Welcome to Eos! The Eos project originated with the AOSP release of ICS, and was originally founded by Solarnz and co founded by Bigrushdog. Since then, Eos has evolved into a multinational collaborative effort backed by top Android developers. Our objective is to provide a world class AOSP build with unique features and enhancements. Eos is an ongoing development project in which builds are released on a regular basis. Every release should be considered stable and highly functional.

Hey guys use any 4.2 gapps that suits you. But this is my personal blend in here
http://goo.im/devs/teameos/roms/eos4/gapps
You'll find everything that a gapps pack should be. Like photosphere, swipe kbd, currents daydream, and other misc win that I mixed together. Of course if somebody made an inverted version I'd wub u forever.

Awesome thanks for this

It's a solid build based on aosp with some unique features. Only bug I got is you can't install paid apps with a custom kernel. I'm working overtime hunting it down. As always with EOS, it's an ongoing and evolving project with some very talented developers. Do a Nandroid, update to latest 4.2 compatible recovery, and give it a run. I'm always open to thoughts, feature ideas, or if you think it just sucks . But i don't get that very often.
Edit: weird kernel bug fixed that prevented installing paid apps from market on custom kernels. New nightly out with fix and some other good stuff. Feel free to flash kernels and have a merry Christmas.

Lulzing! Never heard that one before. I was gonna say it's what happens when she forgets the safe word. That being covered, this like many aosp builds suffered random reboots in the first builds. However I haven't even had a random reboot in weeks. One thing that can cause a working ladies untimely demise is undervolting/underclocking. If you drop too low you create a crime scene.
Lol I'm gonna run with this one for a while!

Thats funny

Has the source code ever been released by Samsung/Sprint for our Toroplus? This ROM is running beautifully not so much as a hiccup!

Nope, but even if they did we wouldn't need it. The only difference between toroplus resources and the rest of the tuna family is the small handful of radio binaries. And they all function just fine. But if anybody comes across 4.2 binaries for Stingray, please let me know
Edit: OH! just wait for the next nightly. all i can say is Kevdliu is getting sick with it. I mean, he's on a rampage!

Its pretty silly to think those screen shots are from a phone. The aspect ratio is a dead giveaway that its from a tablet. Team EOS makes their ROM multi-platform, and as far as: know this is their first release for a phone. I've been using a rom of theirs in one form or another since I got my Xoom. Really top notch stuff.
BRD and gang: Great to have this ROM on the GNex. Great to have devs that write their own code from scratch and not borrow features from the community too. Originality FTW!
Maybe we'll have you guys back on the show again soon as well!

[ROM][JB] Team EOS 3 *JELLYBEAN* Nightlies - Stingray / MZ602 / US 4G ONLY

Team EOS XOOMJB 4.1.1 Stingray MZ602NIGHTLIES
Continuing on from the success of the EOS ICS roms, we present to you EOS3, based on JELLYBEAN!
It is the goal of Team EOS to develop and maintain the highest performing and most stable AOSP based rom for an array of platforms. The launching point for this development effort is the Motorola XOOM.
For the latest news on Team EOS Xoom releases make sure you follow @teameos on twitter and on IRC on Freenode in #xoom.

--
A quick note on Nightlies: NIGHTLIES ARE DEVELOPMENT BUILDS. They are automatically generated every now and then, and represent the compilation of the latest commits to the code repository. While every effort is made ensure that the commits that are accepted are stable and do not have a negative impact to the overall performance and function of the builds it is not possible to test every aspect of a commits impact to the overall repo prior to it’s inclusion in a given build. As a result it is entirely possible that instabilities may be introduced as a result of a given days commits. That is the nature of the nightly system, and the risk that is taken using the latest code changes to the project.
EOS Xoom is an AOSP based rom. It is developed and maintained by Team EOS and is the culmination of our own in house development efforts.
Team EOS Xoom Nightly builds: http://goo-inside.me/devs/teameos/roms/eos3/nightlies/stingray/

Yes, very smooth in early testing. WiFi hookup quick and solid, stock android browser smooth and fast navigating to xda forums first time. No discernable keyboard lag.
Boat browser doesn't work, prob not ready for JB. Haven't downloaded other apps yet to test.
Shows great promise... thanks EOS.

Same here, Baseband shows up as unknown. I also got the android.phone error at startup. Voice Search doesn't seem to work. Google Now starts, but doesn't complete setup. My clock did not auto-set after initial setup.
Camera works better than I ever recall seeing on my Xoom. Boots quite quickly, and seems to be ridiculously responsive. This is incredible for just hitting source, I wish I could be more helpful!, keep up the good work guys!

CleanROM with kernel for (G) model works fine. Maybe I could just look for the proper libs/system parts, and by adding them to this Rom and flashing (G) kernel after it may work. Just asking for opinion from the dev, how do you think, will it work that way?
Thank you.

I like PA simply for the level of customization available. I'm not one to theme etc, but the visual options become very attractive once you've experienced them (i was skeptical, and wrong). that being said, haven't taken this version for a whirl yet, just hopped on cm10.1. once all settles, i will likely come home to PA

Sent from The Beast using Tapatalk 2
This is not the question for me as I love the features like per-app DPI, per-App status bar, this PA colours for Navbar and so on - only thing I don't like is that I don't get many updates (especially in kernel as ROM doesn't seem to have many bugs)
Do we have TabletUI available on this ROM?

well the lack of updates is due to the recent project that the lead developers have taken on, (AOSPA) which is closed source. once paranoid 3.0 is open source, development will be up and running in full force. and to answer the other question, yes tablet UI is available with this ROM.

Dirty flash over CM10.1 is possible yes, if you have any problems just wipe, make sure to make a backup just in case! also, as I am not privy to the source as of now, I do not know how far along they are, so no eta from me sorry!
Also, new mirror is up, I got too much traffic on my dropbox account so I switched to google drive for now(hopefully goo.im approves my application soon!)
Is the tablet mode on this, exactly like 4.1 Jellybean or does it have any 4.2 UI elements left in?
4.2 elements

Does this rom support the dock's battery? CM10.1 doesn't have support for this yet, wondering if PA does.....
Pretty sure it does

were you able to find the navbar left/right setting that was in the older versions?
I haven't asked rush about yet. Just getting everything updated and running on Jenkins. Have you tried NX yet? All the gestures can be used any where in the Navbar.

i tried it on my nexus 7 and can't seem to fall in love with it. i like it simple.
It doesn't look good for left ,right nav keys. The layout is gone. It doesn't get much simpler than flick left for back, tap for home and flick right for recents. You can do it from anywhere in the Navbar, no need to move your hands. You can add to it If you like but the presets cover the 3 main functions.

Nice job on the ROM, Recon. Do you (or the EOS Team) build with Linaro or Sabermod?
Linaro builds coming once I get the G2 fixed up.

Nightlies now built with linaro.
Can you post some screenshots? I would like too see how does the rom looks ☺

Latest build running very smooth. :good:
Downloaded and flashed the latest today. Running very well so far. Love the options that are included.
Thanks Devs, from my LG G2
More coming soon like animate the logo. It's my favorite.

For those using this Rom, any complaints or requests?
Sent from my LG-D800 using XDA Premium HD app
No complaints from me so far. Seems to be running very stable.
Thanks Devs, from my LG G2
Build of 8/11 is working just fine except that battery status never declines. It just draws a flat line showing percent charge at the most recent boot.
That's odd. I'll look at it tonight.
Sent from LGG2 with Elegance Of Simplicity
Are you still building with any custom toolchains or release flags?
Perhaps even this commit: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2754997
I reverted the linaro toolchains. Just wouldn't boot. I use kt's kernel any way. I'll revisit the toolchains when my g2 stuff is sorted.
