Hello guys it is my first work and thread i released in our huge community XDA
So...im not developer but I ported the the MIUI v4 from galaxy ACE to our Gio :laugh:
This rom based on last CM10 by jallaxy and it is realy smooth
Ported from ace. Original work is by msnnsm (credits goes to him)http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2054460
And now feel pure MIUIv4 on Galaxy gio

*change and replace necessaries files to put app running like camera...etc

IMPORTANT!
-If a pop-up appears when first use of google play and asks about downloading a file 6mb download it.If you don't google play won't download apps.
-You can't change wallpaper via launcher.Change it via theme manager.
-For best experince change minimum cpu frequency to 245mhz and select I/Q SIO.
-Do not use 3square icon in theme manager or theme manager will fc, just use mix tab for change settings of theme.
-It is multilanguange
-For who don't know you can apply all themes with lockscreen There is no resize problem.
Installation
1. Wipe data/ factory reset
2. Wipe cache partition
3. Advanced/ wipe dalvik cache
4. Advanced/ wipe battery stats
5. Mount and storage/ format system
6. Install zip from sdcard and reboot your system

Location is not working also even though is working fine in Jellaxy CM10 (as I read in the changelog)
Is this rom have multilanguage? Turkish language?

It is multilanguage, but about turkish i don't know. BTW this rom is very laggy.
Is the dutch language also available? I reall like to download it. But i need dutch language for some apps. Most miui roms dont have te dutch language so thats why i am asking it.

im not sure, but MIUIv4 mostly has dutch inside, and this a multilanguage version, so its problably there.

Nice dutch language but link still doesn't work.
NICE!!!! But still the link says: error(404) the page you are looking for is not available. Please fix so i can download the rom. And can you also make a downloadlink on mediafire or 4shared because this are the easiest downloadsites. Thnx

Sorry Friends but I have stoped updating the MIUI V4 until there is a stable Cyanogenmod 9 because no one is going to use buggy and slow rom for daily use.But I will try to give some update zips of resized apps and widgets.And I am working on the launcher this time.

THEME FIX
To enable themes create a new folder named "theme" without quotes in
/data/system
then reboot
Please uncheck the lockscreen in theme manager while applying any theme.
If you want lockscreen theme then install milocker 1.4.2 from market and apply lockscreen theme from there
Reason is that you will have resolution issues if you apply through theme manager

Just tested the GB version and it is awesome.
It is unusable however, because the calling is buggy...

even if i update this rom no one is gonna use it because lots of bugs in cm9 like microphone bug but i will try to update this when cm9 alpha 4 get released and miui gb when next cm7 releases

Miui v4 is based on ics hence i stopped working for it
Truely I only know how to theme a apk by png and xml (for example-my "ICS CALLISTO")
I just replaced miui "app" , "framework" and "media" folder with cm9 of willingmagic
and resised some of miui apks.
ajay.al's miui gb is better in every aspect than my miui gb
so go for it.

Try a Mooke launcher from another MDPI device's Mokee OS port
Download is coming soon + base is latest cm7 build + i will look for launcher today
Will upload as soon as i find a launcher that works......stay tuned waiting for a pm!

And the Phone and contacts FCs ryt??? How did u fix that problem??
By the way its one of the coolest looking ROMs based on CM7 after MIUI!
To make the themes work just change the DPI to 158 or something reboot, apply the theme revert back to stock dpi and reboot again! Done!!

Link is given in anvesh txt file which one is attached with 1st post of thread...
You first download txt file and open it nd you get link for download joyos...

Its so simple as like cm7 via CWM...and wipe data and catches.and istall from zip...
gapps are included in rom so no need to flash gapps...

NVM, to flash recovery I need 2.3. To flash it ODIN can't detect my device, i've tried everything on internet. It is detected when booted to system normally!

If you are from ics / jb / etc you must wipe data / format system first , just like step at the first post .
But if you are from v1 and dont want lose your apps , you dont need to wipe data/system . You only need to wipe cache/dalvik & fix permission .
#P.S :
- if your rom is laggy at first boot , the solution is reboot to recovery , wipe cache/dalvik & fix permission

This rom very battery friendly i dont know if you compared with miui because i never use miui before

i have download and installed
and the error start in here...
- boot finish
- then only black screen
- i try push home button screen on
- slide to unlock but screen tuen to black again
- and always like that
3 time restart manual
wipe cache and dalvic too

Really , please check if your download isnt corrupt , the file size is +183 Mb . Because i try to install from V1 to V2 and no problem found

This ROM is the full work of AvatarRom based on CM10 4.1.2 as ported by me from the Nexus S.
Avatar has now released their official release of this ROM. They will most probably take over now, so thanks very much to them We can still use this now as a forum to dicuss this wonderful ROM
Themes are the main feature of this ROM for now, Avatar is working on integrating a personal assistant and layout theming, but for now, its all about themes.
The themes change the look and feel of many parts of the ROM such as the wallpaper(of course), the launcher, the bottom dock bar, the status bar, the lockscreen, most icons, the keyboard, the dialer and a lot of other things in the ROM

*Still testing(most probably the same as CM10 as it is based on it)
HOW TO INSTALL
1.Download the ROM and latest GAPPS
2.Put it on your "sdcard".
3.Reboot into recovery .
4.Wipe data, dalvik cache, wipe cache and format /system in mounts and storage.
5.Select install zip from SD card.
5.Install Avatar ROM ported by Richyricho.zip
6.Install the which ever GAPPS you prefer
7.Reboot and enjoy

The first thing I can Report on this ROM is that the battery life is absolutley AMAZNG!!! So thanks to Avatar for that...
And the themes are also pretty cool

My feedback.. feels really smooth! At first boot, in a few seconds everything was settled! Downloads and streaming are faster too! (At least for me). Biggest bug I found is that camera crashes (Not often, but it does) On the other hand, themes are awesome. Love the Rom! Great work

I just checked the camera and it says 12mp...i dont know if the quality is 12mp though

Thanks alot I have tried the camera for about 5-10 minutes but no crashes...what are you doing exactly when it crashes? Video, stills, changing settings? Anyone else having this issue?
