I think the goal was to keep these apps at standard dpi because of the weird looking button/label/location ratios at lower dpis.dial pad- calculator-camera-etc.
its why when adjusting to lower dpi via build.prop, and flashing a lower dpi(240) version that preserves the overall size of the button layout....lost my train of thought there.... u can sorta see what I'm gettin at eh?

Changes do take on the fly.. if they don't. After saving and ticking restart app.(sysui)just hit the settings button at the top right when editing an app . It will take you to the application settings - kill the app(force stop) then go back and hit play(open app)
Some apps wont respond to the restart app option! So you'll have to kill em manually(ie sysui)

Unfortunately I'm not having success so far. Installed Xposed framework apk successfully, clicked on Install/Update, rebooted --> Device gets stuck on boot animation forever. Tried it on both Jedi 7.2 and cmenard 4.1.2 LK7 base, both with the same result. On both cases I was using Bullet kernel though - will try again with the original kernel from the Jedi ROM and update here.
Update: No luck with Saberkernel either. Might be Busybox issues - will continue to try
Update 2: Still no luck. Guess I'll have to give up on that one unfortunately. If anyone has the same problem and finds a solution, I'd be grateful to know. Thanks!
I'm also on stock LK8

[MOD] Signal Status Bars in the AT&T leak.

FIRST OF ALL THANKS TO rovo89 FOR Xposed Framework!
Okay, I was playing around with Xposed framework, and found out this mod makes my signal bars display bars!
Here are the steps!
1. Install Xposed tweakbox and Xposed installer (Links below!)
2. Open up the Xposed installer. Install the libraries by pressing the "install/update button". It will NOW ask for SU permissions; allow.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
IMPORTANT: You need to allow SU permissions when it comes up. If it doesn't come up at all it means you do not have SU installed. In the Jedi Jelly ROM, open up SuperSU and it might ask you to update the SU binaries. Please allow them and then it will install.
3. Go to the modules tab and enable "Xposed Tweakbox", assuming you've installed it from the other steps above. KEY STEP EVERYONE MISSES! Sorry for not putting it up in the steps!
4. Reboot.
5. Open up Xposed tweakbox, go into Status Bar, and set the bars to 5.
6. Reboot.
7. IMPORTANT: Enjoy!
NOTE: When you revert to 4 bars you'll have no bars.
Xposed Installer: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
Xposed Tweakbox: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1629653
Bugs
• Setting it to have 6 bars really is the same as 5 - What I mean is that if you had no signal, you'd have 1 bar.
• Changing it from 5 - 4 bars doesn't enable the signal bars for 4 bar mode

Yeah, I just got that same thing when I opened the app for a second time. I just hit Ok & it went away, I mean, I'm not going to be on a rom that I already chose & then have an app suggest to me another rom, lol. That app probably made by pa team. Anyway, hit either one, ok or install pa. Your choice. I don't use that app at all anyway. I don't even use halo, nice feature but....

Hitting okay should get rid of it. Halo is originally a PA app.. I don't use Halo either, but I have tested that and it should be fine....

How to Customize App, Menu, & Settings Backgrounds on Your Samsung Galaxy Grand
Thanks will be appreciated :good:
Here we go:---------
Step 1: Make Sure You're Rooted
You will need to be rooted to install the Xposed Framework onto your Galaxy Note Grand. If you're not already rooted, then first you have to root your galaxy grand
Step 2: Make Sure Unknown Sources Is Checked
Since you won't be getting Xposed from Google Play, you'll need to have Unknown sources checked. Enable it by going to Menu -> Settings -> Security and checking it.
Step 3: Install Xposed
You'll need the Xposed Framework to make Xbackground work, so...
1. Download and install the Xposed Installer APK onto your device.
2. Open up the app and select Install/Update to ensure you're on the latest version.
3. Reboot your device.

Step 4: Install XBackground
Once you've got Xposed on your device, download the XBackground APK and install it as well.
Step 5: Activate XBackground
Head over to Xposed Installer, tap on Modules, and check the box next to XBackground.
Step 6: Change Background Settings
Open XBackground and change the settings for Holo Light, Holo Dark, and Notification Panel Background. For each one, you can change the color of the background to whatever you want.
If you don't want to use a solid color, you can select your own custom image from your Gallery and put that as the background instead (which I personally prefer).
Once you're done, reboot your Grand once more; changing from a color to an image will always require a reboot for the change to appear.
Step 7: Explore
Now, the background of your device and apps should be changed to whatever color or image you set it to. Below are two screenshots of the Notification panel (left) and my Settings (right) on the Galaxy Grand
And that's all there is to it.
Edit: If pulldown notification does not change then do with xblast tool
Where is the link....????

Keyboard working great. Check out the apps section
I can make a mod to include the new font?
So for example, you could select it from settings? Would that work?

What rom are you running now? How many fonts are in your chooser?
If you have a modded font pack with 400+, it may be hard to figure out which ones are new.

Is the one you made the same? Or should we delete the current and flash?
How'd you get the smiley instead of the enter key?

Umm, I don't know how the key is different. Its the same one. I'm currently running tweaked nf1. That screen was from hangouts. This is what it looks like now.

I whipped up a CWM/TWRP flashable ZIP to enable the Android L boot animation. Flash tmo_kk_androidl_bootanim_n900t.zip if you want to leave your current boot sounds, and flash tmo_kk_androidl_bootanim_n900t_nosound.zip if you want the script to rename the PowerOn.ogg and PowerOff.ogg.
This script will backup the original /system/bin/bootanimation so you can easily revert the changes.
I tested this on my N900T running EffortLess ROM Rev 6 (NF1) w/ Aurora Kernel, though I'm fairly sure it would work on other ROMs/variations.
Enjoy!
Works on tweaked, thanks for this!

Which one is this? I've seen 2. One is super short and there are colored circles that come to the center.
The other one looks better

The boot animation zip works great on stock NE6 and looks really good. So glad to get rid of the blinding white TMo bootscreen. Thanks for this

Completely agree! Though I liked the boot anim from EffortLess 6, I'd still say I prefer the one from L.
i tried flashing the L keyboard from the apps section and when it kept crashing, i tried the one from your link..no luck. i am on note 3 effortless rom rev6. any ideas?

Using a root explorer, go first into the libs folder and delete the google latinime.
Then in the app folder delete the latinime.
Next go to data/data and there should also be one there too with similar name.
Just to be safe, I'd reboot an clear both caches.
Then try flashing my zip. Its worked well for a few so far:thumbup:
