Same here on the regular Tapatalk app. Says something about a security error and user not having permission to use those functions. Getting frustrated.

Improve search function

First let me just say how much I appreciate xda, because without it I would never have given android a chance. The only thing I would like to see in the xda app is the ability to narrow a search down to forums, it would help immensely when searching for info on a particular device

My apologies, I missed that you wanted that in the xda app. Not possible there, only through the website. I would suggest however that you post this request in the stickied thread in this forum named XDA Android App Problems/Bugs/Features etc
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=841646
Thank you and sorry again for missing that.

Your is at least the second question on this subject today!
It does get very annoying to see these threads being opened almost daily, when a simple search will reveal the answer.
Regards,
Dave
Note: Not picking on you specifically! Just a general observation that most newbies to this forum seem to be search-averse!

Thanks. I can't dev but I help where I can. You can use this tool to do the same:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andromo.dev80417.app176212 or just use the website. It's fun for a bit of light hearted sarcasm.

but than people wont get to ask the same repetitive question 10 posts in a row or heaven forbid they have to page surf for an answer
I've found that a lit of searching has to do with using the right keywords

Yes, but look at the general and q&a, you will see 2-3 which rom for my wife/gf threads near the top. If you are a member and can post, simply looking first would answer the question. I was a noob once too. Still not a pro by any means. I just encourage people to try first, as the forum itself asks the same. Often a search will answer a question quicker than asking and waiting for replies.

If that was directed at me, am I to assume sarcasm is lost? Because if you can't find it, I would direct you to the first post in this thread. It's right there.
Also, if you check the threads I referred to, I did give my opinion. That was my point. I and several people had answered the question already, more than once, yet people still insist on starting another thread.

Is the jellybam version 9.2.0 ROM

for T989 for T-mobile and is it a good ROM does it have any flaws?

That rom is not spoken of here. And they'll close your thread soon.

They broke xda rules. Their rom was a copy of pac man. I'm sure there is more to the story than that, like attitudes when busted, but that's all I know for sure.
Threads about them are closed and links to them removed.....as soon as a mod sees them.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
I've never heard of them. It's unfortunate that anyone seeking information will get a thread removed.

Now I'm even more confused. Searching for JellyBam takes me to a bunch of XDA threads. It doesn't seem very "banned".

And more than likely put up a stink when they got called out on it....to get XDA so mad at them.
Bottom line....I wouldn't bother with them....pacman and pa are just about the same thing....and have xda threads and support.
Actually, PA seems to be using their own website now....I wouldn't bother with them either.
