Have you read any of the threads or did you just download the files and try rooting? Cuz, I swear the answer to any question you might have about rooting is in at least five of the threads about rooting the P930.
I've read through the threads, i tried superoneclick and doomlord from the posts. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but i always get failed, my phone restarts and it's not rooted. I've never rooted an android, i need help.

I've been told that this works so give it a try but 'READ' it all 2-3 times before going ahead so you don't fail, I will be trying it on my LG Nitro/P935 after Christmas Day and will report back but there are many others with issues that were solved from what I've read in this thread:

I finally got the phone to root with Bin4ry. It worked like a champ. Now I'm having issues with clockworkmod recovery flashing. I found the bc64-recovery.img and put it on my sdcard. When i tried to use the terminal emulator to set this as the recovery file but the:
=> su
=> cd / sdcard
=> cat bc64-recovery.img > /dev/block/mmcblk0p13
says the access is denied to set as the recovery file. Any help would be appreciated. I've also deleted and reinstalled the TE app and there is no permisions to allow in the superuser app.

So... you've read all the threads about rooting the Nitro but neglected seeing where it specifically says in almost every thread that you can't install CWM on offical Ice Cream Sandwich? You have to unbrick if you have official ICS if you want ClockWorkMod. Pick any of the links below. All of them root and install CWM. There is no other way at the moment.

First off I'd like to preface this by saying that I love having an Android & I am so grateful for the devs out there that put in endless hours of work for the community.
I am a n00b, but have successfully flashed ROMs on various devices... moto backflip, triumph, nook color...
I currently have an HTC Wildfire S on VMUSA.
Here are other stats:
MARVELC PVT SHIP S-OFF RL

CWM v5.0.2.8
32gb SD CARD [FAT32/EXT-2 VIA MINI PARTITION TOOL ON WIN7]
MAC OSX LION
WINDOWS 7 [VIA PARALLELS]
Attempted the following:
wipe data/factory reset in CWM
wipe dalvik cache
ran SuperWipeMarvelcEdition.zip (completed successfully)
then tried to install "simonsense3.5v.2.zip" and the following happens:
"--Installing: /sdcard/ROMs/simonsense3.5v2.zip
Finding update package...
Opening update package... (it will either hang here or...)
Installing update..." (it will hang here and then reboot itself into CWM recovery)
I tried flashing simon's v.1 of this ROM a few weeks ago and gave up because I couldn't get it to work and it took me many tries to get it back to the stock ROM. I tried searching on the forums for any issues like mine but haven't found any, and I tried all of the recommendations I could find.
Please let me know if you need any additional information!
Thanks so much!!
You may want to try just redownload the zip file (if you haven't already.)
Also, how did you get S-OFF? Was it Goldcard method or did you receive the phone as S-OFF?
And finally, thank you for detailed information about your phone, computer, and the steps you have tried to fix the issue. It makes troubleshooting much easier!

Are you downloading from your computer then putting it on your SD then flashing or are you using ROM Manager?
Have you tried any other ROMs? Try flashing CM7 (make a backup in Recovery first).

This build is pretty good. It has some MMS and WiFi issues, but until Sense 3.5, this was the only ROM I'd use. In fact, I'm using it right now. You'll need to flash the gapps package from Recovery if you do CM7 (which I'm sure you know, since you had CM7 before.)

I actually haven't had many Wi-Fi issues, but they've been reported. The thread can be found here. Usually I'll lose WiFi if the phone has been locked for awhile. A quick fix I'll do is Settings>Wireless & Networks>WiFi. Then I'll toggle it off then on and it'll work fine.
Did it flash or have you tried yet?

Alright, let's try redownloading the recovery (http://download.clockworkmod.com/recoveries/recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.8-marvelc.zip). Then re-flashing the recovery.
Download that file.
Power off phone.
Reboot to HBOOT (Power + Vol. Down)
Choose Fastboot
Open Terminal/Command Prompt
Code:
fastboot flash recovery <path-to-file>
Where, of course, <path-to-file> is the actual path and don't actually put the angle brackets.

>< sorry...can you back up a few steps...I think I need to install your scripts first from your signature?
If you do not have ADB and Fastboot installed on your computer, then yes, you will need to run those scripts.
Simply open Terminal (they're Mac- and Linux-only) and drag and drop the "ADB Install Mac.sh" into the window. Then hit enter.
Edit: Do the following ONLY if you get a permssion error.
If it says something about permission denied, type
Code:
chmod 755 <path-to-directory>/*
chmod 755 <path-to-directory>/*.*
Note, do not do the file, but the directory their in. For example, if they're on your desktop, do "chmod 755 ~/Desktop/Android/*".
I had problems with koush recovery. So I've stuck with alquez unofficial recovery. No problems at all and I do a ton of flashing. It's better imho

Hi Guys,
Firstly, thanks so much for the info on this community. I've followed loads of the threads and almost all of what I need to know is here.
I have a KF2 @ v10.3.1. I've rooted it and applied the 2nd bootloader using a homemade lead (thanks to the thread on that!). I started in Windows but switched to Kubuntu after getting driver issues etc.. To compound the problem, the KF2 is blocked by Amazon, which didn't help as I couldn't load apps whist it was stock. (It's not stolen or otherwise illegally obtained. Amazon sent it in error, and despite me contacting them to ask how to return it, they've never replied)
Anyhow, After following THIS thread, which appeared to go OK, after rebooting I'm unable to boot into Recovery. The blue screen just stays there. I can still boot normally, but I would like to load CM10 which is loaded as per the thread, along with gapps, both in zip format. I have read many threads about being stuck on the blue screen, but these are always locked and need to be restored, but I have no problem booting normally and the KF2 is not locked. I've searched this site and googled plenty.
I don't expect an exact answer, but if someone could just point me at what to look at, I'm sure I can find the rest of the info I need on here. :good:
Oh, also. Another quick question. I see that the CM10 images are constantly being updated, if (when I get mine working) I want to use one of these, is it simply a case of copying the zip file over? Or is there more to do than that.
Many thanks in advance.
You can boot normally? Into stock, I assume.
Run the apk tool from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2106463
Should get you fixed right up
The zip file will have to be flashed from recovery. So, its a matter of copying the zip file (and gapps) over. Boot into recovery. Wipe data, cache, dalvik and system. Then flash rom first, the gapps.
Also, be VERY CAREFUL and make sure you have a GOOD DOWNLOAD by checking the md5 on the file. If you wipe the system (which deletes the stack file) you will not be able to boot into recovery or anything.
I still recommend that you purchase a fastboot cable.
Edit: also, when booting into recovery you might have to hit the power button a couple of times.

Cheers mindmajick. I've tried to do this but still having a few problems.
If I use the wired version, the runme.bat does not have permissions to the data/app folder. I can't seem to run it in Kubuntu as it says I can't run a binary file if I make it executable, but says I don't have permission if I remove execute. (I'm looking into this - but I'm not very good with Linux, so lots of Googling!!...lol....) Also I see that there are some issues with this version with the wireless version being favored. Unfortunately as I'm unable to log onto my Amazon account, I can't use this method.
I will continue to try, I'm almost there now, thanks for you help so far.

Hopefully that makes a little more sense. Cheers
Yes. Download the fmkilo apk from his thread, (use the browser if you have to) then once downloaded pull down the notification bar and tap on the apk link. Also, make sure that the option to install from unknown sources is set in the settings before doing the download
You could alternatively push the file via adb to the system Directory.

Yup, that did it. I had overlooked the fact that I was still able to use the browser on the KF2 and didn't really know you could install .apk's using that method anyway. So now I have carried on and installed Jellybean 4.2.2 on there and it works a treat.

Not a problem: Thanks
I think this is a method of pushing the flash and image files to the tablet and then installing using ADB by the way it is described.
I think I have that method copied down some place else.
I have never used this method but, sounds like it would work.
I also presume you need root to do the install via ADB.

I cant install TWRP and i think the reason is that the bat was having some problem to send that bootmenu.tar file to my sd card. I tried to send that file myself before starting the entire process and it didnt worked.
I took a picture of the error i'm getting . Thank you again, i was really mad about that low internal space xD
same problem... someone can fix it? please

Ok, I've made a fixed script here. The error was that the sdcard is a directory so it will refuse to push files into it.
Here's the updated script below. Just put the .bat file in the same place as the other files.
Thanks

Ty for the quickly answer.
Btw, my gsm network wasnt working after the root process. If the same thing happens to someone else, just do a master reset and it will work again.
pull command is working now
That sdcard copy part is working now. The TWRP process is still not working for me. I tried to do myself the commands using the adb interface and when i use the command to intall the tar, i got the message 'tar: no space left on device" . I hope you can help me with that and i'm sorry about all this questions xD .

Yes but it sometimes gets unstable so you should overclock to 700MHz which is the highest I got without reboots. pll2_l_val=73 gives you 700MHz.

It worked for others but in your situation the only thing I can advise is to do a data wipe and relfash SBF file. Just go to Guitwo2's there to install permanent CWM.

Rooting Ascend P1 U9200 B315 EUI1.5 JB v4.1.1
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyone wanting to root there Ascend P1 U9200 phone after the new firmware update, here are the files, and info you need, to do so...
First off, plug UR phone in switch it on and let Windows search for the driver, Then click "Let me choose..." or "browse for it..." or similar. Then select "Let me choose which driver to install", then click "list of drivers" or similar, Then click the one near the top that has adb or similar in the title, it don't matter if you choose the wrong one, it just means it wont connect and you'll have to redo this part again and pick a different driver.
Remember!! You MUST run these commands as Administrator.
1. Download the files below, extract them to a folder, preferably one without any spaces in the path, i.e.. C:\U9200Root\ should do perfect.
3. Right Click the "Click-To-Root-U9200.bat" file and under compatibility options click run as administrator or the like.
4. Run (Double Click) the Click-To-Root-U9200.bat (As Administrator!) (or right-click then, "run as administrator...")
4. Reboot your fone and click yes on your fone to install SuperUser.
that's it, your rooted
for those wanting to do the commands there self...
1. Download & extract the files to C:\U9200Root\
2. In the CLI type: "C:\U9200Root\adb reboot bootloader"
3. Then "boot TWRP.img"
4. Then Restart your fone and choose yes to install SuperUser
PS if you've not got much space left in your system partition you may have to delete something from /system/app/ to make space for the SuperUser files.
REMEMBER the space reported on your fone by android is the space on your data partition/memory & sd card and not the system partition!
You can check how much system data etc space you have left from terminal if u have it installed, or on the TWRP recovery which you will have just installed. To do this, Reboot the fone holding the Vol. Up Button, click on advanced then terminal then type "df -h" without quotes if system partition is less than say 10-20mb free then delete maybe, uneeded languages?, chrome.apk?, GSM_Maps.apk? or the like, then reinstall them to the /data/app part later. Since many of these apks get updated and the old ones left undeleted in /system/app/ anyways, I always move the system apks updates from /data/app to /system/app/, makes things a lot tidier and saves a lot of space both in /data/app and /system by not having two of every apk file youve ever updated just remember to copy the libs to /system/lib(s)
Anyways hope I helped someone with this...
cheers John -G-

Where can I find blaze driver?
Hi
After adb reboot bootloader you can also install CWM with fastboot :
fastboot flash recovery clockworkmod.XXXX.img
With CWM you can backup your phone (always a good idea )
After rebooted in CWM install SU with any zip file (ex : SU___Busybox_1.20.2_Flashable.zip )

How to remove TWRP...? I want to update U9200-EM-UMTS-V100R00G411D00B336....thanx in advance.
Stuck
My U9200 is just stuck on the HUAWEI logo when you boot it...
And the cmd application just keeps saying < waiting for device >
Any help is appreciated...
with B336 this method doesn't work.
EDIT:
The problem is not in TWRP or CWM; the problem is that there is not enough space in folder /system/app.
From TWRP I went to "Advanced" and then "file manager"; here from the /system/app I deleted all the languages other than Italian-pack (my language), chrome.apk and gsm-map.apk. Then I flashed SU_flashable and after boot-up SU was finally installed.
It seems that the difficulty of obtaining root permissions in all stock roms from b105 onwards is precisely linked to the lack of space in the / system / app.
I hope to be helpful to those who find themselves with the same problem.
