LG Security Check
For those confused about the "security disabled" this is referring to LG's Security check, which can easily be removed using Project Freegee from the app store play.google.XXX/store/apps/details?id=edu.shell.freegee (Replace XXX with com) or for free this awesome team @ forum.xda-developers.XXX/showthread.php?t=2002984 (again replace XXX with com) sorry for odd links my account is fresh and I still need more posts to posts links... LG's security check as in unlocking the bootloader?
By the way, my Google Now wont update, when i hit refresh the circle comes up (sync) not sure the actual term lol but anyway, after that absolutely nothing happens, any way to fix it or is it a known problem
1 bug I noticed. When trying to leave google now, you have to hit the home button. Back button does not do anything.

Did you use the gapps from aeros post at rootz?
I've seen this before on other ICS roms.. but while flashing what the heck does "Random offset: 0x326" mean?
Also, anyone else get "Unfortunately, Wallet has stopped." ??

Random offset is normal, wallet doesn't work with phones that don't have an NFC chip. Disable it in apps or just delete the apk.
Well, with what I got to play around before my phone went stupid on me, this is awesome! I've been having problems with my phone specifically when on ICS. No other OS version gives me issues. It's gotta be a hardware issue at this point. I don't know which rom/kernel/whatever setup killed mine and three other's phones, but something did. :/
I'm not giving up though... I'm going to find a way to make this rom work, because it's kickass!

Crt off isn't working for meh. ditto on the camera but the quick lock/unlock fixes it.

IMO, these are the best softkeys as they allow you to mod the stock ROM to have 4 keys and enabled long-press on Home for recent apps and long press on Search as well. Basically, the good old layout we all know and love.
Spoke with the author and it appears these have been abandoned. Anyone willing to take on remaking them for 4.0.4?
(Sidenote: Would love to see the Motorola layout one updated M-H-B-S)

Unfortunately, that does not add the 4th key, neither does it change the key layout or add the abilities of long-press Home and long-press Search. And definitely not something as elaborate as a dedicated Menu key.

I'll put this out there then...if anyone can get 4.0.4 systemui.apk and framework-res.apk to decomp (with what's out there now) pm me...
Because I can not get the only deodex rom to do sh**, nor can I get kitchen to deodex properly

Sorry, I was still half asleep when I made that reply. I thought you were asking if I was just running Paranoid. I'll try using that theme tomorrow and report back I guess lol.

Well Im going to try it, doing a backup now, I'll report back in about 20 mins.
Update: IT WORKS, just make sure you pick the right version. Im on 1.9.7 so thats the one I chose since 1.9.9 hasn't been released for our phones. Didn't wiped anything, just flashed (since that,s what it says in OP instructions)
Since the one for Tmo is the jelly bean version make sure you choose Paranoid Darkness Jelly Bean Versions on the first step. Hope this helps.
Update 2: I keep getting (Choose input method) notification on status bar
Update 3: Battery is off, Im on 38 and the one on status bar keeps saying 43, I even flashed the black and blue version he has on his thread and same thing, choose input notification bug and battery off. It is meant for Gnex after all but wanted to try it anyways, going back to my backup

No, those are widgets and custom icons that you can probably find on his thread, he even mentioned how to get the clock on his first post, pretty sure its not that hard if you search, but I didnt want to waste my time setting it up since I knew I wasnt going to stay with that theme plus I like how I have it now. The theme only changes framework, systemUI and mms apk.

Ugh Google really need to give the apps section of the Play Store a nice holo blue centric theme instead of the old green one.
I can understand why they haven't changed it in the past, due to the number of people that are still on older Android versions which don't have the Holo theme. (Everything before Honeycomb). But now that 54% of the current Android devices have the Holo UI I thought they might change it. I hope they're just waiting until a majority of people are on the Holo UI.

Just in case you hadn't noticed, a link tot he original article (with download) is at the top of this page and there's also now two direct links to the .apk on this page! I think people would much rather this than having to download an app, find the article and then finally getting to download it

I got a demigod crash on install... It let me connect to Wi-Fi and before I could add my google account during first install it crashed.
been running it all day and no crash on my end. i'll play around with it a bit more and see if i can get it to. also, all these devices are different in some way shape or form. some can handle OC/UV and some cant. and can also hold true to Roms and software.
I'm going to try and provide nightlies so hopefully we can work out the bugs. thanks for the heads up. and please reply back if anything else is found

I kept getting stuck when trying to connect to wifi during setup, I would get the demigod kernel crash. I tried again and went through setup without connecting to wifi and all is good, after setup wifi works fine. Hopefully it works for you.
Also no 3g I can't get 4g but when I leave that area no 3g but its good very nice (boratvoice)

yeah i was earlier, i,ll check again , i just wiped and flashed a new one
yeah music is a bit glitchy
I have the same problem with this as all of the ROMs built with smoocha, it will not run at 1512 and you cannot flash over smoocha. No other problems yet WiFi and data fine so far

what i did to get it working was move the volume up and down "without music playin" till it made the volume noise. lemme know if it works for you.
