Best cpu manager app?

What is the best cpu manager app, to use governor, modified frecuency and that things?

i use setCPU to change my cpu settings

I stay using ComfortStock v2[ICS], but I will change this for LegendStock Rom v3 this night

Covenant Kernel RC3​
This is an all new kernel for AOSP(JB or ICS) roms built from source.
I have decided to take over building an all new kernel for CM10 and other AOSP roms to reduce the work load from the greatergood.
But make no mistake about it, thegreatergood helped tremendously in getting me where i am on overclocking and voltage control.
So smack his thanks button as much as possible.
The covenant kernel is the first of many new releases from my newly formed team, The Covenant. Memebers consisting of- "thegreatergood",
"Bo0st", "terinfire", and myself. We are still recruiting members who can contribute in there own skilled way. So if you think you would like to, and can contribute to the Covenant team hit me or one of the other team members up.

Boots up well..
No Boot animation..
slightly longer boot time..(Or feels like, as its only Samsung from start to end)
wipes up cache during flash..
Usually not seen it while installing any kernel..takes a lot of time to rebuild..
Can you remove it.. ?

Um yes.. boot animation runs.. this only works on CM10.. I tested it 25 times. Booted up in seconds and boot animation ran every time. This will not work on stock ICS based ROMs.

As the title says.. AOSP.. only for CM10, CM9, AOCP, AOKP, PAC-man, ect, ect... ONLY AOSP roms

oh, Time to change back..i am on stock ICS..
In Stock ICS,
Not able to pass lockscreen from second boot onwards..
phone gets struck and hangs.. also does not charge..

If I need to explain it you don't need to flash it.
Means you can enable wake lock in settings if supported..

Just a quick question! overclocked to 1400mhz? is that safe? I was having trouble with litekernel clocked to 1.28!! and heat issues while running google maps. and how does that affect the battery life?

Its completely stable.. been running it at 1400 with smartassV2 and has been flawless .. not even gotten warm...

Do you mean these wakelocks? If yes, I doubt that there is any Android release having such an option. If you disable wakelocks, almost nothing will work on the system.

I am not a noob at this I've been flashing roms for a long time and I've never seen the tweak wake lock enabled and I've only seen wake lock referred to as apps or other things keeping your phone awake and killing battery
I'm not trying to be rude i was just curious

Looks awesome! Is that 750mv at 1400Mhz? I cannot imagine that would be possible, the lowest voltage at the highest frequency. If it is, then the covenant really does work miracles!

I'm using Yoon.Kernel 1.6 and it's work good :good:

Set it to interactive then install Seeder. Works like a damn charm.

No. Its free for XDA users . Go to the search all forums search tab and search for it. CHEERS!
Interactive is my first choice if it comes to the original kernel.

It depends. Sometimes user feel faster with a custom kernel but sometimes not. It depends on some users configure the custom kernels.
For me using smartassv2 + sio scheduler even on 1ghz max freq it feels faster than stock ondemand / conservative. And sometimes it affects from the kernel developer who really have finished optimised their custom kernel or not.

I believe that we have a great CPU with 1.4 Ghz ,, So all the games problems is comming from the RAM.. So i think that Yoon Maxmem Kernel (4xx Mb RAM) Is the best for gamming ,, but remember it don't have working camera

I'm using CM9 rc2 + Honeyx Kernel and some tweaks and mods, with this combination I get 6358 points on antutu benchmark, one of the bigger scores for this phone. When I overclock the CPU to 1.8GHz and put Aggressive in Seeder, I'm enabled to run all games I want without lags.
This rom is awesome with pics too.

Yes! I'm using greenify and seeder, and Touchwiz mods.
My phone is rarely hot, almost all time he's normal.

with 1.4 GHz i reach 5800 or 5700 on oneofakind hybrid 25.1 .. but my phone costantly Hot... so i don't know if would be better go on JB or this cm9 rc2.. do u deleted some System apps or not?

All JB roms that I've tested don't gave me the stability and smoothness like CM9 rc2 gave.

The same for me. That´s also the reason why I finally created the 7up kernel for RC2. The only reason I moved to CM9 final was because many people requested a 3.0.x 7up kernel for it. The only advantage the final is having is MTP and OTG but well. I´m not using OTG and MTP is still sometimes causing troubles. Therefore I still am using mass storage mode in CM9 final.

Tweak is of optimization. Tweak can means Overclock, Debloat, RAM optimization, etc
On cm11 tweak (Overclock) is optional because not everyone need high-speed CPU. but Ram optimization in needed by me.

For overclock just flash one of the kernel availabe for CM11 (k2wl's Evolution kernel or xenon92's Nebula kernel)
then press the build number in "about phone" 7-10 times (im forgot). The performance setting will appear in settings menu (not "about phone"). Grant superuser if asked. then change the governor or cpu clock. JUST, dont overclock your cpu too high because its only drain your battery quickly and shorten the CPU life
