Warning Fix Permissions in ROM Manager

I just tried to fix permissions in ROM manager. After reboot the whole systems was without any fonts and not functional anymore. Had to recover the ROM. So, better watch out.

this CWM is not designed for lu6200 which has a different flash layout from p930. but you can unpack the original recovery.img and change the fstab under /etc to match lu6200's flash layout. someone has already done that .youu can download it from gfan.com

Gonna give it a try and see what happens. One question though, does it matter which CM10 version I use for the files? I have the latest ParanoidAndroid if that would work... since it IS CM10 on crack..

Just flashed it over after making the changes... works like a charm on the P930.

If I had a file sharing account somewhere I would gladly post the P930 version, but I don't. It's unbelievably easy to make the port though. As someone else mentioned just unzip the SU640 version and also a CM10 version (I used Paranoid Android)... copy boot.img, /system/etc/firmware, and /system/etc/wifi from CM10 folder over to CodeNameAndroid and re-zip.

You could probably also copy the build.prop so that various apps don't think you're on a 640.

Definitely would recommend replacing the build.prop as well. Everything reads P930 instead of SU640 now.

Hey slg, I made those changes for the P930.. I don't want to just post the link since I really did nothing that anyone else couldn't do, but it would make it a little easier for the P930 users if that version were already done... I guess, if you either want the file to post yourself or would like me to post the link, let me know. Thanks

if you use the current version of cm10(10/5) to make the port wont you have the same issues in the newly created rom as are in cm10? From what ive read the 10/5 nightly has an issue with very low volume wich would render it unusable for me if I used it to port the rom.....Any advice would be greatly appreciated ive been dying for a new rom to flash!

I just replaced and rezipped this. It seems to work really well.

[Q] How to patch CDMA ROM to make it work on GSM?

Hi i was wondering if its possible to patch network of geespr cdma roms to make it fully work to geehrc gsm... Is it possible? i tried flashing a geespr ROM but i cant connect to mobile data but i can make calls and txt.. I used Optimus G Tweaker network patch but not fully working... thank u!

Replaced some telephony files and edit build.prop in cdma rom .. i was just experimenting actually but it worked...

Ah it is for stock 4.1.2... coz in on stock right now as i want better battery as i go out a lot. But if u want it i can share kernel

Just want to confirm -- are you running Viper ZVC v1.1 with Epsilon v03 ROM on F180K? And does the storage mount work? I saw reports of it not working in Viper thread...
If it works for you, I am definitely going to try it on my phone.

Yes, Use the first link... fixed sdcard issue. Sdcard is ok and can be accessed.. the second link copy all modules and replace all modules in system lib... use aroma filemanager..

Welcome.. and dont flash the second link! Hehe just copy modules there.. no boot.img for 1st link only Zimage.. its anykernel updater so no ramdisk issue causing sdcard problem..

I've copy all module in system\lib\modules using aroma file manager, but wifi not work. I've e975 with stock firmware 10h. i tried twrp and philz touch

this is xda so 1st make a search then creat a new thread your question is answered many time already here.

[Q] Porting roms

So, i tried to port this rom , and this rom...
I used this tool to do it, and in the end i edited the updater script so there's no error with set_perms...
The problem is that the first one booted but i had lots of FC's , and the second was stuck at boot loop...
How can i successfully port LU6200 roms to p93x ?
