4.2 Apps for Galaxy S3

Hi everyone just wanted to start a thread for the 4.2 apps for the S3. If there is a thread for this please ignore thus and delete. OK I am not responsible for your phones you flash this at your own risk. These apps are for stock rom have not tested on any other rom .You have to be rooted. Wipe cache both of them and install. These apps work 100% on my S3 so they should for everyone els. Enjoy

Dude what the hell man what this suppose to happen too?=-O its awesome!
It installed it and you can see it in my drawer of all apps. And all the gestures are still there but with a CM10 look do this is the **** bro thank you!

Also since installing this I have had an issue with GMail. When ever I press the reply button it automatically closes. I even tried to remove the Gmail app and install the Gmail 4.2 and still does not work. I was using it fine right before I installed this package.

Try and fix permissions in recovery. Mine is working let me know. Or try and clear all cache from recovery.

There USBA widget for a app like sound hound called Google ears it us cool check it out this is what it looks like. IMO it is better than sound hound

Do you need to be on JB for these apps to work. I'm still on 4.04 since WiFi tether doesn't work on new JB TW update.

Camera...
Not *TOTALLY* working... Camera still has to be focused before each photo, otherwise it will fc and become non-responsive until a reboot...

I have both the latest builds of the camera and keyboard, working perfectly.

Who is your best friend?

I have the file you need to flash but not sure how to upload a file, or if I can upload a file.

Works great, thanks. I'm running cleanrom 3.3. I just flashed the zip, it worked. It didn't delete my old camera.... I just don't use it. 4.2 camera is better to me

I actually like the older camera better. Settings are easier to manage and ****. I think this apk will work on all roms and on tw or aosp.

That's true, settings are easier to manage. But, regardless of what setting I choose, picture still comes out pretty damn ****ty to me. It's not shabby for a cell phone camera..I'd just expected more this far down the line in smartphones.
Did you notice how smooth going through the gallery is man? photosphere is neat

I actually don't have it at the moment because I didn't care for the layout of both the camera and the Gallery. Also didn't use photosphere much so I deleted it for the moment.

It's not supposed to delete it, it's a totally different app. Just to let you know it won't save to SD card with the 4.2 camera.

Also, I shared the photosphere photo in Google Plus, but it's not showing up as a virtual in Google Plus. How do we do that?

Photosphere is great but how do others, without the 4.2 gallery, view the pics (I don't want tin upload them to Google maps)

Thanks for sharing I installed the keyboard and it keeps crashing on me. I did flash it and am using rooted stock touchwiz. Keyboard keeps force closing did you use the keyboard and are you having this issue?
If I wanted to un install it this keyboard how can you do that without restoring my Os from twrp backup?

Here's what I use:

Works perfectly for me. If you scroll down a bit you will see the keyboard and camera put into 1 zip. That's what I use.

Also. You may need to flash exit only's zip to fix the gyroscope

Thanks for adding these you guys. The 4.2 gapps that I posted is for JB. Exit_Only's tweaks are needed for you to get the full 100% out of the camera.

Not sure whats wrong
I have installed trebuchet several times, and everything installs fine, but when ever I try to change any of the settings, it FC's, I am running Slimbean Unofficial, on E4GT tried moving it over to system/app, but whenever I try to set permissions it doesn't give me the option to change anything (using FX file manager with root access) any help would be useful and very appreciated.

here is the bootanimation, sundbeam live wallpaper (which i am using) and camera from the s4 google play edition. i head the bootanimation works but i have yet to test the camera if someone wants to give it a shot

Camera works fine on Rootbox. Opened editor but didn't actually edit anything, no issues.

I got the camera and gallery to work. Having issues turning off the shutter though. Other then that its working great. Thanks.

For you guys who find the shutter sound annoying, rompnit posted this camera with a modified volume.db so that it has not shutter sound in his MOAR thread. Head over there and check it out

Does the camera work flawless though?? Because I remember that the n4 camera on Aosp toms for the s3 had a problem with taking pictures without you focusing manually

From what I've seen so far, everyone is having different experiences...some having freezes, other's are experiencing no issues, etc etc
You just gotta try it, it's a quick install
