Hi everyone.. I'm Galaxy Note 2 LTE version user from Australia..
Soo sad look in this forum less developers support gt-N7105 device..
I have tried some available N7105 using custom rom, and I think no one rom run smooth and fast like custom rom from N7100, but the mods is not bad..
I just wanna make my N7105 run faster, because I have checked the benchmark by antutu, and the result is very poor only 12000..
Is it possible to flash N7100 Kernel to my N7105 ????
And, is there any trick to make my device run faster like a normal??
Overclocking, etc...??

I have tried that trick to convert N7100 rom to N7105 rom.. Yes, that's working, but still unstable, I have tried some N7100 rom, one of them is Omega rom.

Interesting, unstable as in how? Reboots often?
Because other than that, I'm afraid I see no other option

Why is there little to no Rom Development for the N7105 version of the Note II?
I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs hoping for something epic to arise :crying:
Also, is there any possible way of flashing an N7100 rom without causing instability?
There are custom roms actually: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1960
No idea for the compatibility but I think it could work.
You can flash anything from the tmobile and att note 2 forums on your n7105

anyway, for less experienced members like me it would be safer to wait for a "full ROM pack"
Theres not much in the way of custom Roms available at the moment. Wannam did say he was considering a port of his rom and I would love for Indie to port the Omega Rom.
However I am running a deodexed stock rom with Nova launcher and a few tweaks flashed such as multi windows, auto call recording and Directory Bind and you'd never know the difference. You just have to find compatible versions of the tweaks you want to flash and flash them individually.
Ram usage isn't really an issue but if you want the bloat removed just freeze with titanium backup.
Can i use GT-N7105 firmware or custom rom on my GT-N7105T?
Thanks.

Hi,
I may be guessing but it sounds like a N7100 to N7105 like question.
I advice you to stay on your ROM thread and not to jump on to another.
You might have firmware problems. :cyclops:
Some of the roms say which 4g version they will work on, i wouldn't flash unless it says it will work though

I want to have 4.3 with touchwiz but there is nothing.

Nice find! I've got nothing to do right now... Let's see if I can't do this...
as soon as the leaked version of 4.3 for the N7100 becomes official we should get our rom with tw as well quickly after.
reckon samsung has leaked that rom themselves simply to see if there's any additional bugs and errors they have to sort out before they make an official version of the rom, and whats a better way than to leak it to the internet knowing that it won't take long untill developers from for example xda take notice and start messing with it as well
reckon it will only be a short time before samsung releases an official rom
if you do manage to get/make a ported version for the n7105 which is generally bugfree i would love to try it as well
untill then its gonna be aokp/aosp depending on what rom i feel like using ^^

That one is still a build based on leaked firmware of N7100.
I don't think it will work on our firmware even you ported it, because you will still need our own base firmware to port any rom.
I also do hope there's some light come to the LTE device for the TW rom. Same like you, I also like the TW ROM instead of CM.
Just wait my friend.

Actually, we can be using 4.3 TW on our lte variants right now if we manage to get the kernel for that.

Yes thats what i read. We only need the right kernel to get it working.

don't forget, the partition is different as well.
That's what make the bootloop, corrupt IMEI,.... if you try to flash N7100 rom onto our device.

Ok guys. I'm writing this from the MI6 leaked 4.3 TOUCHWIZ N7100 ROM on my AT&T Note II.
Here's how:
DISCLAIMER: CELL CONNECTION DOESN'T WORK, NO SIM ERROR SO IT'S WIFI ONLY. IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO FIX THIS, PLEASE HELP
I CAN'T BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES. IT WORKS ON MY PHONE, IT MAY NOT WORK ON YOURS
Go to the n7100 Android Development Board and find Dr. Katan's MI6 build.
Download all 3 parts. V1,V2, and the 4.3 Mods.
Boot into recovery (I'm using Philz custom recovery)
Clear/wipe/yadda yadda
Install V1, it'll start Aroma installer.
Choose to back up efs!!
MOI IMPORTANTE: DO NOT CHANGE THE MODEM
Aroma will ask you about the kernel: FLASH THE 4.3 STOCK KERNEL. (I know it shouldn't work, but it does)
I left everything else unchecked except when it asks about pushing firmware, I checked it.
Flash V2 the same way and the mods and there ya go.
I use Devil Kernel to dual boot and keep my 4.1 ROM on secondary ready to go.
Devil Kernel DOES NOT support 4.3 Touchwiz, so I have to flash the appropriate kernel first.
i am waiting too ...
Been checking XDA (N7105) & SamMobile few times per day...no luck still ....
Tried the Tiger Rom based on MI6 on my international N7105. Rom also flash the radio so it shows up as unknown baseband, and the S Pen is not recognized. Other than that I didn't spot other issue.
I restore immediately from my previous CWM backup and reflash the radio to make things the way they were.
Hey guys,
Lately I realized that I have Insane Chip.
No matter what Rom or Kernel I flash into the hardware I just can't seem to get rid of the SDS.
I've tried Perseus Kernel [Which later I found that it's for stock roms only].
I've tried Devil Kernel, N.E.A.K Kernel without any success.
Currently I'm using ParanoidAndroid 3.99 and it's great, but the SDSs killing me.
What's the solution? btw I rather have something fast because I get to the house only on weekends and the Note 2 is all I have while I'm outside the house.

You cant get rid of the insane chip its hardware , the only way to get the sane chip is to swich the motherboard, you should be safe on latest stock roms but the emmc brickbug app will alway show insane chip even if you have a safe rom and kernel. So using latest stock 4.1.2 roms whit stock kernels should be safe but I dont know if its 100% because samsung doesn't publish change logs whit there updates.

Probably because there is no reason for samsung to remove the fix in the newer firmware.

You should be safe on any kernel that has SDS fix in it (they state that in the features list of the kernel) , you can flash custom roms or 4.3 stock leak .
I just flashed a ROM called AOKP Beats for the N7105 and wow, it is great!! Haven't had an issue yet, still installing apps but seems pretty damn good! the thread is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2685493
