Yes, you can but on JB the Camera and the Gallery are both the same app so to remove one of them you have to get a camera replacement too.

yes, i just wanted to say that if he removed the gallery he will cause the removal of the camera too. So he'll have to get a camera replacement too
But if u remove some system app u will get bootloop so remember before u remove an app u must have another app to replace

Actually some system apps are not replaceable, only the minor stuff like music players, file managers, media surfers etc other than that you might affect the Rom itself. That's why people say ALWAYS MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP in caps so that others can see it lol

Are you talking about the way you unlock the phone? Or the picture on the lock screen? And yes you can do whatever you want to the rom as long as you are not redistributing the work without permission.

You can modify it however you want without permission as long as it's for your own use... But if it's a valid mod then you could probably get permission from the rom creator and post the (mod) in the dev section

I've tried every method of flashing the Camera, including this package, and I still get a force close every time I open the Camera or Gallery. I was able to fix the FC for the 4.2 Clock, but this thing is just so stubborn.

I've deleted the old Gallery app, but I don't see a Camera app anywhere, not even in the system/apps folder. I assumed it came bundled with the Gallery app.

I think it means the rom u using tells the market place ur a totally different phone. I know they do have a fix. Ask in ur rom area

Did you change your DPI? That can cause problems with Google play. I've heard in general, there has been this issue on CM10

Lol, meant LCD density. Makes your icons smaller, allowing to have more on your screen. If you don't know what out is, you didn't change it

Download something like root browser lite from the store
Navigate to system/app and delete the apps you don't want....

That's not a problem, or something like this... We have something about 1 million apps on Play Store, at least one will fit your necessities. So, don't be afraid of lose some apps, you'll find many apps better than the one in stock rom on Google Play Store.
