash using Odin, however, this crashed and the phone crashed too which required me to pull the battery out. From then, all I get is > phone!Pc < and now the phone is detected via USB and via OMAP but the OMAP doesn't bring me back to fastboot its stuck on that yellow triangle screen!
Again, Thanks a lot for all your help! If I don't get this sorted in a few days I'll be sending it to Samsung!

Pretty Sure I Hard Bricked - HELP!

Day before yesterday, I tried to go back to stock. Must not have had the right ROM or something. Long story short, phone doesn't turn on. Computer will make a noise letting me know that it has been plugged in though. Under device manager it comes up as...
Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM7)
So, hard bricked? Tried pulling the battery and everything else. So I guess, can anyone point me to a guide or explain here step by step what I need to do? I did some searching and found various guides, all of which seemed to differ. Looking for a good solid answer. I have a Jig on the way but not sure whether or not it will work.
THANKS ALL

What was your phone on prior to attempting to flash stock (bootloaders, ROM)?
Also, what did you try to flash?

He posted more info about this here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=54466247
As I pointed out there, even though I've never seen it show Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader, it does match what we do often see as QHSUSB_DLOAD.
@nbar7655, you also confirmed the red led in your last post, so yes it is bricked, and as suggested you're only option is to try the debrick method. If that doesn't work, the only other option is a jtag service. The jig, while good to have, will not help in this particular situation.

Thank you. I did make this post just because I felt that it should have a post of it's own and I shouldn't sit on someone else' thread for too long haha.
So, my only option is through the debrick img, correct? Any ideas where I can grab one. I believe I know the steps to doing it. (Throwing it on an SD card) but I seem to find different debrick files all over the place. THANKS!
I agree about not hijacking that firmware thread for this, so no big deal.
This is the thread I was referring you to:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47984104
It gets confusing because everyone creates a new thread for every brick just about. But since yours happened while on 4.3, try using the debrick.img provided in the OP.
If it doesn't work, don't give up. Many people have had to make several attempts before it would work. It may seem a lot, but id try at least 6 or 7 times before giving up on that image and looking for another.
OK and just to double check, all I have to do is write the image to the sdcard, pop the SD card into my phone and then (attempt) to power it on?
UPDATE: OH MY GOD! Got it into recovery!!! Where do I go from here? Lmao
UPDAT2: Ok, so I can boot into what looks like stock mode but I am sure that I am only booting from the SD card. So at this point, do I run odin and flash a stock ROM?

Im assuming you used the 4.3 debrick.img correct? And is it booting into stock or a custom recovery?
Either way, try to reboot download mode and Odin flash the MJB firmware. (Don't forget to take out the sd card first). Hopefully, after the flash completes it'll reboot right into the OS. You were on aosp before, right? You may need to factory reset to get it to boot all the way.

Where can I find that firmware?
My bad, I am assuming from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2540998
If so, what exactly am I grabbing from that?
Also, any files that I grab from there...ODIN doesn't see them because they aren't the correct file types? Maybe I am not grabbing the correct ones?
Well, the firmware I had in mind is the same that is in the thread you first posted in. Try redownloading it and flashing again. Ill try to find an alternative if you prefer though.
I know there is a method where you first flash recovery with odin, then flash the firmware from recovery. Id have to locate the files needed though. (The thread you linked to may have exactly that though. I will look closer in just a bit)
Ok, if you want to try another way, go to this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52341560
Download the one that says to flash with custom recovery.
Now, using Odin, flash TWRP or CWM recovery.
Now reboot to that recovery and flash the package you just downloaded.
Factory reset.
Reboot.
If it tries to boot, but hangs or goes straight to recovery, download the other package from that post and flash it in Odin. Then try to reboot again.
Basically, if you follow the instructions in thst post from start to finish, you should be able to boot up to stock 4.3. If you do not flash the last part in Odin (if you stop after the recovery flash), hopefully your device will be able to boot into whatever you last were running. It would probably be best to go back to full stock though.
Good Luck!

When trying to flash this in CWM: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=f...c22e9070f53359adf81131967fe536789e19937d7b610
I got an error (status 7)?
Update: Got it installed. Problem was that I had it stored on the SD card instead of the phone storage.
Update2: Currently sitting at the white screen with the AT&T logo. Will see if it gets past this in a few minutes. If not, I'll reboot into recovery and flash the stock ROM.
Update3: BOOTED IN!
Update4: Going to try to now boot without the SD card to make sure it isn't still booting from that!
Update5: SUCCESS! I can now boot from the system itself!!!!! ALL SEEMS GOOD!
You guys here are undoubtedly the best people around. Awesome responses and spectacular help! HOW DO I DONATE?!?!?!?
That's awesome news! Really glad to hear you got it working again! As for donations, many people will have a link under their name on each post, or on their profile. If you can't find this for someone you can always PM them and ask if they have a PayPal or other account they can accept donations with.
