Hello guys
there is a solution for fix the keyboard back light in ICS roms.

but not any solution in CM10 roms.
anyone fix it or have idea ?

In this thread you will see as far of a fix the keyboard has gotten and as far as I know there is no patch for the backlight right now. But dman will get to it when he has the time. Everyone is really busy atm with the holidays and stuff. Just be patient.

I helped produce the ICS fix. The problem is almost the same, but this time there is sourcecode for liblights.c. I private messaged dman about it, because I cannot yet post to the Android Development forum and he replied:
"Yea I have it fixed in my local machine. Just haven't pushed the changes to my girthub.. thanks bro"
So, expect it to be solved soon!

Cm7 won't be hard at all after kernel source and root. We need the kernel source first. Also a port won't work, you will have to port it everytime with new releases. We will need cm compiled from source and then submit it so it gets the nightlies. I can do the porting just fine for you guys but it won't be stable or supported. Good things comes to those who wait man

Glad to see someone from the hd2 community here! Ultimate droid's main devoloper stopped the project and took away all the source code. The last android version was on 2.3.3. I heard he might come back but we will see

I'm going to rewrite this thread from my desktop once my ISP stops acting up.
This is the build myself and mikeyman been working on for the past couple months. We came long way and there is little time left before it goes stable. We decided to post it hoping someone could jump in and help us out finalizing this and also to show you guys the progress and of course to shut the trolling and doubters . Its beyond us right now...we're still going to maintain it and update it with fixes each time we find one.
NOTE
This is not a daily driver build. I have warned you. Don't install this if you're looking for stable build,most stuff don't work. Were not going to support the build...at least not under this state.

- Camera/camecorder.
- in call audio.
- Small graphical glitches.
- find out more by yourself and please report back.

Yea, there is some video issues with the build especialy if you have the usb cable disconnected. We think that this is a kernel issue. As far as the widgets, we will look in to it.
So glad to see this here. Thanks for bringing this to us. Thought my eyes were lying to me for a minute!!!

are you referring to the skyrocket not running it, because I am and it's great.
only problem i've noticed so far is it doesn't detect the internal SD card and i dont see an option to change the location of it or use it. back to jug for now

might as well release it here as well and make a thread. that way more exposure and being the first proper AOKP rom will go down well with many people here crying for it...that way we all know it is open source and not having to wait for someone else due to their closed doors attitude.. i am working on my own AOKP build but without a phone no luck so far but i am glad you guys got it going and netchip the little nerd is a supergenius
Well the problem is that there are certain restrictions where as we can't release on xda. It is unfortunate but maybe sometime in the near future it will be possible

why is there restrictions? you have an aokp rom that is build on by open source..what is so hard in not releasing it? unless netchip does not have the phone and is doing blind builds? anyways good luck and bit more info would of been appreciated...

Because he is banned and no works of his is allowed on xda.
Yes he has an SGSII (obviously) it boots and runs very smoothly. All of this is for the community and netchip will build upon what is there. And what info do you need?

Does anybody know if http://android.phiexz.com/ is going to be down permanently?
I really love his version of CM7 and I personally think it is the best for this phone. I love Maclaws CM9 and CM10 but they do drain the battery really fast and CM7 works perfectly.
Anyway, the last version he made seems to be totally bug free, just would be nice to know if he has stopped work on CM7 or if he will release another update Also it means anybody who didn't get his great rom before the site went down can't seem to get it now (luckily I did)
I have a "rom flashing condition" which means I'm always itching to install something new :laugh:
Anyway, I love his work! Truly awesome stuff :good:

The gio project is not on hold he said on his website before. He stops development for another phone (galaxy y I think) but he start a new project with the galaxy pop plus because he's little sister has an pop plus. It's not the first time he's site is down.

Don't bug the developers. They aren't getting paid to do this & they have lives outside of developing and it's the holiday season.
