CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android
community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from
another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also
slowly being open-sourced anyway.

aren't the drivers from 4.1 working on 4.2 (since it is kinda a jelly bean) for HQ YT i mean
i tested it and this is how it goes
i had no problems turning on wifi
but the signal is fluctuating like one moment i have full sign one moment i don't have wifi at all or sometimes it stays that way, it is wotking but signal is poor
i am like 2 meters away from the modem so distance is not the problem
also call, sms signal not working after i turned off 3g
the dock divider overlays over app widgets: the power widget that comes preadded to the desktop
stability ok as far as i tested
ooooooooooooooooh man!
excellent,excellent,excellent...
very good and nice...
thank you....:victory:

4.2.1 has less ram consumption around 67 mb only ^^ i always have 120 mb free
Only 67 mb???
67+120=187
But gio's ram is 280 mb
And where is this 100mb?
Its great in the beta stage.

You can very easily flash the kernel of your choice. I am extremely have with faux's kernel and don't see any reason to change it.

I checked out the MMS application and indeed there is a bug there. I am planning on making the MMS app dark by default and then switching the toggle to "light" instead of "dark" (because it will already be dark). Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Should be fine....i've been using TWRP since about a week after getting the phone and haven't had a problem flashing any roms yet, even when the OP recommends to use CWM
I don't want to start any drama considering the circumstances but can anyone briefly tell me what the differences between this and carbon are? The features lists look very similar.

well as you know carbon tree was forked from liquidsmooth
since then they went there own way
since then many things were added in liquid , I wouldnt know if these were kanged from liquid or added to carbon via an other way or if they werent added at all or what was added since then by team carbon .. I do not follow what thy do on there github at all..
liquidsmooth as there own kernel and so does carbon , afaik each kernel is unique to these specific roms and kernel plays a critical role inhow phone behaves so your best bet is to try them both ...
I could give you my opinion but ofc im biased ..
I can tell you one thing for sure when I joined liquidsmooth a few of the 'pub' optimizations were used already but not all of them , this has been corrected so you can expect the maximum smoothnest possible in an oasp based rom .
I personally got the highest linpack results I ever did before on this rom , 245 (average) @ 1.9ghz .. nugh said .
now lets not bring up the 'c' word anymore thank you (lol)

ok if the last person in the other thread told you it was not fixed then why would you assume that it would be magically fixed in this rom when they are based off the same 4.2.2

I can confirm this is also happening to me. When navigating to settings and clicking on lockscreen, I get an error message, "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped."
I hope I provided the logcat properly, this was the first time doing it. The logcat and device information can be found HERE

Its happening on the jellybro 4.2.2 rom as well but its better than all the random reboots on 4.2.1 though

I was happy to see your build:good: I run liquid on my droid4 and it kicks ass.
Few issues-lock screen and settings both crash in settings. Also Bluetooth will not turn on.
Trying to choose a color for battery, the selector is way over sized and you cannot see the set buttons.( same issue in all color selectors)(not in log)
the back button in settings also drops you into google now sometimes. (this happends alot on the back button in general)
I hope you whip these quick.
You ROM whipped cm10.1 in autu bench mark by 2000!
Cm10.1 13500
Liquid 15500
Logs for above issue.

So tried to install this ROM. Android keyboard crashen ll the time. Tried to fash it with other Gapps, but it didnt work. Flashed again without, works, but wrong language. Set it to german, keyboard crashes. Tried it with other german languages, crashes. In english keyboard works. Maybe in other languages too.
Lockscreen-stettings crashes, navigation crashes. In Performance i couldnt over- or underclock. Its not working. Bluetooth not working. If i set it on, it goes off after tens of a second. The right statusbar for me not showing. If i re-order or add buttons there, settings crashes.
Re: [ROM][4.2.2]2/16[RC1] LiquidSmooth |Flooding|
Language in the keyboard doesn't work because the included keyboard isn't the international version the 2 setting crashes are a known 4.2.2 bug and so is Bluetooth, thanks for the info on the ov and uv issue though.

Using Thumb Keyboard...no problems except the navigation bar settings causing the crashes.

bluetooth is working on cm10.1 4.2.2, maybe they patched it along with the settings crashes.

Thanks Deadman, as everyone else has said I can confirm the same defect with regards to Settings. I'll keep an eye out for an update and from there I'll happily test if a fix is found.
Do some one sort you out with a log-cat or would you like me to send one through?

I'd greatly appreciate it. If I can get a monthly donation income of at least 8$ USD a month, I can link it to my PayPal, so no money has to come out of my pocket. If I can get a significantly larger income of 8$ USD a month, that could open up opportunities for dedicated servers, or improvements throughout the site including things like: Better download speeds, more FTP users, etc.

OK then it must be caused by my notebook. Wi-Fi doesn't work so well on my notebook when I use Ubuntu on it. So maybe my ROM wasn't uploaded successfully. I have added all the required files to build this ROM for toro.
It's 5 Am here so I let my notebook finish ROM compiling..
