This is request for rom makers. Since i dont have much experience in rom making( i can only edit roms) i wondered if some dev here coud make nice hd rom without sense launcher, widgets and stufff. kinda hybrid rom. hd roms have nice menu, camera, gallery , contacts, but sense is slugish. there was one rom like this but its not updated anymore. with this request comess the poll so we can see if the people wants it
just install a hd rom and a different launcher and set it as default, and then you wont have to fill a dev section with those general questions
or ask the guy you say is the best

yeah but its not update anymore
download baadnewz's rom. Download you're (or her's) preferred launcher, then using adb or root explorer or titanium backup remove Roise & any roise widget.
That's it I think.

About which keyboards from which android versions are you talking about?

You can allways download the gingerbread keyboard (by Steven Lin) from the market and use that as your input method. It`s my preffered keyboard.

You are using Desire HD? Then you are in the wrong section
But to answer your question, I assume that the original keyboard you are referring to is the one that came with the phone when you bought it right? That is the HTC IME keyboard.
Seach for HTC IME keyboard on the forums. There is a thread for it and you can even customize the looks if you want.
The keyboard that's on the CM7 rom is actually the official android keyboard.
Thanks guys appreciate it

Does anyone have a working .apk for the stock Sense keyboard that I can run on AOSP? Specifically the one from a Sense 3.5 ROM?
I'm running Codename Android and I love it, its stable, its fast, its a good DD. The only issue is the keyboard is tiny in ICS. I love the Sense ROM keyboards and text prediction (The T9 keyboard works great for texting on the go and while mowing).
I've read threads about people extracting the keyboard and associated components, but they all seem to be running it on different Sense based ROM's and people running AOSP claim it doesn't work for them.
Any ideas?
Worked for Sense, not AOSP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1462460

There are already devs that are working on HTC roms / port / interfaces , as far as i understand , it`s very hard to make it happen.

I wanna an HTC One ROM. HTC One using Sense 5.0 as home launcher, i belive in Sense 5 for MDPI. Developer please do that. Only wait to the Sense 5.0 Launcher, found sense 4.0-5.0 keyboard, mod statusbar and toggles, music player from sense, and other soft. I can wait. But OldDroid and other cool developers can do that. Developers, if you want to do this rom please base it on jelly bean or key-lime-pie. Thanks. <3 all developers.

Hello my friends I'm a new member, I want a keyboard .... Galaxy Tab 3.7 as well as the best supported Rom or Kernal to provide the battery and the speed of the machine,,, thank you my friends
You should go to the Android development forums for your device and search for good roms/kernels. I would recommend the deleterious rom or the fast dream rom. For the keyboard if you mean a app keyboard other than the normal one I would use either SwiftKey or Google keyboard.
